However, around 0:45, you hear the quieter shots without the loud shots before, meaning that it can’t be echoes. Also, the loud shots in the beginning are closer than 32 stories up.

I'd be surprised if there weren't multiple shooters just based on video evidence of security and people planted in the audience giving misdirection to the crowd to insure as many people as possible took a bullet. It was a planned attack with feet on the ground.
Are you sure the softer gun fire is not sound being reflected back by some other building? If there isn't overlapping, equal intensity sound of fire, its highly unlikely there are two shooters. Plus I think that sound waves change based on how far they have traveled so maybe you can do something with that.

This video makes it sound like someone further away was running coverup to potentially scatter and confuse police and people calling 9/11 to report it.
Theres been no other reports of people being massacred outside of the concert so that other gunner may have just been shooting in the air or maybe another designated gunman also shooting the crowd.
No doubt that sounds like two different sources of gunfire though, especially given how close her cab was to the mandalay bay where regardless of which window he would have fired from, would be very loud and the primary source of gunfire heard throughout her video. Its those weird pauses and distant, muffled gunfire that really point it out.

I think the shooter is moving between the two firing positions making it sound like he is farther away.
In the taxi video we hear shooting close -at 0:05, that would probably be the window that I market in my picture, then he possibly moves to the second firing position, obscured from the taxi drivers position by the building, making the gunfire sound farther away, at 0:45, the driver comments that it sounds farther away.
At 1:05 he comes back to the first position again and the gunfire sounds close again.
But it doesn't explain one thing, why isn't there a similar eco from the second time he fires, from the time when it sounds far away.
