Unable to confess, he is gifted with by a deus ex machina with the girl's phone number. Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls her, and is overjoyed to find out that she has a crush on him as well.

But, the next day, when he recounts the previous day's confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. She is the girl's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC's own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.

Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE.

Harem anime where one dude is in a polyamorous relationship with 5 other girls.
They all end up cheating on him for varying reasons and the carnal nature of this culture is exposed.

Anime takes place in a fantasy setting where magic is heavily regulated and militarized. For this reason, the armies of countries and empires compose of small elite forces of mages.

The story starts with a rather peculiar character who claims she can predict the future and tells one of the main characters his prophecy. The prophecy is vague but also references the fate of other characters around this main character, some of which he has not met yet.

It is hinted that the empire of which the main character hails from will fall due to the spiraling actions of notable individuals.

In another corner of the world, a necromancer learns to create humans from corpses. He maintains full control over these minions until one decides to disobey him.

Through the militarization of undead, an aristocratic conspiracy, betrayal of one of the elite mages, the introduction of an unknown third party instigating conflict and terrorizing, and the discovery of a frightening lost history the prophecy seems to become more and more true.

The anime deals with the difficulties between responsibility and passion, the concept of free will, and determinism.

A ~30 year old man, sick of life and filled with regret, decides to throw himself off the local super-mall. Instead of his entire life flashing before his eyes, there is instead a rune burned into his consciousness. He wakes up on top of the building he just threw himself from, at exactly the moment before he jumped. Not one to quit so easily, he attempts suicide again, just to end up in the same situation.
He comes to the realization that he cannot die, instead being returned to the same spot on top of the mall. As a result, he decides to have fun with his newfound immortality.
But, every time he dies, a cloud appears in the sky above him and a few people disappear from the streets below. He doesn't notice at first, until the clouds start blocking sun and the once bustling streets are almost empty. As he dies more and more, it starts to rain, eventually resulting in a torrential downpour that floods the city.
The MC figures out that the only people who don't seem to be disappearing are suicidal ones like himself, and all of them seem to have odd powers in their own right (eg. a girl who can involuntarily see, feel and think from the perspective of those nearby in addition to her own. Previously, she was a sociopath who wanted to kill herself because she couldn't understand people). So, with the help of a motley band of depressed teenagers, homeless alcoholics, bankrupt debtors and forgotten grandparents, the MC sets out to figure out what the fuck happened.
Spoilers, eldritch abominations took an interest in humans and decided to try and solve their problems, starting with those who wanted to kill themselves.

An average unpopular highschool student who's hobby is to watch other people and breaching people's privacy stumble across a harem, where he learned that multiple girls on his class have a crush on one average, but very dense student. At first, he was gonna watch from afar and kind of tried to guess who's gonna won the harem bowl, but he was soon annoyed by the denseness of this harem MC and decided to play things into his own hands. He decided to root for one girl and secretly helps her win the harem bowl. But who can that girl be? He decided that he doesn't care, and pick one by using a coin toss. It was the childhood friend type of girl. So the decision has been made, he sought to help her out secretly, like creating moments where 2 of them could be alone together, spreading rumors to keep the other girls away, and spy on the guy so that he can tell the girl (anonymously) what he likes and don't likes. The girl was worried at first that she received anonymous letter from someone, but soon secretly used that letter to her advantage. That being said she is incredibly shy, and sometimes led to situations where our MC tried his best to lead the horse into the water but cannot make it drink. Due to this, progress was slow, but progress were made nonetheless. Throughout highschool, he's been helping her by spying on her crush. But slowly, he begun to realize that her crush actually has a crush on someone else, someone on their group, part of circle of girls, and even if the childhood girl is getting closer and closer to confess, he knew that it will end in rejection.

And they live happily ever after because the holocaust is made up

A Mecha series where the mechs themselves gain sentience and rebel against the humans, resulting in a massive war.

Is there a character in the series that tries to go Shadow of the Collosus on them and take them apart from the inside?

A harem series from the perspective of a group of girls that half genuinely like the boy they're chasing after, and half see him as a sort of fuckboi trophy. The series is them treating their attempts to woo him as a decathlon.

Only works if the dude notices it midway and misleads them. But I don't know if anyone wants to see a usual harem lead suddenly gain smarts and trick his haremettes.
