Netflix actually has an interesting scoring system that will add or remove stars depending on whether you're more likely or less likely to like something than the average Netflix viewer. It's actually trying to predict what your score will be and is showing that prediction to you.
For example the score it's showing me for that same show is 2 stars. It thinks I'll like it more than you will (though 2 stars isn't a big improvement).

Nigger, Netflix ratings are always biased towards the higher end. If something is less than 4 stars on Netflix, it is complete garbage. 2 and 3 stars are rare and most of the time unwatchable. I've never seen a 1 star, this show must be beyond bad.
