The law in question is not saying “We should drag dementia patients into the hallway and kill them if they misbehave”. The law is saying that people with dementia, especially those that experience bouts of sanity, should be allowed to request euthanasia. Under current law euthanasia can only be requested before the first diagnosis (advanced consent). When OP says “without their consent” he is twisting words. The person still has to request it and request it during a bout of sane behavior, it’s just extending existing euthanasia rights to Alzheimer’s and dementia patients.
The fact that caregivers support this means they think that the patients are capable of requesting it. Not that they want to go out and murder all the people who depend on them.
The truth is a completely different picture from the one OP is trying to paint for you.

Check the website they link to in their article. It says nothing about reversing advanced directives. As someone that has worked in the mental health sector, about 80% of people put on 'involuntary treatment orders' for mental health problems actually aren't even mentally ill.
It is just psychiatrists trying to control them and justify the authority given to them.
they have 'tribunals' which is a panel of 7-8 people that decide to keep someone locked up for weeks or months 'for observation'. A person can be detained for 6 months without receiving any form of treatment for any tripe of condition - physical or mental.
This article is entirely within the realms of possibility, and I would not be surprised at all if they implemented such a policy.
