My guess would be Charlie was forced to deal with the same shit when he was younger. Maybe he was someone the Coreys could relate to on-set, telling them that gay shit was part & parcel of being in Hollywood. guys.. I knew Corey Haim briefly. We got to hang out a couple of times in 90 or 91.. I thought it was cool as fuck that he got to make money being a kid. Looking back I was probably an annoying shit asking him all kinds of questions like "how'd you become an actor?" and stuff like that.. I was just on the verge of getting him to watch one of his movies with me but I didn't remember the names of any of his movies then my mom mentioned Lucas.. and he said that's the one movie he did NOT want to watch.. and probably wouldn't ever watch it again. we went and were gonna shoot some hoops at the blacktop near my house but his parents picked him up while we were walking to it
