Seriously, this. If you're a fan of a popular shipgirl like KTKM or Yamato you get to pick and choose and decide that you'd rather not have had that adaption, because there's a fuckton of material you can pick and choose from.

If you like even a less popular girl like Yayoi or Tama, you don't get to be so picky because there just isn't that much material of them. If they show up and talk, that's already a victory in itself.

But Nagato and Tenryuu are the textbook definitions of ships so popular that you can easily find an adaptation/depiction of them that you prefer. There are nearly no fanworks focusing on, say, Shiratsuyu or Yamagumo, so if they show up, just seeing them outside of their in-game lines is an improvement for their fans.

Start over and adapt the Fubuki 4koma.

Change the staff, studio, budget, and don't allow Tanaka to shove his ideas into it.

Both Kaga and Fubuki were in 6 scenes in that PV.
