There's nothing crazy about it. A3 cast is good.

Because each of the routes was larger than normal normal ones and each route had side romances. Like in Ootome's you could take Haru's route and Riinchu had the option of a short Kousonshou route.

Nothing really. It's just that Ootome is a pretty normal girl, there's no big epic fights and no crazy twists. It's more slice of life with comedy. I enjoyed it more than Sayaka's route, due to the 10 Warriors, but other than that it wasn't great.

She's more like Benkei, only she enjoys playing video games instead of drinking Kawakami Water and is a loli instead of having seaweed for hair. She ends up joining the lazy club with Yamato, Benkei and Beard-sensei.

Benkei's at least had the cool match with Yamato's mom and Nabeshima. Ootomo's doesn't really have that.

Of all the routes it's the closest to Sayaka's. if you hated Sayaka's route (and from what people on here have said, many think it's the worst) then you probably won't enjoy Ootome's outside of some of the 10 Warrior interactions. I expect to see lots of Ootome "worst girl" shitposting on here when A-4 gets translated.

I guess I have to play the Sayaka route to have a bit of an impression then. The only thing I really only like about Ootome is her design. Would be a shame to see such a cute character go to waste with a boring route, but I hope I at least get something from it.

You might feel sorry for people who bought it, but it was well-likedl enough that there were many requests for Minatosoft to make another sequel.

The "main" route was shit and Maru-san and Kokoro routes were disappointment, but other than that it's quite good.

Well Kyouki's, Monshiro's routes and some of the afters were good.

Call it rebellion route or Agave of S route, but as Kuyuki's route it is an absolute shit.

S wasn't that bad, introduced a lot of new people and some of the most popular characters. It's just that being a sequel, the plot is going to suffer.

Just in case you didn't notice, the series mostly still takes place in 2009. There's been no character progression for the guys ever since Agave and the other guys haven't changed one bit, they aren't getting girls for the exact same reason they didn't get them 7 years ago and because of the whole multiple route system works, they aren't going to get any in anything but a major time skip. Azumi's route was really the last chance they had at scoring somebody

They are purposely written to have those flaws for comparison sake and that's not going to change. They don't look for a meaningful relationship so they aren't going to get one

There's nothing wrong with hooking up with a younger woman.

Every character should have flaws. That doesn't preclude them from doing anything. There's plenty of stories where the maturation comes after the relationship, and that makes for an interesting take too.

But even earnest characters, like Gen or Hideo, get nothing either. To be fair, that's understandable. The minute you add in a pretty girl that MC CAN'T fuck, the community goes into an uproar.

Nor do I care for one of these characters to be the protagonist. It could be someone new. The point is that the universe is interesting, and it'd be nice to see it through someone else's eyes for once.

Once Momoyo loses and gets serious about training, mastering her fundamentals, etc, rather than relying on a few super OP abilities, Tsubame wouldn't be able to beat her anymore.

Hume took his time and taught her a bunch of techniques. He also intentionally drew out the fight in order to help her learn them. He also made it clear early on in S that his strength was primarily based around instantaneous fighting and that the longer a fight lasted the weaker he'd become.

That wasn't a fight about defeating Momoyo, it was about helping her grow - if he'd been serious she would have been defeated in the first minute.

I think Haou could defeat Momoyo, assuming that she had combat training - she's one of the strongest characters in the series (one of the only ones to get Hume's approval) and that's with absolutely zero training or combat knowledge. If she even just had some half-assed training she'd probably be a decent match for Momoyo. And with serious training she'd have the capability to defeating Momoyo.

Completly forgot about Haou, I think that Momo and her would be on equal level if they train hard enough.
