If Campos was shot and reported an active shooter 6 minutes before Paddock started shooting into the crowd for 10 minutes, why did the police take so long to respond? Campos said exactly what floor the shooter was on and the approximate location, but the police didn't get there until several minutes after the shooting stopped. They couldn't even set up a sharp shooter to take him out?

9:59pm Campos responds to open door alarm on 32nd floor. When he arrives on the floor via the stairwell he cant open the door because Paddock has bolted it shut with a a metal plate and screws. So he continues up to the next floor then comes back down to the 32nd, taking fire from Paddock about 10:04, or 40 seconds before Paddock opens fire on the crowd.
Audio from hotel radio's verify that someone, presumably Campos, identified an acitve shooter on the 32nd floor to hotel dispatch center moments after the shooting started. The police arrived at Paddocks door at 10:17, just 12 minutes after the shooting started.
