Why is Europe so much more technically advanced than the US? We are still reliant on oil and gas in this country, still need shitty cars to go anywhere. Europe has extensive subway systems. Why doesn't the US other than in shithole liberal infested cities?

Wtf

Because the oil industry benefits off turning a single bus or train into dozens or hundreds of separate vehicles that consume 100X more gas, fueling the death and chaos of seeking oil so the elites are allowed yet further privacy.

This

>sign says "way out"

>London

there is no way out of the hell that is Londonstan.

Trust me, I've been down in Europe and it's a fucking shithole, I'm talking about western and southern europe. Norway is quite dank, with the same ameneties as america just a bit more "care for the poor, care for the children bla bla" culture.

Overcrowded cities rely upon public transport. It's literally impossible to commute to work in a car in London.

We already have a country wide rail system, Los Angeles has a fucking subway system that nobody uses. What more do you want? A monorail in buttfuck nowhere so you can feel happy that Cletus and his cousins are taking public transit to the goddamn tractor pull? America is huge, individual car ownership is the optimal method of transportation in our county's case

No, public transport is a fucking joke. I rather sit 2 hours in traffic than take the bus next to homeless people and delinquent teenagers.

Because we are less racist and have a lot of refugees who bring ingenuinity and a fresh look on society

How's it going Belgique?

>that nobody uses

Shiggy diggy m8.

SoCal fag here, this is false

>Why doesn't the US other than in shithole liberal infested cities?

Learn English first

Are there homeless people and delinquent teenagers in Norway? The most "delinquent" people there must be like characters from Joachim Trier movies.

Trains had their hay day in the 1800s my dude. Just because you stick them under ground doesn't mean they magically become more "technologically advanced".

They only use mass transit because they are too poor to buy a vehicle, hell half of them have to "rent flats m8" because they are too poor and overpopulated yo be able to buy or build a house.

kill yourself after

Europe is a tiny continent compared to America. They have a higher population density, thus requiring extensive public transportation.
If gas were as expensive in the US as it is in Europe, the economy would have collapsed already.

No, it's because when you have a gorillion people in a small amount of space, every single person wanting a 3 ton four seater with a utility bed attachment causes somes serious transport problems.

It's so bad in the "expansive" US that lane splitting on a motorcycle, ILLEGALLY, is overlooked by cops when you do it just to get through the sub-10mph traffic jams. Why? Because everybody in this great big country ends up trying to take the same damn road. All at the same time.

New York is the only city with good public transport in burgerland?

City flats arent too bad to get on the ladder with and they are a safe investment. After living in the rat race most either buy a semi detatched suburban house or move to the country. Rural houses cost pennies in the UK.

US was slated to have the most advanced and extensive rail system in the world, but then that would mean vehicles would be less important.

Top manufacturers' lobbyists shilled hard in the early-mid 1900s when trains were the most popular and really kicking off, but eventually owning your own vehicle was pushed as the most American, luxurious and 'required' for any adult or family and so more roads were built than tracks, entire cities were designed around owning a vehicle and the car boom soared.

Trains were neglected and demonized even though riding in a AAA train was more cozy than first class planes and you could actually relax in the cars between cities and shipping stuff and interstate travel would've been improved as well.

If you own any expensive american model cars, realize you were cucked to take care of that and look to the best trains in the world and know you could've had something even better in your city if your grandparents didn't get duped.

Very good. The greens and socialists chose a random beown woman as their frontman but even though she has zero exerience itq g0od to see them dedicated to giving marginalized people a vote so Im sure theyll win the election and we can get rid of that fascist mayor. We all just need to accept the new Europe.

Or maybe I just enjoy driving.

>100 car long traffic jam
vs
>1 train

Driving>trains. Especially when you care for and invest in your vehicle. Sitting next to a sweaty paki rn. Literally everytime someone walks in with a large bad I feel the end coming closer. God I fucking hate London.

Delinquent teenagers yes, not really any homeless people though.

We are by design reliant on non-public transportation.

Just imagine what that would do to our economy. GDP would plummet if we didn't buy new cars, parts, equipment and so forth.

>literally me

So do I. Making cars a requirement has been slowly ruining that.

What do we get with mandatory driving for all?

Traffic jams
Twisty roads being straightened for the safety of the gorillion incompetent women and children crossing them
Lowest common denominator speed limits
Governments mandating that cars must be safe because they're required even for people that don't really want to drive, followed by governments mandating that engines be environmentally friendly and fuel efficient (at the cost of power delivery) because there are so many of them that their emissions are snowballing into a serious problem due to the sheer number of the things idling all day
Higher insurance premiums because there are more cars on the road, more drivers who are unskilled and don't want to be there/just not awake because it's their mandatory morning commute, and therefore more multi-vehicle accidents for the kikes to justify higher rates with

The day we make driving uneccessary is the day we get driving back.

Sadly we're just going to fucking ban it instead

that poor bloke should just never talk to that cunt again or give her an impression that he will be there for her when she is 35 and childless and just go his own way, leaving her alone and bitter

ever been to Portland? you can go literally anywhere via transit.

what part of the projects shit hole do you live in.

Because pic related this is the american workforce

...

I live in Bodö, everyone here drives, and those who take the bus are teenagers going to high school, and some old people going into town.

public transit is breddy gud in most major US cities. Vast majority I've been to have metro rails. but I'm a bong immigrant here for uni, and honestly it's the highways and interstates that make america so amazing though.

my gf and I would be hanging out on the friday before a long weekend and one of us would just suggest "hey, why don't we go visit ____?" New York, Boston, SF, New Orleans, Seattle, Vancouver BC, Chicago, Montreal, CDMX, Denver, LA, Toronto, DC, we just up and DROVE there. And were back in time for work in 3-4 days. It's amazing how accessible everything is in North America.

>Europe has extensive subway systems
Because Texas alone is the size of France and Germany.
Cities like Dallas and San Antonio are bigger than Paris and Frankfurt, yet the actual layout of cities in the US is designed around driving.

cause we use that money to maintain our empire

...

That is because you people want to live in suburbs and it's just not cost effective to build subway systems there

Fucking cost. Imagine financing those operations across the Whole US vs one moderately sized US state (most European sized countries) the shear distance is the factor. Us rely on oil because they have more then Europe so cheaper is better, even though it's not environmentally.

>Derp public transport = technologically advanced

No.

Europe has an awful infrastructure. I live in one of Europe's largest cities and the lack of technology and infrastructure for technology is appalling.

In terms of internet, the entire nation of Germany runs mostly off of DSL, which if you're an American is something you haven't seen in 15+ years unless you live in the fucking woods. Moreover, the cable offered in cities is generally shit. The cable companies own the lines while the internet providers are separate, which means if your internet is shit or your lines have a problem, you have to contact the cable company rather than your internet provider and wait weeks for them to come out and fix the problem.

Moreover, pretty much all the buildings are old as shit. The majority of flats here run on 1950s technology. Old pipes exposed and radiators under windows. No one has hardly heard of air conditioning. Water heaters here are fucking ancient.

Cell service is a whole other fiasco. Cell phone service in general is shit. If you don't live in a major city you've got the service speeds and coverage Americans had in the late 90s and early 2000s. I'm serious, 2 to 3 miles out of a metro area and you should kiss your coverage goodbye. You're lucky to get edge network outside of a city.

The only thing Europe does well is public transport, but even then most of the bahn lines are 50+ years old, and the trains themselves have service lives running up on 20+ years.

In short, no Europe is not technologically advanced. It is actually about 10 years behind the US in the best areas.

Also, Europe is far more than a few western states. Comparing Germany or France (which as I said are actually about 10 years behind the US) doesn't cut it as "Europe."

Have you ever been on a Czech or Polish train? Let alone have you ever lived in a flat in either of those countries. You want to talk about infrastructure issues....take a trip east.

Truth... we just got upgraded to fibre in my village 200Mb for 65€ monthly. Just a 8 month install wait. Others in my area still have dsl or shittier service cards from T-mobile. Cell signal is shit tier here.

remove niggers from the equation and all our bad education statistics look normal

>USKKK
>making fun of rural whites
Meanwhile the decline of American schooling is caused by the increase in shitskins

Because Americans are too busy bombing some shithole in the Middle East than building their cities and infrastructure.

kek I've had fiber in the middle of fucking nowhere for the last 10 years.

whenever I enter Belgium the highways become hell, when are you going to fix your bullshit

top picture is india and bottom picture is mexico

It's because we spoiled Europe during the years after WWII (the Marshall plan)

Never, they're a bureaucratic basketcase. Highest taxes, a shit ton of governments, literally 6 governments. It's always going to be inefficient because it's a multicultural country, French, Dutch and German, it just doesn't work. And the french pulls the rest of the population down with their socialism.

TOOT TOOT HOOONK HOOONK

Exception not the rule.

However, you can just look at the data. The US is far more connected, with much better infrastructure. From cell service to fiber providers the US leads the rest of the world by decades.

>Post pic of Brazil labeled USA

Dutch education.

Europe before muslim invasion.

Europe after muslim invasion.

>Why doesn't the US other than in shithole liberal infested cities?
Because Americans prefer single-family homes with a yard.

You wouldn't make a public transit system in a wasteland full of savages and opportunists, so why make one in the US?

Uhh okay. fastmetrics.com/internet-connection-speed-by-country.php
