The Road to Raqqa. YPG fighters, medics & European volunteers on ISIS frontline
The road to ISIS’ self-proclaimed capital, Raqqa, has been long and hard. The battle rages in the suburbs of the Syrian city. Improvised explosive devices, suicide bombers, sniper fire and grenade-dropping drones have been deployed by the surrounded terrorists.
This film features the stories of fighters in the Kurdish People Protection Units (YPG), as well as European volunteers who joined them. There are also stories of military hospital staff. Dr. Akhiv, a veteran military doctor considers his work a “sacred calling.” Adham, a frontline nurse, joined the field hospital after his brother was killed fighting ISIS. Sema, a Kurdish female commander, left her family to join the fight. “We’re not fighting for a certain nation. Humanity is what we’re fighting for,” she says.
Some Europeans have joined the YPG as volunteers. Rosa left a mundane life in Sweden to fight for women’s rights in Syria. Robin, a volunteer from Germany, got sick of hearing how “someone should do something about” ISIS after every terrorist attack in Europe. He left his girlfriend and a comfortable life to do something about them himself.
Straight from Russia's english language propaganda outlet. Just starting to watch it, no idea if its good.

4th US soldier killed following ambush in Niger
A fourth US soldier is confirmed to have died during an October 4 ambush in the African country of Niger. Local residents found the body near the site of the ambush in Niamey, the country’s capital. It was initially not clear whether the soldier was killed, captured or had been separated from his colleagues during the attack. The US currently has around 800 troops based in Niamey, the New York Times reported, according to an unnamed American military official. US and Nigerian forces were engaging in a joint patrol in the southwest region of the country when they were attacked. It was first reported that there were three US Army Special Forces deaths and two injuries. (New York Times) archive.is/cynby

guys i think assad may get recked still. following the latest news i see SAA reacts very awful to sukhnah attack and quraytayn and after many months of bombing jobar they still cant even take that. saa is slowly losing all its soldiers from fighting isis and the rebels.
the rebels in idlib are now getting many new soldiers from turkey so it will be much harder for the saa to fight them.
assad is fucked, and if saa wins, it will be a pyrrhic victory

US lifts sanctions against Sudan in exchange for halt on N. Korea arms deal talks
US-imposed economic and trade sanctions against Sudan will come to an end on October 12 after President Donald Trump issued a decree Friday. The sanctions had cut Sudan off from much of the global financial community. The policy shift follows a 16-month diplomatic effort. US officials cited improvements by the country’s government in the areas of counter-terrorism and access to humanitarian aid as reasons for lifting the sanctions. Officials in Sudan’s capital city of Khartoum also agreed not to pursue an arms deals with North Korea, as the sanctions are lifted. However, some sanctions will remain, and the country will continue to be on the US state sponsors of terrorism list. Being on this list means there are restrictions on aid that can be delivered to the country, as well as a total ban on weapons sales. The US State Department first placed the sanctions on Sudan in 1997. (Al Jazeera) archive.is/jfx7H

I think saudi arabia is planning for a war, considering their new purchase of the THAAD system (15bn dollars) with the USA and a 3bn dollars arms deal with Russia.
Who are they going to attack? Qatar? Iran?

Apparently the king wants Putin to support his son,so he gave him this deal. They must've also talked about raising the price of oil. That is, for the arab petrol mafia to hold back on sales for a while so demand does its job.
