I am in the process of joining the Greek Orthodox Church after spending about 4 years as a Catholic. I have noticed that my journey is fairly common among Orthodox converts: I flirted with Traditionalist Catholicism for a while, but after wrestling with various Trad schools of thought, I came to the conclusion that the problem with modern Catholicism is the papacy itself, and that led me to Orthodoxy.
