I simply love the sound of violins, I started noticing them with the Ys soundtrack, and always wanted to learn how to play, but it's a pretty expensive instrument, and I'm not really in touch with music so idk.

You can still learn to play, and it will be great in slowing down your brain decay. It will also bring you lots of pleasure and satisfaction. You might never be good enough to play at concerts or in a (good) jazz band, but you can still derive a lot of pleasure and sense of accomplishment from playing the piano. Believe in yourself user!

It's very difficult, but you could teach yourself over the course of several months as long as you practice an hour a day or so and can read music
