Which country/land is the best in the world in terms of it's geography (as in how useful the land is, not how pretty it is)?
I personally think the British Isles because of

>Temperate climate
>No predators big enough to endanger humans (except bears and wolves but we killed them all off)

Only thing wrong is that the country can be burning in the west, flooding in the south, shaking in the middle, and blowing in the north at the same fucking time
Australia. Basically all of the above, minus predators and with more natural resources.
They're both kind of in the middle of nowhere though. And Australia doesn't have the same growing potential for it's size as the UK and New Zealand have.

the UK might have a practical geography, but it is completely and utterly un-aesthetic.

Any island of decent size with fertile soil and some mineral resources is good. UK, New Zealand, Japan.
Quantity but not quality. Soil is the worse in the world and low precipitation.
