Good luck breathing there.

Chinese citizens don't have basic civil liberties

>private corporations owned by CEOs
>clear class separation between poor, middleclass, and the rich
>"communism"

sage

...

Communist party, communist country. Don't read into things too much.

>implying "civil liberties" result in a strong and healthy nation. Look at us. We have no culture.

Oh wow! that one picture of a modern day city makes me forget all about the 10's of millions dead and brutal oppression.

Hey guys! Lets all go commie! Surely theres no secret police or reeducation/forced labor camps in a society that can build tall, shiny buildings. Nope, deffenetly can openly and freely criticize the government there.

Looks tacky af. Chinks have no taste.

comfy

like your country 200 years ago

China is fascist since Mao died retard

Shanghai the special economic zone. It doesnt have the same laws as the rest. China.

> 1987
>Already communist for decades
>2013
>Things better after the introduction of market forces

This

chian good stuff is capitalism tho

CHING CHONG MAN IN THE CHING CHONG LAND
DOING WHAT EVER A CHING CHONG CAN!!!!!!

China is a fascist country.
Prove me wrong.

Shanghai in 1987 looks like a place that humans could actually live in. Shanghai in 2013 looks like a typical Chinese anthill

So... what was happening between 1949 and 1987 that left Shanghai such a dump?

Modern China has exactly the same structure as imperial China, minus the king. This is just one of the more successful dynasties.

As for civil rights, when did China ever have them?

>walk outside
>breathe
>die

They have a free market economy dipshit

Lmao China is a capitalist one-party dictatorship. Until they ditched Mao's bullshit in the 70s, China was worse than Venezuela.

Aaaaaaaaaaand /thread

lul are u stupid china is market socialism because they see it that comunnism does not well xD

So they resolve to edit everything that is written by Marx and make it into MARKET SOCIALISM

in 1970 xiao did a economic reform one of the reform is opening the chinese market to the exterior since them factories come to the country and slaved the chinese men because factories could offer a little payment for hours of work it the support of the totalitarian
socialism goverment

>Economic reforms introducing market principles began in 1978 and were carried out in two stages. The first stage, in the late 1970s and early 1980s, involved the decollectivization of agriculture, the opening up of the country to foreign investment, and permission for entrepreneurs to start businesses

Kill a commie, introduce him to history

what is state capitalism for 300 Alex?

>China
>communist
oh-boy this meme again.

It literally doesn't. This was all because of Deng Xiaopao's reforms way back when to make this country more open and capitalistic.

Still, this place is a shithole and even the new stuff is broken.

checked

this place obviously got bombarded after recent exposures on television and MSM.

All that that means to me is i have more enemies but they are all weaker.
Back to the battlefield.

26 years is a long time

not for niggers

Almost all the large buildings being constructed -- the 300M supertalls -- are in Asia or Dubai now.

It's weird. They are growing like a mofo.

I know they aren't 'creative' and they are losers and all that, but Asia is where things are happening nowadays.

but those countries have massive populations so it's not that weird.

not a big muslim fan, but that clock tower is fucking amazing. so intimidating.

Huge towers aren't good for human communities anyway

>1 post by this ID

That tower is grody... it's completely out of proportion!

Redditfags can't help themselves.
:(

the years shown don't reflect the result of a transition to communism. It shows the outcome of red china's attempt to match a more modern democratic u.s.

The result is hazardous construction that's cost the lives of thousands, and made environmental conditions nearly unlivable.

uuuu

>Still, this place is a shithole and even the new stuff is broken.

true.

>meme youtuber buys property in China
>place literally falls apart in record times
>will probably be a pile of rubble after 10 years

>garbage regulation
>separation in renewable and non-renewable trash
>doesn't even matter to separate because all trash is collected in one big container.
>muh "face" and muh "keeping face" and "reality is for faggots, face is all that matters".

sorry for serpentza + friends shilling but it's interesting and they're right.

in 1987 china had already been communist for almost 40 years

real talk... what is china's government considered now? some type of fascism spin off?

It was entirely designed and built by westeners, the clock itself is a marvelous piece of art. Muzzie's couldn't do something like that.

Yeah nothing says "this is the holiest site in our religion" like building an extra large Las Vegas casino right on top of it.

now we watch the capitalist take up the young communists cry

"ITS NOT REAL COMMUNISM!" lol

REKT. This is now a REKT thread.

America takes all of their production back, Chinese economy crumbles.

>haha now THEYRE saying it's not real communism
>isn't actually communism
Lel they're desperate to make it work. Even if it was communism that made china flourish that would be one time out of how many?

That wasn't because of communism. That was because the United States gave them all our jobs.

Can any china experts give a basic gestalt of how the Chinese Congress Meeting thing is going? What are the surprising outcomes?

You do realize this was 11 years after mao's death right? After Mao, his philosphy of hardline communism, or Maoism as he called it, was dying out, and the government transitioned to a mainly socialist, industrial type of government. Not to mention, after the soviet union fell, it started to become more free market, industrial, and also less politically and economically isolated. China is really only "Communist in name", and it today refers to itself, as "Socialism with Chinese characteristics"

>1 post by this ID

Nice slide, faggot

This. OP's pic must've been taken on one of the handful of clear days that Shanghai gets per year
