I just saw this movie and I'm over here to tell you that it's not at all what you think.
People of colour, and Muslims in particular, have actually played an integral role in shaping the Britain that we know today.
The movie portrays the relationship between Queen Victoria and her close friend and adviser, Abdul Karim. Abdul is a religious Muslim and because of the Islamophobia and racism that used to exist in England, their friendship was frowned upon.
But after learning more about the Quran, Victoria came to realise the foolishness of demeaning others on the basis of skin color, and Abdul even helped the queen in making many important decisions.
I just wanted to say that I think Sup Forums is wrong and I'm glad that these stories are being told. Take that as you will.
I've seen it too. Judi Dench is firm and acting strong in those one too, all though i liked her more in the "The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel". It is quite interesting to see how the lived and thought in Victorian era England!
ALL maritime societies are cucked and matriarchal. It’s why Britain and the Netherlands have always had Queens while Prussia never did. When most of the men are gone at sea for years at a time the women start running society back at home. The sailors turn into faggots and the lonely women turn into butch dykes or start fucking the nigger servants. It’s also why British women are so hideously ugly, men don’t care what their wives look like if they only have to see them once every couple of years.
