Is FMA the only big name battle manga that had a competent ending?

Is FMA the only big name battle manga that had a competent ending?

Nardo had a good ending.

if you are talking about 03's nazi ending I disagree

if you are talking about Brotherhood's EoE ending then I agree but others disagree

you mean 2003 right?

Because brotherhood had a canned happy ending

I loved 03s ending, movie excluded obviously

GTO

More than half of JoJos parts have had competent to good endings (1, 2, 3, 4, 7)

Anime or manga? Because there's a huge difference in how both play out

>battle manga
Does it even count as battle manga?

it's an action series in a shounen manga

so it counts

manga dragged on too long with that Tae Kwon Do arc

dunno about the anime

>Nazi end
>Disney end
>competent

I'd still say one of few, at least.

Nope, FMA has trash ending, as it has always been, you retarded disney fanboys

Off the top of my head, I'd say the following were satisfying/competent:

> FMA
> Zatch Bell
> Dragon Ball
> Shaman King

03>BB

>FMA
>competent
Go away with your lower than shit taste retard

could you spell out exactly what went wrong?

it's one of the very few big battle series to follow a pre-designed plot arc without arbitrary amounts of filler stuffed before the ending.

FMA BB had plenty of filler tho

Kenshin had a good ending

The anime ending for GTO was fine though, they sorted out the last conflict with that bitchy girl.

FMA
Kenshin

>FMA
>Shaman King
>Soul Eater
shitty anime ending followed by a slightly better but still bad manga ending

>Gash Bell
shitty antagonist with no real purpose but to kill all the other contenders

>Dragon Ball
>One Piece
>Inuyasha
reduced to going through the motions

>Naruto
>Bleach
don't even know what went wrong there

>YuYu Hakusho
mangaka ragequits

>Rurouni Kenshin
>GTO
>Hokuto no Ken
best ending if you ignore all the tacked on arc (or arcs in HnK's case)

>Medaka Box
only the middle arcs were good

the fuck is FMA BB?

>Shaman King
hahahahaha

Both the anime and manga have top 5 worst endings

brotherbood

I never said it was bad, I actually really like it.

I'm just saying they play out rather differently due to the manga introducing more plot threads post Okinawa that need to be tied up.

Such as witnessing the principal get BTFO by Onizuka

FMA has best ending I agree

>>One Piece
>reduced to going through the motions

a psychic amongst us, I see

>Naruto
It was the fact that he planned nothing out at the beginning, and had no idea what he was doing. He kept making the powers more and more ridiculous (which was done right in Gash IMO) and new villains, which he then would redeem. Obito, Sasuke, Itachi, even Orochimaru became 'good guys'
Gintama's doing the same thing, first Takasugi and now Nobunobu are actually good guys.

Most people here will disagree because they can't stand a happy ending, probably has to do with Sup Forums being swarmed with edgy kids.

I heard Lucifer Biscuit Hammer had a good one, I'm planning on reading it soon.

if it doesn't end like that I'm declaring it the best battle shounen

yeah but Samidare is a seinen manga

of the big 3 manga Mizukami written the one that was a shounen had the weakest ending.

> thinking Oda will ever finish OP before he keels over dead at his desk

OP never said anything about shonen or seinen though.

it's a long-runner sure

but unlike Togashi and Miura he at least keeps to the schedule

it'll be done before Bersek, HxH, Vagabond, the Pokemon anime, and Conan

Only if you like Sakura-fag tears more than the smell of a steaming pile of bullshit like I do

JJBA series, the only ending that objectively blew part 5's 'lol it's over now' ending

Mx0,

Yes

Yeah, doesn't Oda have the opposite problem of a lot of authors, where the magazine has to force him to take breaks so he doesn't work himself to death? Dude's nuts.

What's wrong with happy ending?

While it didn't have any plotholes, beating Father with Power of Friendship and ED getting Alphonse back with just giving up Alchemy was a bit underwhelming.

And even then he could probably still use Alkahestry

He didn't beat Father with Power of Friendship, as soon as Al sacrificed himself Ed just went wild with rage, everyone yelling to win didn't affect Ed in the slightest.
