Steve made many "amateur mistakes"?

could have [easily] done more damage than 59/500? he seemed pretty proficient for a 64yo with no military training

If anything he killed more than he should have. He was firing blind, supposedly untrained. From his perspective the crowd would be nothing but a shadowy blob and he would be blinded by the lights.
Unless he was actually well trained and had some way of seeing what he was looking at like a marker.

And the person replying to Woods is an idiot.
His execution was flawless. He smuggled 23 guns into a hotel room and went undetected for a year.
He possibly even had a plan to escape and disappear completely.

>plan to escape...from his own room
did he have a zip cord from window to the parking lot?

He bought some guns, then went to a tall place and shot them. There are hundreds of places where he could have done this. Any event with a few walls around it to slow people. It's shocking that people think it is
a) hard to operate an automatic weapon
b) hard to find a place above a crowd of people
c) hard to not tell anyone before you do this

For all of the screeching about the things, the bumpfire stock probably reduced the death toll. Without it, he'd have been picking out specific targets in the crowd, aiming, and probably getting a fairly high percentage of upper torso hits (ie the part of the human body where most of the vital organs are). With it he was just spraying fire in the general direction of the crowd.

Fuck off (((costanza)))

According to the official story, he shot for about 10 minutes, then stopped, even though the cops didn't break in until after an hour of silence later. So yes, he could have killed more if he'd simply kept shooting. Unless the official story is crap and he didn't do it at all.

It was in this time i think he planned to escape but something happened.

No here's what happened

1. Starts shooting at crowd
2. At 10:15 Mexican security guard shows up outside his door
3. Steve thinks he's fucked and will get raped in the ass in prison, shoots 200 rounds through the door then blows his head off

If not for the security guard distracting him there'd be a lot more dead imo

spooked by security guard who had key card at 9-10 minutes. police allegedly at the stairwell, so would have been on door 1 minute later if security guard didn't spook him. he shot because it was probably too hard to focus on shooting crowd (+ noise) while trying to watch intrusions at doors

Police were on the 32 floor, stairwell...so maybe 1 minute from getting to his door had mexican not gotten to it

He could have killed a lot more with as simple a change as using .308, and the only thing he did that might have been challenging was move his suitcases from his car to his room.

What i think his escape plan was like. He was going to just walk out the front door, leave Vegas maybe fly his plane to another location and leave the country.

what about the car full of chemicals?

Distraction

Unless he had a scope and night-vision, at 400m he was firing blindly into the crowd no matter what technique he used.

He intended to set it off in the hotel as he was leaving: the Hans method.

I wonder if he intended to try to escape via service elevator next to the suite's door? i still find it hard to believe anyone thought they could just walk out. if he wanted to walk out he shouldn't have shot for an entire 9 minutes

>hard to operate an automatic weapon
Motherfucker have you ever shot a full giggle M4A1 before? that shit is hard to control. If it was a bumpfire even moreso. This whole thing stinks of an alphabet agency/ false flag

The cops didn't come for him for awhile something like 40 minutes.

t. Idiot

He had better than that, a hose

They showed their anger at conspiracy theorists throughout the pressers. All it takes is releasing one of the many possible shreds of evidence that could dispute the theories. They haven't released it because they are after more suspects. Once you accept that fact, start questioning how the suspect(s) escaped. It is far fetched that amateurs were able to pull this off, escape the city with a manhunt underway at nearly every casino on the south strip, and get away with it (thus far). Something much larger is at play here, and Sup Forumstards are pulling the threads to unravel it all

@LTC_Hunter is a faggot. You know what to do people

Why would he disregard conspiracy theories as a rule? There are plenty of plausible conspiracy theories that have a lot of evidence that supports them. There's a difference between a believable and unbelievable conspiracy theory

Was "Frank Sinatra" that important?
How much danger where they actually in?
Where they (and the airport) really target as well?
Saw this being mentioned in some posts here but nothing more after that

a trained assassin who assassinated 59 random people

What fucking escape plan, car full of tannerite, fucking booked room in his name.
Alerts ever LE agency within 100 miles to surround the Mandalay bay.

64yr old alcoholic on ant-depressants.

he would've gone far.

Ridiculous,

So what if it was booked in his name he probably had another id.
Why did he send money overseas? Why did he wear gloves?

I mean he just sprayed as much ammunition as he could into a large crowd.

He was clever in that he picked the perfect firing position and barricaded himself in. Likewise the large number of loaded rifles he had also made it easier for him by allowing him to reload less and by letting him rapid fire one large capacity magazine after another without as much fear of his guns failing due to overheating. Basically he picked an idiot proof method of killing a lot of people.

However a good shot with one or two scoped semi automatic rifles and a bunch of loaded magazines could have killed more people in the time he had by picking targets and aiming central mass.

"Authorities believe that the guard drew the attention of mass murderer Stephen Paddock away from the chaos below and toward the hallway outside his room.

The guard, Jesus Campos, was shot in the leg while checking on the alarm and according to a police-reported timeline, Paddock never fired on the crowd below again.

The alarm from a room "a number of doors down" from Paddock's likely was a coincidence, McMahill told CNN's "The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer." The door was not forced open, had been open for a while, and Paddock didn't have the keys to that room. McMahill said that door either had been left open or didn't shut completely."

It could have been easily in hundreds if not for an amazing coincidence.

>If anything he killed more than he should have. He was firing blind, supposedly untrained.
The very fact he used bump stocks and surefire mags shows he was an amateur at best. He could have done much worse with just a bit more training and knowledge and a couple of regular ol' off the shelf ARs.

One of the newest videos out shows the start of the attack. He was so amateur he needed to verify his dope. He fired 3 individual rounds into the crowd. A huge part of the crowd scattered well before he started pumping rounds out with a different firearm equipt with a bump stock. If he knew what he was doing his first volley would have been with multiple successive rounds.

We should be angry at conspiracy theories, because they are fucking bullshit, fed by jews to keep the intelligent chasing their fucking tails

There is no magic and mystery, conspiracy theories are modern day fairy tales.

Amazing how people capable of driving to work and feeding themselves believe in all kinds of bullshit. Including that some shadow fuking team staged a mass murder just to get something that 1% of gun owners have, a bump fire stock.

OMFG.

lmao got 'em on strings gunga

The other thing
>64 old alcoholic on anti-depressants
So he was able to do what he did but not get away? Underestimating him after he did what he did? Idiot.

>He wanted the money to go to a loved one or close friend
>Guns become hot when firing entire magazine's within seconds

Yeah just by flying one of his planes into the crowd

Literally just bring a rifle and tracer rounds and you can get some distance from a building reasonably ranged immediately.

So closing the door is barricading yourself in? Pretty fortified

Oh shit, real pro there, he wore fucking gloves. Sign of trained assassin.

>he cared about loved ones( overseas mind yoi)
>killed a large number of people
>implying gun handles get hot.

To not leave prints you retard shill.

>To not leave prints you retard shill.
Are you fucking retarded, you dont think his DNA, Video Cameras, Credit Card, witness, car in the parking garage, paper trail a mile fucking long, did the deed in a place where he was well know and a regular.

But no, the gloves and no finger prints, makes him a ghost.

Some people are also suggesting he might have been cleaning the room as he was attacking.
Why would you do that?

>His execution was flawless
>even had a plan to escape
>dies instead of escaping
>flawless execution

He got the room for FREE AND THOUSANDS IN SUSHI.

HE FUCKED THEM LOL

You don't understand because you are an idiot. He was going to change identities. Thats the point.
He never had been finger printed! No criminal record you fucking fool.

could be the lesser shot from the revolver before he ends it. you can hear it in the two final shots. sounds about the right amount of time.

To much ambient light for N.V. The best option is a green reticule optic and to aim each shot one by one. Slower aimed shots ensures accuracy and will be more confusing than the distinct sound of near auto fire.

the tunnels that are under the strip where the homeless live. There are a few entrances to the tunnels by that area.
>t.local

>His execution was flawless
No it wasn't. It was mediocre at best.
>He smuggled 23 guns into a hotel room
Have you ever been to Vegas? The casinos are huge and have 4-7 thousand rooms. Nobody is watching people coming and going with suitcases. You could make 100 trips, mingled with hundreds or thousands of people walking in between the casino, restaurants and their rooms and nobody would bat and eye.
>and went undetected for a year.
Why would he be detected? He did nothing illegal. He had no criminal record. No record of mental illness. His guns were all legal and bought via background checks. His bump stocks were all legal. His magazines were all legal. The tannerite was also legal.
>He possibly even had a plan to escape and disappear completely.
And he didn't even come close to escaping because his plan was so shit. As soon as he set of the smoke alarms they knew exactly where he was. Vegas does not fuck around with casinos and fire ever since the MGM fire in the 80s that killed a bunch of guests.

If the fire alarm goes off they are instantly alerted to the room and they investigate immediately. This guys was no pro. He took a long time planing but made really dumb mistakes and thankfully didn't know what he was doing with firearms or this could have been much worse.

>manage to execute the worst shooting in us history
>mediocre

He was an IRS Agent you moron they have his fucking prints.

Jimmny Christmas, go to bed.

When they were trying to make that a deal earlier tonight I didn't understand why it mattered that he bought tracer rounds. I never really thought of them as spotters. Apparently he had them but for whatever crazy reason, didn't use them. (Schnitt show) Take the source as you will.

but the police have said he wasn't planning suicide... thus he must've had some escape plan...

what did he think was going to happen after he fired automatic weapons from his hotel room for 10 minutes? was he expecting to just walk out and get in the elevator?

i don't see how this random security guard would've changed those plans in any way.

So he was going to clean the room to keep them from getting his prints and DNA? You know he had multiple houses around the country not to mention multiple vehicles and planes?

Jesus, you're a moron.

Was in tended for

No. Listen carefully. The new location he was moving to would not have any connection to the crime scene. No prints on the guns. He changes identity and moves to asia.

Nobody was watching the outside of the building. During that silence the team escaped, hoisted to the roof.

>tracer rounds
They point both directions.

>randomly spray bullents on a field of 25,000 festival goers
>""""trained professional""""

...

A flawless mass shooting could have gotten 200+ easily. If Paddock was trained in marksmanship and had a properly ranged and scoped semi auto rifle, he could have effortlessly placed rounds directly into individuals laying on the ground in fright.

It is mediocre because he just magdumped towards the crowd and missed 95% of the time. Yes he killed a lot of people, but in terms of having elevated position+lots of guns and ammo+huge crowd, it was not a very good execution if he was going for an absurd high score.

Yeah exactly. He picked the location and the strategy so people would have trouble finding him. Giving him time to escape.

Yeah its kind of a fucking retarded idea if you are planning on escaping.

He thought he would run out of the place with all the other terrified guests and disappear. He didn't realize he would be discovered so quickly. He probably wouldn't have been discovered so quickly had he taken better precautions to prevent the smoke alarms from going off.

As soon as the alarms in his room went off security knew which room to investigate. They are very concerned about fire in Vegas after the MGM fire in 1980 that killed 85 people. They probably sent the guard before they even knew there was a shooting. They couldn't hear the shooting from inside the casino. They may have been able to near check in, by some of the main door into the building but they probably had no idea it was coming from into the hotel.

My guess is he thought he had another 5-10 minutes to walk out and disappear into the crowd. He probably had a plan to drive the vehicle packed with explosives through a fence right up to the fuel tanks. Walk away and then blowup the car.

Those fuel tanks are on the grounds of the executive airport. he may have had plans to take a plane and crash it into a casino or try to stay low and fly away to safety

I'm inclined to believe he was probably radicalized by ISIS, but it just doesn't make sense for some random old faggot to turn to Islam. It's basically the 9/11 of our times as far as the mystery and sketchiness behind it.

Not sure why americans get triggered by this. Ever seen a crime scene? Its dusted for prints even when known criminals are evolved.

>near auto fire

youtube.com/watch?v=Cp0aaDwUZ9o

Slidefire stocks are very temperamental. But when they do work the cyclic rate is higher.

Getting really sick of all this fucking conspiracy shit.

Pea-brained retards who literally think there's no way to argue second amendment rights unless literally every shooting is a false flag

>He probably wouldn't have been discovered so quickly had he taken better precautions to prevent the smoke alarms from going off.

Was it only the smoke alarm in his room that went off? Or several others on that floor? Because if it's the former, then it's really fucking weird that he'd plan out all of this ahead of time so meticulously, but then skimp out on something so crucial to cover his ass.

A "trained assassin" wouldn't have used a bump stock for starters. He could've killed a lot more with a good scope and just magdumping targets with a semi-auto.

>he shot the fuel tanks at the airport

Any professional would've known the tanks could not be penetrated from that distance (~2000 ft). This is what makes me think it was an amateur.

>he bought tracer rounds. I never really thought of them as spotters.
That's their only purpose.

i guess i'm just an amateur, but i'd assume if i took an automatic weapon up into a casino hotel... bashed out the windows and started firing into a large crowd... i'm thinking i'm gonna be found out in a couple of minutes at most...

why on earth would i have 2375 guns in the room if i'm making my escape in a matter of a couple of minutes?

maybe just really bad planning on his part... but the pieces just don't add up to even basic logic.

i bring a lot of guns if i'm going to do a lot of shooting. if i do a lot of shooting, i'm not escape in a couple of minutes.

>They point both directions.
What does that mean? People receiving incoming fire can't seen tracers. The element that ignites is embedded in the hollow base of the round.

>takes 23 guns into a room
>shoots conservative republicans
>republicans start switching their attitude to guns almost immediately.

>raining bullets from a building into a crowd with bump stocked rifles is difficult
No wonder you're all neets.

He did penetrate the tank with 1 shot. Others hit but didn't go through. Those takes aren't very thick, especially near the top. Not that it matters. Jet A isn't going to ignite by being hit by gunfire.

part of this might have been his fantasy that he was beginning his career as an international assasin...

someone i know swears he was paid to do this and his arrogant 'gambler' mentality made him think he could get away with it... and he was left hanging by people that were supposed to help.

>if i do a lot of shooting, i'm not escape in a couple of minutes.
Why? He clearly wasn't going to bring anything with him that would give him away as the shooter. He probably had plans to take a hand gun and get in that car full of explosives to go do some more damage.

Maybe his plan was to get the tanks to go up forcing people that were fleeing to stop in the street and from there he'd drive right into them and then shoot the tannerite and blow in the midst of a few thousand people.

Not talking about people being shot at
>be me
>be leo
>see tracer rounds
>Oh he's in THAT room

What if some people are unhappy and wish to kill others?

Why can't you fucking normalfags understand this?

Killing people is good. Most people deserve to die. """Conservatives""" are generic retards that loosely practice some religion and push whatever politics their preacher tells them too. They're conserving whatever morals progressives pushed the previous generation.

It would've shown a straight line to his position every time he fired one.

This

He could have killed way more than 59 people if he would have used a higher power rifle like a .308 and taken well aimed single shots.

It would not be hard to take more than 60 well aimed shots in the span of several minutes.

Its amazing how people fall into the same trap, of attempting to rationalize the behavior of a mad man.

There is nothing to understand, whatever "planning" he did was in the context of a lunacy.

Like stopping for the enchilida recipe, or having drinks right before you decide to murder innocent people. Not normal well though out things.

More than likely he had a form of degenerative dementia, given his family history, he was in the later stages.

He seemed like a real prick, and probably fantasized about killing people for a long time, dementia kicks, loss of inhibition and he finally goes through with it.

Classic case.

Why not do it on the roof? He'd be caught in a room or on the roof, but why in a room, when it is common knowledge is you break glass in vegas security is otw?roof would give a couple seconds bail time. Stupid all around, and bump fire stocks are shit for accuracy. All around a shit show. Who really did this?

How the fuck would you see them? You can't see them if they are being fired in your direction. That's the whole point. To allow YOU to see where your rounds are going without the enemy being able to see where you are.

>he made amateur mistakes
according to who? lolol

You fucking taco jockeys better not be sushiposting in this thread too so help me comp

Checked.
>Bumpfire stocks are very temperamental.
I have used them, they are shit and will beat the hell out of your sights and any indents with weak springs. Also, the fire rate will slow when the riffle gets hot.

He would've been a lot more visible from the ground and a helicopter could've taken him out.

As far as mass shooters go, booking a room overlooking a large crowd is advanced planning.

really, you think the plan was all wrong?

>wanted the recipe for later
Lmao idiot read your first post. You underestimated him because he was old alcoholic and on meds.
He would have walked right past you on the street and you would have never known. According to you he couldn't even do what he did.

Get out here kiddo.

Maybe he accidentally shot himself when he was planning on escaping, so he finished himself off since he knew he was done for in that condition, that would explain the 2 pistol shots that were heard and the getaway car.

He didn't know how to clear a fucking jam.

Using a bump stock at all.
