Behind blue eyes.

Much better times than this.

the entire rock/metal music was subversion - rebellion against traditional values and society. look where it's gotten us.

Mixed bag. I had a ton of fun playing Diablo 2 and Starcraft but it seemed I was always getting in trouble. Puberty was a crazy time.

...

music sucked backed then compared to 2016-2017

limp bizkit were red pilled as fuck

youtube.com/watch?v=Q3SFdRqDrfM

90's were better, 9/11 really fucked everything up good

good old days.

miss my blackberry with the little clit in the middle.

2016-2017? I only like Selena Gomez's "It Ain't Me". 2000's had much better music like "That's What Girls Do" by No Secrets, "Fat Lip" by blink-182, and "Glamorous" by Fergie, and some other song by Fefe Dobson.

Now this is what it's like when worlds collide!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dotcom crash, 9/11, neocons running rampant, shitty late-90s pop culture hanging around and getting even worse. On the other hand: near-zero leftist social engineering in mainstream culture. The far left back then was just some fruitcakes in the Women's Studies departments of liberal arts colleges.

Wow you're a pleb...

Not political. and only one OP post.

Why do people trip fag on an anonymous website? Are you a faggot?

Sorry, I forgot to mention "London Bridge" by Fergie and "Aaron's Party" by Aaron Carter. Sorry.

i dont i just keep ROLLN ROLLN ROLLN

Oh yeah and that Fefe Dobson song I was thinking of was "Don't Let It Go To Your Head", so I think I'm more cultured now.

I've been doing it for the better part of 12 years so it's probably time to get over it.

Bunch of idiots on Wall Street were getting rich while pushing the world's economy to the edge of a cliff

Oh yeah and I also like "Garbage" by When I Grow Up, but I don't think that's 00's.

I was in high school, then college. I was a Republican George W supporter, then a true believer in the cult of Austrian Economics. I'm fucking ashamed.

daily reminder

Since we're on the subject, how will me look at the 2000s a long time from now? What will it be best remembered for? What's the first thing that will pop in people's heads when they think of this decade? For example

>9/11
>Iraq/Afghanistan War
>Recession
>Hurricane Katrina
>Tsunami in SE Asia

not as good as the 1930's

2001-2016 was awful.

BATTER UP

what?

...

yes, you've been a faggot since the day you were born, we get it
but there's a whole community of people like you, and it's called reddit

Ahhh, the music....
Hip-Hop had been destroyed by 2pac, who was a flaming homosexual paid by a psychopath to fetishize prison nigger culture. Master P made a, literally retarded song, that sounds retarded and was for retards. DMX was gay and you had a bunch of fat guys who really kickstarted the bling, dress and affect culture so prevalent in Hip Hop.
Alternative music had been overwhelmed by either Sugar ray and Smashmouth or Limp Bizkit and Korn.

>mfw worst girl

It was dope, yo. Except for that 9/11 shit, yo. Keep rollin rollin rollin.

damn Fred likes best girl.

Where it all went wrong

objectively correct
the best kind of correct

No it wasn't it also had In Too Deep by Simple Plan.
Taylor Swift's worst girl, she destroyed music like Fergie and No Secrets and blink-182 and Fefe Dobson and Len

Is that Fred from the band Soggy Triscut?

Fat Lip was a good song from the era

ARE YOU READY TO GO

>tfw ywn never ever ;;

that time when we didn't notice the world falling out from under us even though it was plainly obvious.

get upset on the internet my dude

...

>Austrian Economics
You read Antiwar.Com on the reg, didn't you- thas how you got redpilled, Justin Raimondo... Daniel Pouzzner...?

Yeah I agree blink was one of my favorite bands

the overwhelming majority of this board aren't qualified to speak on the overwhelming majority of topics, including the early 2000's.

That song sucks because it showed me my childhood was over

Shittiest cover ever.

Cringe worthy, glad it's over let's never go back

Fat Lip Was Sum41, niglet

>a game from the 90's
You have to be at least 18 to use this site jr.

Malibu’s Most Wanted is a great fucking movie. I don’t care what anybody says.

oh sry i just don't remember i ate a lot of liverwurst and if i eat too much salt i don't remember good

It came out in the early 2000s I can guarantee it. Like 2000 or 2001. The first THPS came out in the 90s. Who’s the Jr now?

>taylor swifts worst girl
wat

I have no bone in this dog, I mean flight in this fight I mean bog in muh dome but I just swung by to call you a faggot.

>posts worst girl
Asuka is best eva girl. The end.

It was shit. It's all been shit for a long time. Not even the fucking 90s were that great outside of "much childhood" nostalgia.

Reading The Nation because Christopher Hitchens was an occasional contributor. What a fool I was.

Actually it's 2. It is political, the thread is about cultural and social trends.

I'm more referencing the whole wigger phase.

I remember growing up we nicknamed Dave Baksh (sum 41 guitarrist or whatever) "the poo".

We were still normal but 9/11 and the following wars definitely destroyed our psyche and got Obama in office.

I was in middle school, high school and early college through the 90s and we knew then we had it too good one way or another, in fact a lot of popular music dealt with the decay, decadence and some sort of wreckoning we all assumed was coming for the year 2000.

Boy did it come.

I miss them 2bh, but I have good memories all through my life, even during the past 7 years too, while all the political shit going on.

The best part of the early 2000s was being able to wear a velour tracksuit without anyone batting an eye

Those were good, comfy times

The year 2006 was the peak of Pax Americana, fresh of it's victory over the Soviet Union. It's been downhill ever since as USA overextended and overplayed it's hand globally while neglecting the inefficiencies and creeping cultural issues at home. The internet was best back then, no normies, no rules, no triggering bullshit.

Well okay maybe she's not the worst girl but I don't like her music because it reminds me of the present day and I don't like today

amen

I remember playing rise of the triad when it came out.. who's jr. now? actually its a dope old school game. you should try it if you haven't.

i miss pre 9/11 america.

youtube.com/watch?v=vRs5gFeVChk&t=288s

there were litterally no women on the internet, and it was glorious.

it was alot more fun
more exciting
life was blast, but it didn't kick my in the ass
actually looked forward to tomorrow
Internet wasn't full of normies

>70s

you could actually share things with a group of friends instead of broadcasting it to the whole world on social media
You had time with people that was more intimate, it would be nice to just be able to share things like that again instead of everything being some shitty internet movement

hows this make you feel, goy?

Checked. Pre-9/11 America was great. Everything just sucked after.

i went with my parents to visit my cousin, and they were always in school later than we were, so he'd sneak me in some times, and i'd sit in class and be like ya i'm a new transfer and shit, and we'd troll his teachers.

but the one day i didn't go, and i sat at his home and played that, cus it had just come out and it was incredible, and there was this super long boring oval track enduro race. but if you won you got a formula 1 race car, dude when he came home and i was murdering races with it, he was like WTF WHERE DID YOU GET THAT. man do i miss those days.

Idk its just that too many people are fighting and it makes me sad i wish we could all get along

I slowly went over to the Raimondo side on foreign policy and on viewing the American right generally. I alos concluded that Mises/Hazlitt rules-utilitarianism wasn't a solid basis to defend European tradition (I loved the Victorians). I went to more culture oriented American rightists, like Chronicles Magazine and Russell Kirk. I was then led to traditional Catholicism, until I concluded it wasn't radical enough, not fascistic and racialist enough. Now I'm in the Evola and Traditionalism camp.

And you?

>How do you look back at the early 2000s now?
it was the absolute height of civilization. a time that had it all, technology, art, culture, prosperous economics, and with nearly none of the racial / social ills we have in our society today (i'm from the US, where multiculturalism, homosexuality and nihilism have taken over).

it was a great time OP and we were all fairly happy and fulfilled, unlike young people today who are all neurotic and fucked up. don't say that to put them down either, i just feel bad for them. wish i could wake them up and make them realize that it's all of this left-wing horseshit that ruined their lives but they never do seem to understand the way things really are the way we did back then.

first girl u ever found cute?
She sucked my cock

Hmm, Donnie Darko was a good thing that came out in the early 2000's, reminds me that Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex started in 2002, I was in highschool at the time.

see

You sound like my kind of person.

i for one laughed

you gotta stop giving a shit about other people like that and just live your life the best you can man. you can help people every day.
