BLAME!

Why people say this is the best manga ever and then they cannot explain why it has not a damn plot.

Biomega>Blame.

>they cannot explain why it has not a damn plot.
You need to re-read again.

...

But it has. Fucking speedreaders. It's not like it has much dialogue and yet you still fail.

Is Texhnolyze inspired by Blame!?

Is there a place where it is explained?

Nihei trolls his fans

youtube.com/watch?v=UKXKUT4RWN4

Of course it has a plot. You're just too big of a pleb to get it.

Have you tried searching it in the Sup Forumsrchive?

The main inspiration for the aesthetics of Texhnolyze is the work of Edward Hopper, with some of the scenes from the surface being almost iddentical replicas os his paintings.

Yeah, and people are gonna yell at me for posting it because 'wahhh disagree with quarter of sentence'. If you want to know specific stuff that isn't covered in here, just ask.

Then there's also a poor translation of Nihei's Blame artbook, which may lend you some aid:
randomisgod.com/blame/Artbook82.html

>Edward Hopper
SOOO?

Please learn basic English before posting again. Alternatively, lurk a whole lot more.

I don't know if it's inspired by Blame. Blame ended at the year where Texhnolyze began to air.

Is the end similar to Texhnolyze?
People die, right?

only your brain cells

No. They aren't similar at all.
BLAME has a positive ending, Texhnolyze not.

Is the juicy girl shown in the trailer this ?

holy shit go away with your texhnolyze
more like
techno-lies
lmao

more seriously, just read the fuckin manga if you want to know that
or read my post
whatever, your deal, your life

kek

But it is to image Tex as a prequel to Blame and vice versa, and Ichise as human Killy

Blame>Biomega>Sidonia
but I love them all

What the actual fuck are you talking about?

Nearly the exact same plot of matrix and somehow people get confused.

Sidonia S01 was good... then it came S02 which is a moefag anime

What the fuck are you talking about? In Tex every dies in the end, it's nihilistic as fuck. It's literally the end.

BLAME is about Killy stopping a sort of instrumental convergence, and he succeeds in the end.

Some plot of matrix?
But it came first

How is he trolling? He describes both mangas exactly as they are.

Plot is really simle desu, MC (Kili) is searching for Net Terminal Genes.

>grimaces

Not, not even close.

Matrix is 1999's stuff...
Blame is 1996

>top tier art
>dope atmosphere
>goat world building
>great action
>interesting story and lore

There, I just explained it to ya.

But all the pages seem disconnected

would you like me to write a panel by panel explanation of every single page in the manga

cus, you know, that's what you're asking for

Your brain seems to be disconnected.

Is this Hopper enough?

It does have a seemingly fragmented plot yes. But overall I think it goes something like this:

At some point in the city's history, the governing authority was ordered to eliminate all non-human life forms. Human life eventually evolved or was genetically altered by a virus which drive to city to try to eliminate all it's inhabitants. To stop this, killy looks for a sample of pure human DNA in order to connect to the city network (called the net sphere) in order to stop the purge.

That's the overall plot.

Also the Killy character himself seems to be a re-programmed agent of city, kind of like the terminator.

still nihei respect the matrix to the point of doing a homage
in the form of Morpheus as a Governing Agent in NOiSE

You should read NOiSE first...then all is clear
It's matrix 2.0+ 20th century boys

>the one chapter that doesn't fit in with the others

vaguely close but no

so Killy is a terminator?

>still nihei respect the matrix to the point of doing a homage
>in the form of Morpheus as a Governing Agent in NOiSE
You've still got a hell of a lot to see

LOL Morpheus is on NOiSE? kek

who takes the red pill?

Read slowly, pay attention and use your brain. Blame! consists mostly of visual story telling, it gives you fragments through dialogue, and shows you most of the things. Piece them togheter, and you'll figure it out.

The outside world is pretty fancy

Is this from NOiSE?

Basically Killy is looking for the genetic password to enter the matrix, but they cant control the safeguards though.
Isnt that just about it, explained to a complete faggot, that is?

no

So the last chapter is the matrix?

Btw, Cibo uses the Matrix many times

Yes, how does this resemble the plot of the matrix at all?

The matrix is about the robots enslaving and controlling the humans both inside and outside the matrix. And the series ends with the robots and humans coming to a cease fire.

BLAME is about trying to stop the chaotic growth of the City.

is the growth of the city bad?

Its not that the plot resembles the matrix its that it can be used as a metaphor to explain it to retards.
Net sphere = matrix
The City = IRL
Safeguards = the robots

Im not saying it draws a paralel but a resemblence between the forces in play. Of course each party has a different mission and motivations, but if you were to explain it to a faggot, wouldnt that be somewhat of a passable way of doing it?

And how about the fairy world in the last chapters?

Also silicon life is similar to agent smith.

Are you telling me Larry e Andy Wachowski stole the matrix idea from Nihei?

There is nothing new under the sun.
Every story is "stolen" from another.

is that the real world?

It's out of control. Basically nobody is in charge of any of the cities systems. That includes the safeguard.
wasn't this whole situation is referred to as the chaos?

>Its not that the plot resembles the matrix
>Nearly the exact same plot of matrix
...

But yes if you put it that way. But you have to be on another level of dumb to not understand that.

Yeah, that's a virtual world.

I can't believe this thread is actually happening
shut the fuck up about your matrix nonsense

Oh...i see... the internet! a funny place

i thought it was the surface

Ah no wait. That was indeed the surface. I thought you were referring to something else.

What? I am even more confused now

Is that the surface or the matrix?

I thought all the story from log 1 to log 65 was just a dream of that girl

this is the surface
everyone shut the hell up

THAT is not actually THE matrix (the net sphere). It's a virtual world were she has been "backed up" or something like that.

At the end of the manga it is Killy who reaches the surface. see this Anyway just read this It's been a while since i read blame.

So Killy get it there only when he died

killy didn't die

Abara>orther one shot>first haft of sidonia>biomega>blame> last chapters of sidnia

Yes he did?

>blame! animated movie

where have you been yesterday

no; shut the hell up

what happened? is there a trailer?

>that subtle toha heavy industries sweater

it's moefag movie

youtube.com/watch?v=JHplmh_R3zU

is this from the Sidonia special

terrible ffs

no; shut the hell up

LOL that's just a special indeed...Killy DIED

...

blame^2 is just a spin off

what the fuck is your problem

Have you seen the last pages of the volume 10?

No. He wants to stop the City from auto-building. It's near Jupiter's orbit by now.

i have read every thing
still waiting for the reprint to reread

Have you?

>near Jupiter's orbit
no
here's Killy walking through where Jupiter *was*, thousands of years prior

randomisgod.com/blame/Artbook82.html
>This world extends to approximately the outer edge of the solar system.

That's clearly not related to the plot...

>You say you don’t enjoy coming up with the people, but are there any characters you’re particularly fond of?

>Nihei: That would be Killy, the main character in Blame!. He’s my ideal character: strong, refuses to die. All of my protagonists have turned out to be immortal, actually.

I've stopped caring, kill yourself if you don't get it at this point
you shouldn't be alive
saging cancer thread

Okay one last thing...should I read NOiSE or Blame first?
Or Narutaru/Shadow Star?

narutaru first
it is god tier

you won't fully understand Noise without Blame, and you won't fully understand Blame without Noise
just read Blame first like everyone else

Just noticed they are releasing these two spiffed of collections of BLAME! (pic related) not far off from one another. My question is, is that are these just re-releases of the first two volumes size and everything, or are these books much larger and cover more grown?

Because I own three of the volumes already, thought about starting up my collection again until I noticed these master editions. It seems like a silly thing to ask overall but I gotta make sure.

Narutaru's mid-tier Kitoh at best, he let himself indulge in the edge too much rather than focusing it. Bokurano is god tier.

...

So this is what I've read after all.
