THE SKIES ARE CLEAR

NOW IS THE TIME TO ATTACK

Christ, I actually remember watching that program when I was a kid.

must been good times user shit was better back then.

I will have an update on the blog later today for those who want the cheapest HF receiver kit to listen from home without the website (SDR radios, software and antennas).

I'll have 3 different price ranges, with the cheapest being under $100 (hopefully). Still researching.

On the websdr from twente what is the signal just above the 11175khz signal? Telemetry of some kind?

>All stations, all stations!
What does he mean by this?

Coded chatter on 11175

there was a lot of activity yesterday but now it's pretty dead

if nothing happens this week then nthoing

space god?!

Space god?

SPACE GUN?

"All stations please stand by and do not transmit while I send my message to XXXXX unless you have priority traffic (a Skyking call or a Flash call)."

This stuff is interesting. Is this the sort of thing that scrambles the bombers to nuke the Commies?

its space gun

In part, we believe so. Skip to 11:40 youtube.com/watch?v=k4mkSCVZ0Ec

You'll actually hear them make a Skyking call during this sequence.

The activity this morning was quite intense with callsign space gun. digital transmissions on EAM frequencies; Maybe linked to a down S26 or S36 in Syria.

But there is no way for us civilians to tell between the "lets fuck shit up" call and the "your missus said to get milk on the way home" call?

Oh fuck, I didn't see this when I scrolled through the catalog. I just made a new thread. oops

Weather is very bad this night/early morning.

We have french shit on 8992

Not so much, no. We just add this to our pile of clues with the other things we notice.

It will be on the skykingradio and memefeng dot blogspot

that's what i was thinking

At around 2:00am EST the area should be clear of precip and minimal cloud cover.

french navy / some branch who do long distance fligh control for our military planes. yesterday they were communicating with a plane in Irak that was supposed to do a Bagda Erbil flight. No fighters.
thanks

Neat. I didn't know they used the same freq as the US

What are all these beeps

This is It! SPACE GUN (space god) Cause a god, is above a king; and space is above the sky. But weapons don't prejudice, so it became "gun". Blame the atheists for not hearing the apocalyptic warning of space god.

WH press briefing in just a while. enjoy the show!

You have it set up wrong, check the first reply.

Some asshole decided to do fucking ionospheric testing on our 8992 frequency.

>Google "skyking"
>find a terrible r*ddit copypasta
Why is this allowed?

Here we go again, boys.

Because some people won't let us gas reddit

...

Is Hambro online yet?

O shit. DARKSTAR NOVEMBER is on there.

Sounds like a Finnish Black Metal band.

8892 sounds like a distress signal

SHYKING SKYING MAYDAY!!! I CAN'T HEAR YOU. THIS IS OSCAR 1578 MAYDAY CALLING FOR WHAT'S GOING ON IN TODAYS WORLD

quite fucking literally one of the few threads on Sup Forums based IN reality

I would have never thought about getting into HAM if it wasn't for Sup Forums. The loser I have become.....

Just wait until you get your first long path QSL from some station in a Siberian village. It will all be worth it.

Or maybe when you're relaying messages for FEMA/Red Cross in and out of a disaster zone that has no other forms of communication save for a grizzled old dude on 20 meters with a generator.

U2s from 70 000 feet. Beautiful picture.

Does anyone know how "long" your view is from 70 000 feet? Let us say from the DMZ, how long in to DPRK could you see?

or doing security for richard spencer in DC with a memefeng

ive heard U2s don't even need to leave international airspace anymore with the cameras they got now

chatter about some phone number on 11175

I'm not doing the trigonometry on that one. You are on your own there.

phone patch, sucks about static these are usually interesting

One of the Reach transport craft looking for a phone patch by the looks.

yeah the originating call sounded a tad-bit frantic...could hear a sense of urgency in the voice. Did not get a audio clip.

What are phone patches? new to this stuff

k3fef.com:8901/ is in PA and since it's much closer to the signals, they should come in better.

(Your IP is exposed and cannot be hidden on this site.)

it's for phone addiction

but them on your arm and catch a buzz

The aircraft is asking to have the ground station radio connected to a telephone to make a phone call.

Plane calls mainsail (ground stations) and asks them to patch a phone call for them.

It's usually Reach (RCH) transport planes. They also call up for radio checks a lot.

if someone on a plane far away needs to do a phone call, for example to an hotel or the manufacturer of the plane, for out of the book maintenance; Plane will request air base "please i want to make a call to ....." and air base will patch him through. OC it's clear in the air so no sensitive army shit there.

when a plane needs to talk to a airport usually but is out of range with the other radio shit, they use long distance HF and 11175/8992 radio operators to call the airport number for them

better audio quality phone patches i have recorded during /skg/ threads

youtube.com/watch?v=JreVT2ln2Ik

youtube.com/watch?v=g5sfIqZ2Ol8

one of those is a call about a landing gear warning light

we wuz sky kangs my nigga!!!!!

Thank you

There is actually a simplified formula, which has a bunch of assumptions and ignores many real life factors.

d = sqrt(13*h)

d=distance in km
h=altitude in meters

70 000 feet = 21 336 meters

d = sqrt (13*21336)
d = 526 km.

Its my day off, lets get /comfy/ boys

Phone patch on 8992.00

Can someone tell me how to listen to Sky Kings?
