When I was a young teenager I had WORLD COMMUNIST views because, being a teenager, I thought everyone should be fair and get along. However, I also believed that the workers must be armed with as many weapons as possible in order to defend themselves from would-be tyrants. Every single other person, of any age, that I ran into thought this belief was barbaric and against the spirit of socialism/communism. As I progressed through my teens, my views leaned heavily libertarian and because the progressives and communists alienated me so much. Eventually I just ended up a bitter, lonely, conservative weirdo in his mid twenties who slowly abandoned all of his friends because of how weak and self-pitying their worldviews were.
Politics didn't change me for the better, honestly. I find it very hard to cope with people who choose to be weak and shirk responsibility, because my worldview is entirely based around personal responsibility.
transhumanism isn't tied to any particular economic model, but a free market is the most likely model to bring about this technology. Transhumanism is a pretty broad term, but overall it means using technology to enhance our abilities, I've noticed there are those heavily interested in gene modification and those interested in mechanical augmentation. Also achieving immortality via technology is a big part of it
