How do you feel about this?

Confirms it's garbage.

How should I feel?
Is this some kind of contest

Indifferent. It could be Love Live, Madoka or some other cancerous shit.

>Madoka or some other cancerous shit.
Well it certainly couldn't be that. Madoka's success and popularity was greatly over exaggerated.

The Fast and the Furious is my favorite anime. Toretto best girl

To tell you honestly I'm not surprised. I constantly see something from the franchise being marketed. And then it has live action movies, PS4 exclusives, handheld games, 50k+ seasonal anime sales.

Where is Monogatari?

>The Fast and The Furious
Good to see a well done anime getting into the list.

It isn't that successful. LN sales aren't great anymore. And just having BD+DVD sales won't really get you on this list.

Not to mention the BD+DVD sales for the franchise have dwindled

SnK is a pretty good anime, so it could be much worse.
It is not an anime that will have a big negative impact on the industry in the form of imitators. Its imperfections is not what makes people love it, so it will not inspire trash.
It simply is a good anime that has many things people like.

>No Osomatsu on the list
>Vol 1 sold 130 000 copies
>Merch sell like crazy
>It has light novesl and manga sales
Why are you posting fake stuff user

These are from 2015. It will show up at the end of this year. Oricon isn't fake.

>nothing truly good on that list
SnK simply belongs there.

>A ripoff
>Good
Now you are going to tell me characters are good and story isn't filled with shounen cliches.

It really is a shame that Muv-Luv got jipped by this franchise. Maybe through the massive success of kickstarter and steam we will see the series get what it deserves.

Does this include EVERYTHING for a show? BDs, DVDs, event tickets, merchandise, figurines? Is there anything else I'm missing?

Why don't you post a year OP?
Oh, I forgot that you are 12 year old cancerous titanshit fag

One Piece will more than likely take back the top spot this year. Unless the PS4 SnK game is a massive hit

>Why don't you post a year OP?
It's 2015. Google you idiot

>we will see the series get what it deserves
You mean inordinate amounts of Marimo porn?

The only thing i care about on that list is Magi since its my favorite manga. I used to like One Piece but lately its just meh same shit over and over

>lately its just meh same shit over and over
And Magi is different? Isn't Magi in its final arc?

And retards were trying to claim that the series was going downhill. This is going to be a long-running money making franchise. Maybe in about 10 years it will stop being relevant

One Piece really needs to end.

>The Fast and the Furious

INITIAL DFAGS BLOWN THE FUCK OUT

EUROBEAT SUCKS FAGGOTS

>get to a new area have set fights for all the main cast until luffy eventually battles the vilainous boss
When did Magi repeat stuff exactly? It may be in its final arc but it wont end for years. The final arc from the looks of it is going to be huge and very entertaining

Is the Fate series the only franchise on that list to feature canon full penetration?

nothing really
if it weren't that, it would be another series

>Naruto trash still up there.

This shit ended 2 years ago can it just die already?

How could boku no hero academia rank seventh in may? Back then the only thing you could buy was the actual manga, right? Is it really selling that well with just tankoubons?

>Maybe in about 10 years it will stop being relevant
It will stop being relevant when the manga ends.

>long-running
Author himself said that after this arc there is one or two left. It isn't long-running.

It will still have legs. Thanks to the anime's insane popularity, video games and inevitable spin-offs

Would it be enough though? Doesn't the Monogatari series have similar numbers, has been going for more time, and yet it didn't make it?

It was pretty cool at first and then it went very fast full shit. You can sell tons of copies on a good beginning.

Koyomimonogatari sold around 30k copies. You have no idea how fucking popular Osomatsu is.

I'll be honest. I can't figure out what's so great about the show. I've tried watching it a few times but there's nothing interesting or compelling.

>The Fast and the Furious
Good job, Diesel senpai.

Don't forget the Hollywood adaption

The truth was staring us in the face the whole time.

I'm suprised Seven Sins is doing that good

I guess the moral of the story is that having giants in your story sells

So now that the dust had settled and it's confirmed SnK will sell more than Eva, we can agree that it's actually pretty good right?

Indifference. I don't care.

>comparing manga sales to DVD/movie sales

>Love Live!
>4th place

Makes me glad to have avoided it. Normie garbage.

I admit the anime is extremely overrated, but it's actually very enjoyable and funny to watch, just because the threads are garbage doesn't mean it's bad.

HOW THE FUCK DID IT BEAT ONE PIECE?

How the fuck, isnt One Piece the highest-selling piece of fiction in Japanese history?

They saw how popular AoT became and did 10x more merchandise than One Piece has

If you're going to compare across all mediums, it's not particularly close.

>normie

Second

I didn't think that seven deadly sins was that popular

The manga sold extremely well in 2015

Is gunpla included on others? Otherwise that is a shit list and Gundam wins by default

Kabaneri was a direct rip-off and it was terrible.

>but muh Mono series was suppose to be the most popular
>but muh Madoka series was suppose to be the most popular
>but muh Love Live series was suppose to be the most popular

SnK is the biggest new franchise of the 21st century for the industry right now.

Edgy teens kill dickless giants with boxcutters. Who even thought that shit up?

isayama is now one mad rich mother fucker. 29 and already set for life. Must feel good.

watamote is best anime of all time.

It hut me so much knowing season 2 and 3 chould save anime from it self.

I'll keep support watamote.

>Nisekoi

Wow it's pretty bad but good for Komi.

Moeshitters literally BTFO

Dont get why people like love live

It attracts all the no ambition, no girlfriend loser faggots

Your right miyazaki if something like watamote can't get a season 2 something fuck up.

What the hell is Yokai Watch? It's airing on Disney XD, it's good? Looks pretty gay and the opening sound is cringe as fuck.

?

It all same shit why are you not support watamote.

m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=ZFQCX6tIzC4&t=78

>XD
Fuck off.

This will hopefully shut up the dumb anons who try to argue that their taste is impeccable because they like an anime that is financially successful in Japan. At least for one to two weeks.

>Gundam is the only franchise older than 15/20 years still ranking

Makes you really think.

>kingdom in top 5

based

season 3 when

It's a Pokemon ripoff that's even easier than the new games. Very popular in Japan but never caught on in America.

Anyone have manga only sales?

...

Is this for a specific time period?

Merchandise sales(Charabiz 2013, shows the 2012 numbers):

64 Billion Yen- One Piece

How is NNT so popular in Japan but still mostly unheard of in the west? I would have thought the mainstream shounenfags would be all over that.

Dec 8, 2014 - Dec 13, 2015.

Dragon ball didn't stop being relevant when it ended. Neither will One Piece. The manga is good enough to be remembered 10 years from now. Can't say the same about the anime.

Literally everything on that list is shit I couldn't force myself to sit through 10 minutes of.

Netflix picked up the rights for the anime. They didn't really promote it. Most western audiences watch an anime then go scramble for the manga. Even if you don't stream your anime, the promotion done by the legal streamers draws people in.

Does F&F count as manime?

Not anymore OP. It's just Love Live and Osomatsu now.

Yes it would beIt's second in the Half Year list for the biggest franchise of 2016.

It still amazes me Sins is that high. I don't know, it just doesn't feel like it has the 'presence' compared to the rest of the top.

It was because the manga sold a lot due to the anime boost and because it releases six volumes in an year.

It was below average, I die now desu.

After more Manga sales and The PS4 game love live will get btfo

>SnK
>merchandising
I must be fucking blind, because I'm reading "medicines" and "dining" on that table.

Are you talking about SnK? Because it's 10th in the list and there's no way it'll happen.

Yeah I am. At the end of the year SnK and One Piece will once again top the list. Love Live can't compete with huge manga sales.

The piece of shit has already stopped being relevant.

Vin Diesel is my favorite anime.

Kabaneri was great, solid pretty well too.

user. Love Live is a huge Juggernaut when it comes to merchandise sales. The franchise reportedly makes 42.3 billion yen per year, ONE PIECE at 28.9 billion yen, Shingeki no Kyojin at 13 billion yen and Gundam at 16.9 billion yen as examples: yusaani.com/news/2015/09/19/194023/

This. Cant wait for those movies and the S2 announcement afterwards, the hipster salt is going to be great.

It's pretty much single-handedly keeping Weekly Shonen on the shelves at this point.

I love Mikasa
