You haven't actually watched the series have you?

>space germans
>not blonde/blue eyed

Why should he watch it, if he can shit post instead

Actually they're usually an anti-hero rather than a villain

>antagonist
>reinhart

Reinhardt is not an antagonist.

youtube.com/watch?v=gp4g7WV2slE

In no way is he the bad guy
Young definitely is protrayed in a more benign light, but they are both the ´´MC´´ or the closest thing to one.

I always forget to save this pic when it appears in threads. Thanks user

Yes I have. The main idea of the story is that Reinhard is a selfish prick who gets controlled by his childish whims and Wenli is a spineless cuck. Reuenthal and Julian were the only persons in the show who had a common sense.

There are no heroes or villians in the show

Well aside from earth

selfinsertfags could pretend they are this guy

Char. Char Aznable is the reason.

>tfw the history of mankind was shaped by people with childish whims
Tasty bait btw

REINHARD DID NOTHING WRONG

>Not self-inserting as Yang or Julian if anyone

Meant for

>Reuental
>common sense

Save it. It's all yours, fellow Imperial :)

LOGH is mainly about the concept of power and relations concerning of it. Lohengramm stands everything against the ideals which the author tries to give through the dialogues of Wenli. He's obviously the bad guy.

He lost to Yang.

Reinhard never actually lost an engagement against Yang.

>Lohengramm
Nice try, but I can tell you didn't watch the show.

Because everyone wants to be A CHAR.

Even Char himself.

most antagonists are white/silver haired from what I can tell

I kept expecting him to start doing everything wrong at some point

But he held on to the memory of his friend and never strayed, never forgetting the goal that originally sparked his ambition, to make the galaxy a better place
Truly the greatest kaiser

Why are you forgetting the most based imperial there ever was?

LOL WOMEN AMIRITE GUYS

...

OP is almost right, in that blonde characters are always at least slightly evil

At least I don't directly jump into conclusions and say like "hey this guy is in intro, he must be the good guy" from the start. I think you're the one who never bothered to watch it.

antagonist?

...

He lost the Battle of Vermilion. He might have come out victorious in the end, but what really matters (to him) is that Yang beat him in the battlefield.

You do know that he not only wins, but wins so hard that he is the one man that provides peace to the galaxy and brings about a new generation of enlightened ruler-ship to everyone?

The ending alone proves this much.

SEIG MEIN KAISER

That's not what I meant. You would never call them Lohengramm or Wenli if you had watched the show. Your words betray you.

>Wenli: Gives logical explanations why democracy should be the essential and makes good facts about governments and countries
>Reinfag: HURR I WANNA BE THE KING
Just fuck off.

He had potential, but he died before he could accomplish much. Reuental is in fact the most based imperial there ever was after mein Kaiser.

Perhaps the least evil character in all of anime.

...

Actually he would have come out fucking dead, if Yang's retarded superiors didn't stop him

Reinhard was seeing the faults and wanted a parliament type government, similar to japan or UK. He never disagreed with yang, but didn't seem to seem eye to eye

>implying Goldenbaum Dynasty and Trunhilt aren't villains

I think it would be really interesting to see an alternate history where Reinhard gets killed by the assassin and Kircheis succeeds him.

He would probably try to carry on his friend's ambition, but would he go as far?
How would he deal with Oberstein?
He is also the only one who ever got the better of Yang in a tactical standoff making him possibly the best general in the galaxy.

Reinhard's fault is that he spent too much time thinking about conquering the universe and too little time thinking about how to actually fix it once he had done so. I wouldn't be surprised if the empire split into several smaller belligerent states shortly after his death. Fortunately he at least had the decency of stepping out of the stage in favor of a more intelligent administrator once he had unified the cosmos.

...

I meant main characters, and Trunhilt actually was doing some good things like not supporting the war. Basically he just wanted to appease the masses for power but still would help the masses.

Kaiserfags really make the worst shitposters in the universe.

Trunhilt is just there to represent the ugliest side of democracy, he's in no way an antagonist.

>you will never be base fucking kesler
>be awesome
>win a qt maid at the end who wants ur dick

[F]

I'm not even a kaiserfag, if I had to pick one I'd certainly identify with Yang more than with Reinhard, but the stuff you're saying is just idiotic. It's not even a matter of who you think is right or wrong, it's a matter of how the show portrays them, and the show clearly does not label them as good guy and bad guy.

Because of gaijin complex

...

Why does LotGH make the best reaction images?

This scene got me physically sad.

Like I dunno never got this sad for a death

OP4>OP3>OP2>OP1

I want to plant my seed in her and then support her and my child while loving her

OP1 = OP2 = OP3 > shit > OP4

...

kesler please control yourself and save it for after the wedding.

Just because the show doesn't says or portrays directly the good and the bad, it doesn't mean that there are no subtle nuances at all. And those nuances are against the favor of Reinhard.

>nuances
Such as?

...

Just re-watch the scenes between Julian and Yang thoroughly, that'll give you an idea. Reinhard is portrayed as a selfish ruler who wants to control the universe just for the sake of his personal desires overall in the show.

>when the enemies of reinhart are talking about reinheart he comes of as the bad guy
Maybe, just maybe you're the one watching the show with a biased view.

Isn't he right though?

Reinhard pretty much does things out of selfish ambitions. He does not care much about the millions that die for him.

>enemies of reinhart
Yang and Julian wasn't the enemies of Reinhard Kaiserfag.

Damn plant Jesus.

Reinhard was a cool siscon until the "le frustrated guy" got laserring'd. After then he became a salty siscon.

Sweet mercy why is this so cute

Became? Wasn't his whole impetus to take back his sister?

Didn't you see the abject sorrow at what Oberstein let happen to two million people?

Does this looks like a man who doesn't care?

No he didn't, he wanted an absolute dictatorship

...

Truniht was ironically looking to instill constitutionalism in the empire.

Also gave us one of the greatest captions ever

thats a protagonist user

No he fucking didn't you weeblord, he wanted and abolished anything like that. He even gave up to a democratic parliament before he died, he wanted to let everyone have a free chance.

Did Oberstein do anything wrong?
I'm not even sure that indirectly killing JEEGFREEDO wasn't ultimately for the best.

I want to undress her slowly as she tries to hide her naked body while I please her and feel her breasts.

Oberstein did nothing wrong. He did the hard decisions reinhard couldn't make.

He made a small error and got himself killed.

He gave that terraist dude control of the secret police

And yet he achieves much more good than Yang Wenli. That's the crux of the issue, it's what makes him an anti-hero, and not an antagonist .

But he never did beat Yang in the field, he always felt outsmarted and inferior. Frankly their both undefeated in their own ways. Many people just respect Yang more for being the underdog, myself included.

You kind of missed the fact that Reinhard did degenerate slightly as a leader during the second half of the show. Despite achieving his ultimate goal, he was unsatisfied as a warrior and it was obvious he desired not just a convincing victory over Yang to repair his ego, but also a hunger for further glory in battle. His actual governance is just his hyper competent version of going through the motions.

Ironically yes, but I hope your not implying it was his goal all along, and not just his plan to reach the top again in the new world order.

Its the only way they can get back at evil whitey for WW2.

>Reinhard
>antagonist

Dunno, there's a lot of blond protagonists too.

He may have had selfish reasons, but the ultimate impact of his actions was more positive then anything yang accomplished. He united the galaxy and ended a century's old war. With no more real reason to launch large scale campaigns and raid territories, and with the Terraist terrorists wiped out along with Phezan's upper echelon, humanity has the chance to work towards something better thanks to him.

THIS WORLD IS MADE OF LOVE AND PEACE
LOVE AND PEACE!!!

Why are redheads best characters?

Bittenfeld
Dominique
Bittenfeld
Katerose
Poplan

...

Mein Kaiser was the Hero not the antagonist, shut up your feces filled tongue.

Bullshit. He was skeptical as fuck when Julian sold him the idea and left it up to his wife to decide

>Actually he would have come out fucking dead, if Yang's retarded superiors didn't stop him
That was one of the few intelligent decisions we saw the demoncracy do in the whole anime.
What is the point of killing the enemy leader just to have your capital planet bombarded instead? They had no way to know that in a few minutes Yang would completely win anyway, so better to give up than lose millions of people and infrastructure that would take decades to rebuild.

MOST RECENT PICTURE OF TURKISH COUP MEMBERS

Not that Reinhard fulfills the role you are claiming but its classic Japanese butthurt over America.

Those same democratic ideals turn out to be totally corrupt though.

Reinhardt is the protag
