three categories of users:

1) admins/producers
rely on having stable, tractable identities (within reason). these guys/gals rely on people trusting them and their content in order to get paid for their services (whether its hosting services or producing the actual pornography). probably fewer than 1000 of these worldwide, significantly less now

these are the guys/gals that pay producers to produce original content. while they are not as immediately traceable as admins/producers, since they do financially tie themselves to child exploitation, they are slightly more vulnerable than the third category. being able to take over a website and continue hosting it really opens up this group to surveillance because once people invest money into something they start getting dumb about opsec. probably fewer than 20k involved in this. probably many of whom already are on watch lists because they take trips to the phillipines or other child sex trafficking hubs

3) virgin neckbeards who want free gibs
this is the other 980k users (many of which are single-use throwaway accounts). non-communicators, don't participate in the community, don't really contribute except for occassionally reposting shit they downloaded at random. probably claim to be vigilantes IRL, most definitely plan to say they were "investigating" when the FBI knocks on their door (which will get them absolutely nowhere lol)
