Did the Germans really see the Poles as subhumans, because on this thread, some German historian comes on and says that all of the anti-slav stuff were lies, and starts posting info. It's all in German but could anyone help translate?

The documents are legit, but I dont know the broad context of the event, maybe they did it to avoid problems with the Italian Army reassembling under the republic at Salò.
The german army had a very strict comportament code, this is not new.

As it concerns the lebensraum, it's the same for england, france, spain, usa and russia.
These countries in the previous century expanded as much as they could.
Manifest destiny, israel, commonwealth, kazan coloniz are all lebensraum forms.

You have to think about the notion that the territory from lodz to manchuco was (and it is today) VERY scarsely populated, while germany had a huge overpopulation issue.
They had in mind to move the population towards east like the founding fathers in 1790 towars california.
This DOESNT MEAN that all the slavs would have been killed. This is just absurd, soviet propaganda.

>This DOESNT MEAN that all the slavs would have been killed. This is just absurd

In most of those other states, absolutely, providing you utterly cucked yourself to the colonizing force.

Do you really think Slavs would have just buckled and started sucking German cock for the rest of their days?

Of course there would have been death on a gargantuan scale.

He's using a typical tactic of German revisionists, namely:

1. Cites shit from earlier periods as representative. Truth is, Nazi ideologues were making shit up as they went, and there were no official plans for mass extermination until 1941. OF COURSE documents from before 1941 are going to show there was no policy for mass extermination. Duh.

2. Ignores German mentality. You see, German-run extermination was not like an angry mob. Shit was meticulously planned, and executed according to the plan. Say that there was an order to execute some prisoners on Tuesday. A trigger-happy guard kills some on Monday. Of course he's getting court martialled for not following the order. Does the court martial prove that there was no order to execute on Tuesday?

3. Cites shit from different place as representative. Behavior of German troops in Western Europe (including Italy) and Eastern Europe was radically different.

Doesn't matter. Hitler could ally with Poles just fine and could order their mass executions too. It all depended on the situation. We can post thousand of quotes from his books, speeches etc. and none of them would offer definitive answer.
In 1939 Kesserling said something like "your enemies are not humans only Germans are humans" so this this kind of dismissing attitude was a standard.

This picture speaks volumes.

> This DOESNT MEAN that all the slavs would have been killed.

What the fuck was this then: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Expulsion_of_Poles_by_Nazi_Germany

Oh. Sorry. Technically you are right. Not all would be killed just some 90% of them.

> inb4 Generalplan Ost was fake because it never left the planning stage

> Nazi ideologues were making shit up as they went,
>, German-run extermination was not like an angry mob. Shit was meticulously planned
are you even aware when writing shit? stupid pole

Again, using picture from 1935 to (mis)represent a policy in 1942-44.

kek

As my fellow Slav said, while Hitler evidently had some level of respect for Pilsudski, it was just due to the fact that the Marshal kicked the living fuck out of the commies. Hitler wanted the Poles gone, something in his orders during the invasion to be to 'close your hearts to pity'.
Wow, a Panamanian not realizing what the hell is being said. The Nazis were making shit up as they went, but when they came up with shit, they meticulously planned it (See: Wannsee Conference).

My grandmother was employed by German administration. Saw shit first hand. Fuck off halfwit.

He respected him for being an old Austrian officer and commie remover from 1920.
Piłsudski was smart enough to ask Brits and French to take him out but they didn't answer but in the end if he had to choose he'd probably try to make a deal with Hitler and not with UK/France. At least for some time.

Extermination plans were official state policies. Starting with removal of professors, politicians and officers. There was a list of potentially "dangerous" people who had to die.

>slavs
>white

Fuck off, they deserved to be purged. Literally only a little better than jews. Especially eastern slavs and poles. They're not fucking white.

Pretty much. Pilsudski cared about preserving Poland, and fuck everyone else. If that meant allying with the Germans, so be it. Can't fault him for that.
Why? Is it just because you feel the need to be dominated by an ideology and not think for yourself?

>inb4 Generalplan Ost was fake because it never left the planning stage
It doesn't exist.

And the "exterminate Poles" line only appeared after Pilsudski died and that retard Beck rejected Hitler's offer of an alliance.

Of course it's real and Germans actually started first operations back in 1942.

Why is a ressetlement plan so controversial here? It was a pretty important aspect of WWII.

Did not know the former part of that, thanks. Even more evidence Beck was a fool. Problem was also that Smigly-Rydz simply wasn't a worthy successor to Pilsudski, in that he wasn't strong enough to tell politicians like Beck to go fuck themselves and do what was best for Poland, he kind of became the next Marshal just through being Pilsudski's right-hand man.
Ooookay, so what was all of that stuff during the war with the Germans forcing Poles off their land and resettling Germans there. You know, the thing that several major operations of the Polish resistance (Peasants' Battalion comes to mind) were directed against?

What the fuck was this then en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roundup_(history)

Roundups was just when they were closing the street and arresting everybody and sending them to concentration camps or forced labor in Germany not strictly ressetlement program.

One could say that was part of Generalplan Ost too, considering the whole 'forced labor and concentration camps' had the same end goal in mind: kill Poles.

The government was corrupted by Jews. They were selling out the country to the Communists. Sound familiar? History does repeat itself. America can learn a lesson from what happened to Poland following the Grand Marshals death.

No link to anything Jewish.
The only link to communism I could found was Taderusz Kobylański, who according to one theory was communist spy who fed our ministry of foreign affairs lies about Stalin and how he's not going to attack.
Polish government was stuck between two potentially aggressive countries. Without them there would be no war. We don't like our government from 1935-39 but it's true they were in impossibly hard situation with no perfect sollution. Ideally they would join Hitler and beat Stalin and then Hitler would be beaten himself.

Nope.

UK wanted to prevent a Polish-German alliance, because their analysts calculated that the combined potential would be enough to defeat the Soviet Union thus conquering Europe and shutting UK out of continent for good. Or, according to a more mainstream view, UK government was simply trying to buy time.

Beck was offered a phony alliance with UK, and being the idiot he was, bought it hook line and sinker.

Poland crashed and burned, while invasion of UK was postponed until mid-1940.
