I don't hide it, I just don't signal unnecessarily. Lying has always made me extremely uncomfortable and I'm pretty damn well married to my Weltanschauung by this point. If I am asked about my views or 'invited to agree' with a statement someone has made that I truly do not agree with, I don't deny my beliefs, I accept my fate and speak truthfully. My views don't even feel edgy to me anymore, I don't feel a spike of adrenaline, I don't recoil when I'm found out.
I got wrapped up in the leftist hugbox and became an earnest cultural marxist for a time, so I know how they think, how to avoid the thought terminating phrases that shut them off, and I feel some sympathy/understanding so I can explain things kindly but firmly, without compromise.

I stopped giving a fuck at some point, OP. I used to avoid talking about politics altogether. Sup Forums drilled it into me to never reveal power level. I could see why it was a sensible thing to do. Until one day I found myself standing in the yard sperging out to my neighbors about Muslims moving in, and how they are and how they hate minorities in their own countries, but here they want acceptance and tolerance. And how they hate animals. My neighbors are dog people and they were eating that shit up. I was half expecting to be told off. But I just didn't care. It went better than I thought.
In my case it might be a little easier to be open because my own immediate family dislike the Jews very much and always have and "Jews are everywhere and behind everything" was a common refrain since I can remember. So I got lucky in that regard.
I have one person outside of my family I can discuss everything with openly and call a spade a spade, and a nigger a nigger.
Some people I managed to have freaked out though, but at this point, I just can't contain it.
