OP did you make that? if so what's the recipee?

And Caprese salad. I had that in rome 2 days ago, and man it was good.

Also I've started to collect the shokugeki no soma recipes that're in the books, so far I've made the mackerel burger and damn it's good

If you did make it, what's the recipee

I did not, I Googled donburi and posted the only image that wasn't interracial porn. I have no idea why that keeps happening.

It looks like tendon though (tempura donburi).

Other than standard stuff like Japanese style curry or tempura (which is more of a variant on a thing I make anyway), the one thing I've really picked up is sata andagi. I made some for Christmas one year and then again for Valentines and it's now become a bit of a tradition.

Or, I can just go buy Timbits.

That's katsudon (pork)
Picture is a gyudon (beef) that I cook today.

Post the recipe.

Oh wow anime introduced you to eating rice and meat in a bowl fuck anime is great.

That looks like shit i guarantee you cooked it too long over too low heat. There's no browning on the meat and there's no sauce. 1/10

Japanese curry is dogshit compared to thai or indian curry. It's bastardised US army food ffs. For Nips and stupid weebs only.

Malay curry > Thai curry.

that looks so fucking good
>tfw I will never eat this
I want to die

Oh wow we got a food expert here, clearly you know what is up. Why don't you show us one of your spectacular dishes.

Show us weebs how it's done.

>all of this asshurt over less than a dozen posts

Why not? Don't you have any shitty japanese restaurants run by koreans where you live? You can get this at every single one.

japanese food is overly minimal and unless you're a great cook it's just boring.

Japanese food is great because of how simple it is. There is a tonne of room for experimentation. I feel like Japanese food is more fun if you live in European countries because you can make some bizarre shit.

I just made a full English donburi.

>Japanese curry is dogshit compared to thai or indian curry. It's bastardised US army food ffs. For Nips and stupid weebs only.

It really is. Looks like a bland meat and potatoes gravy dish that's American-inspired or something.

I want to make this light soufflé cheesecake, which appears to be a big Japanese thing.

I tried to get into making Japanese cuisine, but it all looks like so much effort for not that great food, so I've just been making some simple Sichuan stuff recently.

>making some simple Sichuan stuff recently
ma nigga

Indian curry is shit, like all Indian food. Fucking shitskins can't even use a toilet.

Japanese curry is legitimately nice as a junk food. All varieties of Thai curry are the absolute fucking best though.

I ate a chocolate cornet once because of Lucky Star.

It was shit.

>Tfw the best Indian curries are English

Throw durian into every single thing

The easy-mode Japanese dishes aren't hard at all and very tasty (Shallow fry a piece of crumbed meat and mix a sauce easy). You just gotta like savoury food a lot to actually prefer it.

If you have even the slightest sweet tooth you are better off cooking literally anything else.

I do like savory food, but a lot of the Japanese stuff I've been finding just doesn't look appealing, coming off of Sichuan food. Got any favorite Japanese dishes?

Yakitori.

I should check. Probably have one but over priced

Shokugeki got me interested in making katsudon so I did one with pork chops and baked them in with a mix of chipotle bbq and sriracha sauce and garnished on top with cayenne pepper and red pepper flakes.

If you can find an good Yakisoba recipe make that, don't forget the Kewpie Mayo. I like to add in chicken thigh and bean shoots because chicken thigh and bean shoots are fucking GOAT. Fucking easymode comfort food if you want that. Your standard Katsudon is also great for this.

Cooking with dog is a good resource (plenty of easy dishes, broken down for weebs) , though I think they use fancy utensils that aren't part of your standard western kitchen, not hard to substitute though.

I just eye-measure everything so I don't have any recipes to give you. (Learned most cooking from my mother/grandma)

You wat, japanese food has a lot of sugar in it, case in point, tonkatsu sauce.

also covered in sugary sauce.

It's Umami I don't have to explain shit.

>fried noodles with fucking MAYO, often in a bread roll
Japanese food truely is shit tier.

Holy shit, I had no idea Sup Forums was so tsundere for Japanese food.

I like Chinese better than Japanese food

>tfw no anime featuring Chinese cooking

I'd never put that shit in bread, not even my filthy hapa blood allows it.

The mayo is much different than usual mayo in flavour, not tangy at all. Applying it lightly like with pic-related (not instant though, that shit is gross, just for reference) packet is optimal and tastes fucking great with pickled ginger.

There's literally an Elite 10 guy who specializes in Chinese cuisine who will be a major character in like 2 arcs from now.

>tfw no anime about stir frying msg

>he gets recipes from his japanese cartoons

DtB S2 made me want to try borscht but I haven't gotten around to it.

I made yakisoba with tsuyu for dipping and it was gross. I'd need to get it at a restaurant.

Made beef udon a few times. Fucking excellent but it's just soup with noodles, hard to fuck up unless you aren't using homemade broth.

I've bought packaged dry udon before, but it never gets to the same thickness you typically see. What am I doing wrong?

>he doesn't

What the fuck do you eat

>implying msg isn't godly

It makes food taste good with no bad consequences. Worst is that you might get used to the taste and stuff without it will taste bland. That stuff is the closest thing to magic.

Yeah so what. Cartoon food always looks delicious

dude Japanese food has a lot of msg as well., Italian cuisine even more so

>rice with raw egg
I wish I knew about this earlier in my life, it's crazy good.

>he eats

This is an 18+ board.

>japanese food, once
natto-n my watch

If I want to get recipes, I would go to Del Monte Kitchenomics instead.

MSG is for cheaters. You literally imitate the taste of MSG poweder by boiling seaweed, or mixing just the right proportions of soy soy sauce and meat.

I hope Shokugeki no Souma gets to a part where they make Mexican food. Literally the best food on this earth.

>Mexican. Trashy food with bad hygiene
Build wall.

>Corn starch and chillis
Mexican food is Indian tier in how little variety there is.

I don't care if it's cheating, this is the best asian ingredient available, and i could not and will not stop using it when i discovered it contains msg.

Shokugeki made me eat pickles with my burgers and I liked it

You got some pleb tier taste, amigo.
There's a lot more but everyone only thinks of tacos when you hear about Mexican food.

That syncmaster remote. Such an awful monitor

I don't think about tacos, I think about tacos, tortilla chips, fajitas, enchiladas, chimichangas, tortilla wraps and burritos all of which are variants of the exact same fried corn starch shit.

>msg is for cheaters

Hey if it ain't broke, don't fix it buddy

That feel when you will never make your own natto and eat it every morning.

Indians aren't good at getting olympic medals or pooing but their food is GOAT and western 'indian' food isn't a good reflection at all.

Find some white dude and ask them what indian food is, oh it's a meat curry? Most Indian people don't even eat meat. They manage to make tasty food without the biggest cheat there is.

I made sticky rice.

>I don't think about tacos
>I think about tacos
That made me chuckle. There's also menudo, milanesa, chilaquiles, flautas, orchata, pozole, camarones a la plancha, and plenty of other shit. Enough about that shit.

>Black beans
That shit makes everything too salty. It's like distilled salt AND bitterness combined.

>What is 中華小廚師!
This mango existed since forever. Mango >Animes.
kissmanga.com/Manga/Chuuka-Ichiban

Oh wait. There was an animu.
myanimelist.net/anime/110/Chuuka_Ichiban

Borscht is delicious, especially on a cold winter evening, and it's easy to make.

>Veggie indian.
North indians are scum, user. Tamil Nadu for life!

I made "chili cheese gratin" the other day, aka layers of roasted peppers, diced tomatoes, and cheese in a casserole dish (I put sausage in mine). How authentic is it? It's from this book.

no no the chilli oil on the left

>you literally imitate the taste of msg by producing meals made of foods that contain msg

No crap

>being a normalfag

All my Indian friends eat a fuck ton of lamb. Must be from a different part of India.

To keep it anime related, have there been any Indian anime?

youtube.com/watch?v=YYg1HxWbWcU

Everyone should watch chinese cartoons about chink cookery.

>myanimelist.net/anime/110/Chuuka_Ichiban
Damn that takes me back.

That's what I meant. It's like using pre-seasoned frozen shit instead of hunting and killing your own deer.

>Doritoes
Ayy. Where muh diet mountain dew?

What good cooking anime is there? I'm enjoying Shokugeki no Souma and watched all episodes of Yakitate Japan.

Koufuku Graffiti by SHAAAAAFT.

>webm

Why?

No, seriously, why? What the fuck?

What the hell america?

Omurice.I adapted it to my own tastes and is now one of my favourite meals.

>India food
>little variety

What the fuck? Have you never had an Indian friend or went to a good Indian restaurant? Indians have an absurd amount of variety in their food with all the fuckload of spices and shit they use. The only thing is they're somewhat limited with their meats since they only use chicken, goat, lamb, and a few seafood.

wtf is that dish called in your pic?

>my face when japanese curry is shit
I had it coming, should have expected nothing at all.

He's not talking about the raping, shitting street variety, my hindu friend

I tried omuraisu, I wish i never did.

>Tfw made Omurice with Jack Daniels smokey BBQ sauce instead of ketchup

I don't expect your kind to know how to cook, what with living with your mother and being a fuckup.

L

>Japanese curry is bastardised US army food ffs
When will this stupid meme go away? They got it from the Brits first and IJN grew up on it.

Okay, bastardized British navy food then.

>not being a fuckup who lives with his mother and cooks for his mother
Fuckwit.

Lentil soup with saffron and assorted spices and rice on the sides isn't that much variety, senpai.

>sister is a feminist
>won't cook
>have to cook myself

Don't mind it though, can cook all the chink shit I want.

I heard if you put some paprika with mayo, it adds some kick to it.

I seriously hope you only cook for yourself. People who refuse to live up to their own laziness don't deserve to eat.

Tikka mayonnaise is what they use to make tikka sandwich filler in sandwich bars. It's literally just paprika and curry powder mixed with mayo.

Does it taste good?

>want to cook to eat healthier
>live with messy housemate
>sets up his laptop in the kitchen and just eats and drinks whenever he feels like it, leaving garbage, dishes, and utensils everywhere
>instantly lose appetite when I walk into the kitchen
>whenever I ask him to clean it up he gets pissed off and yells at me

He cleans it regardless, but it's a total disaster in a couple days, and I don't appreciate being yelled at just to have something clean for half a weem. Not to mention that he does this scrub anything down, he just organizes shit. I don't know what to fucking do anymore.

Have you never had chicken tikka from one of those places that assemble your sandwich in front of you like Subway? I like, it, it varies depending on the ratios though. I personally like mine with a bit of Cayenne too.

>week*
>doesn't scrub*
Fuck me.
