Yes, an incredibly good game. Loads of content (almost too much) and the very episodic nature of it makes it a relaxing game to play through.
Just be aware that not all Stands are created equal. Joykiller, Wildhearts, and Quicksilver in particular are better than most of the other player Stands.
Kakyoin is super fucking broken to the point where you won't want to use anyone else.
You'll probably do a bit of grinding throughout the game and it's in black and white. Also there's a notable glitch that can happen when fighting DIO. Make sure you use the walkthrough on the wiki otherwise you will never see like 90% of the shit in the game.

It looks boring. The protagonist looks boring and the stereotypical strong manly dude from the 80s, like JoJo was a lot like in the beggining. The difference being that Jonathan was a sweetheart.
Claiming one has to read HnK because it contextualizes JoJo feels a lot like claiming one has to read La Galatea or Felixmarte de Hyrcania before reading Don Quijote.
