Best tip I can give in this thread is to get tf off Sup Forums. Limit your Sup Forums time to an hour a day max. If the time you spend on here exceeds your reading time, that is bad.

Quick fit tips
1. Never do strength exercises two days in a row (muscles get stronger on rest). Do 1 day cardio - 1 day strength - 1 day cardio... it will help you to improve much faster
2. muscle build beneath the fat: so it's important to do the cardio too, or you will just be a fat and very strong man
3. eggs and meat build proteins which build muscles. Don't exaggerate on them, but let them be a part of your diet. Oatmeal for breakfast is very good too
4. tuna and white fish are extremely low on everything unhealthy but high on good things like omega 3

Ideally you want to do as many as you can, do it until muscle failure. Keep a log of what you do and try to do at least one more the next time you workout.
