Relativity equations are used to predict position, velocity, and time of a particle. In the case of special relativity, speed is relative to a light (constant) and time is dilated. The primes represent different reference frames for a particular variable.

Those are radial relativity equations. Not sure what he's trying to figure out exactly. They're kind of trajectory equation, but superimposed.
This is Lagrangian mechanics, a graduate level physics course. He's taking infinitesimal variations into effect, and not assuming constants. It's very nice, but whomever wrote this had a background in calculus of variations, which requires 3 courses of calculus, 1 course of differential equations, and one course of partial differential equations to get into. This isn't something you can just master from watching a few youtube videos.
