Would Hitler and national socialists think of video games as degeneracy? I know most of us here play vidya regularly but lets be honest it has the same effect as porn,alcohol,drugs and all the other jewish things that draw young men away from society. And it is ruining western civilization

Hitler liked certain Hollywood movies, but he was always selective. Perhaps he would like video games, but would be very selective on which to allow into his aryan state. Maybe he wouldn't want his people becoming addicted and ban it altogether.

I really wish I could still enjoy playing video games. At the start of 2016 something, I don't know what, happened to me and now I absolutely cannot stand playing any video game whatsoever. Anything more than a 10 minute session will leave me bored out of my mind.

But I guess it's for the better, because when I was in high school I'd spend up to eight hours (1600-2200) on weekdays, and 12+ hours on weekends just playing games at my computer or console.

Has anyone have the exact quote of Hitler how cinema had so much educational potential but the Jews turned it into perversion as many other things? I read it somewhere once but can't find it now....

Video games are the best brain training tools currently in existence. I theorize that we on pol are as effective as we are at weaponized autism because of video games training us to be that way. Training us to grind, to think creatively, to explore every possibility, to deal with new situations and large amounts of information properly, etc.

When I look back at older generations who never went through this training phase they all seem so mentally slow and unplugged. Even young vibrant people that you can find in the movies or read about in books, they just don't have the X-factor that we have from having played games.

But I will say this; you have to be very selective about what you play. You have to play the games that really force you to think and that challenge you and force you to strategize. You have to avoid mindless braindead games which 95% of them are. And it's probably best to avoid online play because of it's addictive nature. Also it's best not to play often, definitely not daily. Just pick a game like you would a book or a movie - pick it up, play it until it's over, then put it away and move on with your life.

I've put a lot of thought into this and that's what I think is true. I used to be staunchly anti-video games back when I first found pol but I realized that was too harsh of a stance and probably not correct. They have value.

Films have value - just have to be selective about what you watch. But I don't think a good movie has been made in many years. Some good documentaries here and there though.

It might be worth coming up with a list of video games that are good for the brain, or for learning how to be more effective at weaponized autism, but I wouldn't know where to start. Probably just stick to the top games of all time, especially the classic ones.

this. look at germany even NOW. their best games are all educational/training simulators.

they would have focused on super realistic simulators and strategy games. any fictional games would be highly calculated propaganda(kind of like today, but opposite and more effective) probably lots of puzzle games, board games, card games that would focus on building skills like memory, math, health.

degenerate shit like GTA would not exist, instead there would be 'peace officer simulator' where you capture criminals, save people, and hunt down communists cells.

i am more curious what kind of games japan would have put out if it had remained an 'proud empire'. its gaming industry is clearly all about 'escapism'. imagine the killing simulators they would have created if they had kept their righteous fury.
