ITT: characters who had a hard life

ITT: characters who had a hard life.

But that character has pretty much eternal life.

I want to marry Isla and make her a happy woman

Homuhomu.

>robots
>life

>had

I can agree with that.

How would you feel about having to replace her every 9 months and teaching her to love you again?

THREAD. OVER.

11 years, not 9 months

This show is literally low blows.

I wish I stopped but god damm

...

This shit was painful.
Hopefully, real life androids won't have retarded limitations like that due to corners cuts.

I refuse to die after my robot wife.
I could not handle it.

I mistyped, I mean years. Wasn't it 9 years and a few months?

for some reason i remember 11, don't know
Liked the show but i can never rewatch it. Thought it will be shit, i was certainly in for a surprise.

Me. Yes, I am dead.

>Tsukasa will shoot up the SAI corporations lobby in season 2.

but who was post

So Tsukasa can either buy a whole new new robot that looks nothing like Isla, or a robot that looks exactly like Isla? Neither of them will have her memories, right?

He can buy a gun

It's no one's fault Isla had to be terminated, that's just the way of the world. It's Tsukasa's burden now to make sure he never forgets her. Even when he finds a new gf, gets married, and has children. When he's old and grey he should still hold onto Isla's diary and read from it. Isla only lives in his mind and in those pages now. Everywhere Tsukasa brings that diary is another adventure that Isla gets to go on.

Don't cry, thats not what Isla would want

I wish Tsukasa and her got together quicker or had more episodes as a couple.
Instead we got more zany co-workers who where fine don't get me wrong.

>It's no one's fault Isla had to be terminated
I am more then certain that the SAI corporation put that time limit on Giftia's to sell more product.

Its easy to tell others not to cry.

Doesn't mean it helps

Yeah, there was a lot of beating around the bush. However, since they were coworkers and did have to live together, and since Tsukasa had no precedent as to whether a human and a giftia could date and work together I think he handled it smoothly. The real problem was he didn't know she only had a month left by the time he knew he loved her. He probably would've moved faster if he knew that from day 1.

RIP.

Its really fucked up

He KNEW what he was getting into and he dragged the audience down with him.

You don't get to pick who you fall in love with.

Tsukasa's disregard for his own feelings was the opposite of what Isla was trying to do. In her last few weeks, Isla wanted to isolate herself because she didnt want anyone to feel the pain of her being gone. But, deep down I think she was waiting for someone like Tsukasa to come along and tell her that he didn't care if he got hurt by it. I wonder if the complete irrationality of that sort of action was difficult for Isla to understand, since she was technically an android. Like she did want it to happen but couldn't understand why she wanted it. I can't imagine how she must've felt in the months before Tsukasa started working. She spent the days being wholly aware of her time ticking down while yearning for a connection but being unable to bring herself to form one.

inb4 the upcoming Vita game is just plotless fanservice.

I said it before.

Deus Ex mode with Tsukasa infiltrating the SAI corporation from the ground up.

>First day on the job
>Retrieval of Eddie
>Uses his SAI killphrase

Tsukasa can go about finding all the secrets and getting shot for going in too deep.

It was Tsukasa's fault that all that suffering happened. If he just acted like they were just work colleagues, just doing business, none of that unnecessary drama would have happened.

Hold me ;_;

...

Hello mr skeltal

He knew what he was getting into.
That beautiful dreamer

/thread

I choose to blame Tsukasa not because I really think he did the wrong thing, but because he can take it.

I hope one day he'll be reunited with the person he cherishes

I almost wish they would have shown us what Tsukasa's next giftia looked like just to hammer in that he was truly moving forward.

I dunno, I'm kinda glad they kept it hidden. If it was another girl I'd worry that Tsukasa would fall into the same path he did with Isla. I know it's sudden, but a lot can happen in 9 years. Not only that, but I'm assuming the new Giftia will move in right away, so having another girl there so soon would probably be tough for him. If it was a male giftia I'd feel better about it, since it's enough of a change for Tsukasa to clear his head a little. Plus he can build a different range of memories with that partner.

I would've liked to see how Tsukasa's and Michiru's relationship turned out. It was pretty obvious she like him, and I think she'd relish being able to take him mind off the whole relationship. Plus Tsukasa could feel more secure knowing she wouldn't be taken away like Isla was, and he wouldn't be the one responsible for shutting her down ever.

If I was Tsukasa's superior, I would give him a male giftia. It makes the most sense.

It was Isla refurbished. And no chance they will keep her appearence hidden in the visual novel.

Touko Fukawa
>had two moms only because neither wanted to claim a dead baby she was switched with, who had the same father
>abused constantly, locked in the closet for 3 days
>bullied throughout school
>humiliated by boys she liked
>split personality that happens to be a serial killer that marks herself after each kill, one of the victims being a boy who rejected her advances
>constantly on the defensive, paranoid at worst

I just want a happy ending for her

Make her your wife, user. You can make her the happiest woman on the planet.

Male giftia and relationship with Michiru would be perfect. Get a new bro and a chance to be with someone who knows what you've been through.

On that note, she was the only one with a fucking real problem in the entire show, god this series was retarded as balls, Refrain was cool though.

Here's an example

...

Do you think Michiru would let him keep some of Isla's stuff?

On one hand, it's probably how he plans to honor her memory. He'll probably keep her diary in his desk drawer and page through it on occasion. On one hand I think it'd be very cathartic for him to be able to hold onto something like that.

On the other hand, getting into a relationship with Michiru would be the next step in his life. It's selfish to still be thinking of Isla while he's with Michiru, but Isla's and Tsukasa's relationship was very different than a typical human relationship. It's not like they broke up, it's more like Isla passed away while they were still in love. I guess it's going to take a long time for Tsukasa to be able to hold romantic feelings for someone else, and when he's ready maybe he'll be more at peace with Isla taking a backseat in his mind.

Poor guy only wanted the best for his imouto

10/10 MC nonetheless.
