When is KyoAni doing its own Carnival Phantasm?
When is KyoAni doing its own Carnival Phantasm?

Kill yourself for actually wanting a mash-up of these shitty characters.
I like all those shows.
This is what I wanted Free to be, essentially the guys from Haruhi, Hyouka, Tamako Market and Chu2 doing cute things.
You're the mash-up of shitty characters.
Aside from free, those have great characters.
Will the deaf girl be in this year poster?
Most likely. Kyoani owns the anime
When it gets better than shaft. But I doubt that'll happen.
Literally no one cares about Shaft.
Here's your (you).
When it actually makes a show that is interesting and not just high budget pandering to sweaty neckbeards and xenophobic japanese manchildren
With you on their dick, they don't need to get up and go make one to get you on it, so you have to get off it first.
But that'll never happen.
KyoAni shows have below average budget.

nice
This.
You know there are shows that pander to you but are interesting. I'm not against KyoAni but a lot of their shows, at least post 2010 are beautiful and well-directed but I can't shake this feeling that they're all pretty much similar one way or another. If they were making a new series, I can immediately tell it's made by them. Although Koe no Katachi looks good as hell.
They all have a distinct art style that's recognizable as KyoAni. That's where the similarity ends though.
They do tend to have a similar feel, yet somehow they still feel distinct.
Takemoto's shows tend to feel slightly more plot heavy, and Yamada's are more centered around character interactions. Ishihara seems to favor comedy. Ishidate hasn't done much directing, but Kyoukai no Kanata was very atmosphere heavy and had a good choice of colors.
However its that similar Kyoani feel that makes their more lowbrow stuff like Phantom World enjoyable to me.
Ishidate is very good.
His Phantom World episode was great and easily my favorite episode of the show.
Really looking forward to VEG
He did two eps in Phantom World, 4 and 11.
>Really looking forward to VEG
Me too, I'm most excited for it out of their lineup.
Oh shit, you're right.
I was speaking of episode 4, but episode 11 was also one of my favorites.
And he did 11 with Yoshida as scriptwriter. I hope they get paired together for a TV series in the future.
