Aoi Honoo is Sup Forums, right?

So I'm watching this and why does this girl talk like that? She's supposed to be cute and charming, I guess, but I can only feel hate for her because of the way she speaks. Makes her look like she's genuinely retarded. And her kansai-ben only makes things worse, much worse. What's her problem? Is it the script? Is she just bad at acting? Why?

Social interaction can be weird at times especially if you have feelings for someone

You do realize they're supposed to be walking stereotypes right? Everything is turned up to 11

Honoo is well, it's his name

Hiromi is moe grill

Tonko is the seemingly airhead(she's not) hot senpai

>Everything is turned up to 11
Yeah, I noticed.
>seemingly airhead
I guess it comes off better in anime and doesn't work at all with real people. Like a good half of the "up to 11" stuff in this show.

Maybe it's not for you then.

...

Oh, no, I'm enjoying it. Just can't stand Tonko, specifically.

It's the script as said, but Japanese ""acting"" is pretty bad when it comes to young people. Half the time they unironically try to use humor or tropes that work well in 2D but look retarded in 3D.

Here's the anime opening

I just realized recently that this was one of the big draws for Gessan when it debuted, alongside Q&A, so the fucking Adachi stuff was direct cross-promotion for the magazine's other major title.

> Half the time they unironically try to use humor or tropes that work well in 2D but look retarded in 3D
Maybe I'm just not understanding what you mean, but this doesn't sound like an acting problem at all, it sounds like a writing issue.

>mfw I tried to watch j-drama /jp/ recommended
It was exactly like you described, 3D people trying to act like 2D.

It's great.

Has any of the manga been translated?

>you will never be this cool
Why even live

where can you find this? any good?

Try checking nyaa.

>where can you find this?
Over-time.

>any good?
Depends, do you like HOT BLOODED manga?

The group that subbed it has every episode on their website, or they at least did it while it was airing.

It doesn't seem like it.

...

>tfw everyone laughs at your toku

>tfw going to be a third year freshman like Yano

He's so fucking chill

And you will never stink half as much as him.
Be glad.

Ah, what was that, "Lions don't need to bathe"?

Don't even get me started on kamen rider fourze.
It was like watching an anime, but withbl real people instead if drawings and I am not talking about the action sequences.
The mc is great though.

>Stink

You stink of nu male

Can someone post how this guy looks in manga?

MEAL TICKET

>best girl didn't win

> in reality, there was no girls at all

...

Anno is a hero and an inspiration.

love this fucking guy

Aoi Honoo is tolerable because it's comedy and pictures otaku. It is not without problems at all.

Dorama that can be recommended to newcomers is “Tiger&Dragon”, or something else with good writing.

Or grow some balls and watch real Japanese cinema instead of idols' grimacing. You understand that large part of “dorama community” simply gets wet when their husbando makes a cute face, right?

>You understand that large part of “dorama community” simply gets wet when their husbando makes a cute face, right?
Nothing different from "anime community".

...

> implying I argued with that

Like bards of the past sang, “Now show 'em them titties// Now show 'em them titties…”

(You)

>People unironically think this

People also unironically watch streams and write brain-dead commentary on horrible anime video hosting sites.

That's a shitty post, there is no point in discussing it.

is Kudo Kankuro the only good dorama writer?

Man, I want these screens in not shit quality.

>Maybe I'm just not understanding what you mean, but this doesn't sound like an acting problem at all, it sounds like a writing issue
It's both. Half the pretty young people are bad at acting AND have to do lame 2D shenanigans.

>Aoi Honoo is tolerable because it's comedy and pictures otaku
That, and I think it's intentionally over the top to imitate what a manga adaptation would be like

>writer of Amachan
>good
Pick only one.

That's obviously a monogatari reference.

Yeah, I've watched a ton of actual movies that I really liked, but for some reason whenever they do tv shows they're filmed in a really weird, fake-looking way and acted like it's an anime. Absolutely painful to watch.

I really miss this show a lot

I went for a week internship at the post production office that handled Aoi Honoo, named Lespace Vision
I met the guy who made the CG, he also made the CG for the OP of GitS Arise

The few older television shows I've seen don't seem to have this problem.

Was he also responsible for “beautifying” skin of all girls with horrible blur, like they did in porn photoshoots circa 2000?

i know what you meant, i loved this show as well, but she was really...just something off about her.
I wouldn't mind her being a walking stereotype, if they were at least TRY to sound like anime characters. But for some reason whenever japanese people act they sound absolutely nothing like voiceactors for anime.

But she did have one or two cute moments, so i give it a pass

I think that's different person
Post production's job is divided to many part
I think the one who did that was the color grader

I really need to watch this goddamn show soon, but I should probably do Kamen Rider first, I watched Kabuto and that was it, but I love the idea of Kamen Rider. I tried Ghost and Wizard, but dropped both at like episode 15. Maybe I just can't get into Japanese Live Action, though lord knows I wish I could.

Sorry, I made a mistake
Somebody with After Effect or Photoshop have higher probability to do that, not the color grader
Color grader uses Film Master or Pablo

It's been more than a year and I'm still pissed about the protagonist being that good looking and wanting to work in anime, it doesn't make sense

Well tell us about your experience numb nuts, what was it like? I know shit about filming though.

WIzard is not good, try double or gaim instead

Aio Honoo is like 12 episodes or so, so i would say finish this first

Turns out you can be attractive but still have nerdy interests. Who knew?

It was a fun experience
I did said internship, but I didn't do any work
Mostly it was just being introduced to post production jobs, like offline editing, compositing, color grading/correction, audio mixing etc
Funny how Aoi Honoo is the only J-dorama that I've ever seen, and I'm being sent to that place
Thanks to that, I could talk a lot more than the other two participant
That office mostly did music video, but does not limited to that
TV commercials, movie and also TV drama
I really hope I can work at that place after being graduated from my film school right now

I know you're just trolling but all the same would you please die.

Nah, Wizard and Ghost are pretty awful Rider shows. This guy has some really good suggestions: . Kuuga, Agito, and Ryuki are also pretty good.

Also, remember, these shows don't represent Japanese live-action entertainment as a whole.

Posting better version.

> Hiding powerlevels

No, this is the exact opposite.
