Was punpun schizophrenic?

Was punpun schizophrenic?

Was Shimizu a genius?

Probably Asbergers mixed with depression.

...

What makes you say aspergers?

It's more likely he was Bi-polar. His mood swings, particular depression, and delusions of grandeur all fit the profile. He had a lot of shit happen to him too but that could only worsen his condition.

Was seki the best character?

Are you retarded?

No it didn't. Bi polar "mood swings" aren't as shallow and quick as something causing you a sudden self doubt. It's just depression with social anxiety or mild autism.

It's just that I know a guy with aspergers and he doesn't remind me of punpun at all. Punpun has way more consideration and understanding of social norms than that guy and he has more emotions too.

Explain the delusions then.

Sorry if I hurt your feelings by comparing you to Punpun.

Nah senpai, I would consider myself a lot like punpun, but I'm wildly neurological on the autism spectrum. I just have some of dat there depression.

>neurological
I meant neurotypical. I need to go to sleep. Those quads tho

It's more like assburgers, not aspergers.

Honestly it's just high IQ in a household with little love or emotional connection + a social environment with no acquaintances of a similar constitution to form sincere friendships, and then getting struck by the self-awareness of puberty and the feedback loop of depression. There's a reason so many people on Sup Forums find the story oddly relatable.

which? it's been awhile since I read it

save my OC

Namely the God delusion. It happens to him throughout his life so it's not a fantasy of a child. We could call it symbolism but for a manga as cerebral as Punpun that would be selling our analysis short.

>a manga as cerebral as Punpun
I think you're selling it long. It's just a trope

So your position is to dismiss it outright and say that even though he had a mental illness this wasn't part of it because symbolism. I guess that's your opinion but it's shallow.

Not that guy, but it's not really a trope that your uncle taught you how to literally summon god

I don't really remember the relevance to the story. It's been years

Didn't he end up meeting him irl in some magic cult or something

LOL no. You should really re-read it. The relevance was that "god" was like this itching voice in the back of his head telling him all the bad thought he was trying to not think. He was basically there to speak for punpun's primal desires and whatnot.

No. That was Seki and the cult was actually an alternate shounen story where they battled the Darkness off screen. It was the most disappointing thing about the manga because I had to read the point of it in an interview with Inio. Very disappointing,

>tfw pun pun will never get a big-budget 4 season fully orchastrated anime that ends up being one of the greatest and most popular shows of all time forcing Sup Forums to denounce it on the basis of it's popularity

why even try

Evry time you post a picture from punpun, i think about its ending. It was so depressing...

With berserk getting a post golden age arc anime anything is possible man.

I thought the whole "dark spot" thing was pretty obvious. I think you just didn't like it so you didn't pay attention to it as much. Granted it wasn't as good as what was going on in the other parts of the Manga at the same time. The dark spot was a real thing though and they did really save the world.

i would rather die than see what happened to beserk happen to punpun

im not a weeb, punpun just helped me through some tough times in my life

why are you trying to ruin punpun with an anime adapation that is going to end up shit? fuck off cucks

That just sounds like id. and I don't think I will, punpun was one of asano's worse

but like
what if
not shit

no possible way to turn a manga like punpun into a decent anime. see: aku no hana

i think if Satoshi Kon was still alive he could have done it

I understand and feel the same
