NNB

no

Objectively great, but what you would consider "the best" is very subjective.

I mean it's a good, fun show, but nothing to write home about visual-wise.

I had more fun with Kyousougiga honestly.

It wouldn't work well if it had this over the top visual style, it looked fine. But the show's actual content was better than any show of the 2010's so far.

>if you disagree you're wrong
then what's the point of your thread

was just being an anonymous prick online

Shitposting.

finally someone who's been on the internet for more than a day

Paranoia Agent did it better.
It's funny that Hiroyuki Yoshino voices a similar character in both.

You do realize that K-On S2 was in 2010 right?

Real best

I mean, I love that shit, but it ain't as good as ShiroBako

Top 5 in chronological order:
>K-ON
>Madoka
>GuP
>NNB
>Yuuki Yuuna

Honorable Mentions
>Tiger and Bunny

>Moeshit
>Butchershit
>Army Propaganda
>Repopulate the rural regions Propaganda
>Udon Propaganda

You're right about Udon. I went out to get some after watching and was not impressed.

Shirobako
Space battleship Yamamoto
Shinsekai Yori
Ping Pong
These four are best

I just fucking now finished rewatching it OP and was about to make a Shirobako thread myself. I always thought it was great when it was airing, but I must say, after rewatching it has probably become one of my all time favorites. It's fucking excellent.

All the characters are great. Even though there's like 50 different side characters you remember each and every one of them because of how unique and well written they are. It really manages to set the tone for each scene perfectly too, be it a lighthearted one or one full of tension.

I could go on with a lot of things this show did right, for me atleast, but for this post atleast I'll stop there. I really fucking want a S2 now, but at the same time it's not really needed. It really had a great ending and I'm worried a S2 would make the show overstay it's welcome. I just want to fill this emptiness I have inside me now...

Aoi best girl

Shirobako is a solid 6 to 7.

Best of the 2010s:

Miss Hokusai
Ping Pong the Animation
Robot Dad Strikes Back
Space Dandy
The Tale of Princess Kaguya
Tamako Love Story
The Tatami Galaxy
The Wind Rises

this

>Miss Hokusai
My nigga.

I'm having trouble getting into this 4 episodes in. I feel like if I were a kid this would be the tightest show I'd ever seen but it's just not clicking with me.

nice shit taste

>He fell for the Kagawa Jew

Mixing movies and tv series is unfair.

I disagree

Sorry OP, but that's not Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu.
Better luck next time.

It's a solid 6/10 with a like seven 10/'10 episodes. Most of the really good episodes are in the middle/end though. I think the first really good episode is when analyzer finds a friend.

Not even the best meme anime of the year.

But the 2010's aren't even over yet

is this the most disappointing piece of official artwork of all time?

I agree with everything but that last bit, Yano is best girl

This. Make the thread again in 3 1/2 years.

was a mix of a shit post and my actual opinion, It's what I think too be the best anime of the 2010's so far, please don't take anything on this site too seriously, 99% of the shit on here is just shitposts.

By 2019 nobody will remember a moe show like Shirobako

Can you handle all that smug?

the one were Aoi-chan looks flat as fuck is worse

>Shirobako
>moe
Are you okay?

>characters are all sameface huge-eyed moeblobs
>not moe

>Shirobako
>not moe
What the fuck am I reading?

That's not it, but in your case I know it's a shitpost.

I'm going to presume you haven't seen the show and you're just judging it based on the thread picture

I'd say Hataraku Maou, first season of Oregairu, and Nagi no Asakara. Honorable mention to Shinsekai Yori which someone mentioned wasn't it for varying visual direction.

Congratulations, you managed to have the worst taste in this thread so far.

m8 the audio makes for like 95% of the moeness in that scene cmon don't just ignore it
youtube.com/watch?v=7tWrE0freJI

also sound webms when?

>Steins;Gate
>Re:Zero
>Madoka
>Kekkai Sensen
>Shin Sekai Yori
>Fate/Zero
>Hyouka
>Ping-Pong
>Kill la Kill

>no shirobako figurines to buyfag

I love most of them, just think Shiro Bako is better

>also sound webms when?
I still don't get why it wasn't implemented yet.

Do you think you have good taste?

I wan't a Disel-San and Yano figure so bad. Maybe like a 1/8th Scale Yano and a Disel-San Nendo!

Only 3 of those have any business being on this list and that's being generous.

probably because of screamers and Sup Forumstards. They have them on /wsg/ and /gif/. I'm not sure if the porn boards have them.

web.archive.org/web/20150611072429/http://a.pomf.se/mysqpc.webm

My favorite show was Watamote. I'm imagining that the hateful losers in this thread areher, or fatass neckbeards living in their mom's basement.

How you guys can stand living and not just off yourself is out of my comprehension. Your family and friends all hate you and would be better off without you. You are a liability on society, and you're less than worthless, you're dragging the world down. You're scum. I hope you die. Faggots.

I picture you as the person you just described

Hey user I understand you're going through some tough times but if you ever need to talk about it we're here for you, or rather

Wow rude senpai.

Kekkai Sensen has movie quality in plot, background, animation and soundtrack. Clearly the AOTD.

you know what else is movie quality? movies

That KyoAni phantom cat episode also had movie quality.

So far in terms of TV series it's really hard to call any one particularly the best.

steins;gate is a top contender but the animation mid series was mediocre to bad and there was some pacing issues. If you have played the game already you'd know that it definitely could have been better. I also think the character designs (the art style) really failed to impress.

Shinsekai yori is just too bad production value wise, so much outsourcing resulted in QUALITY all over the place. The story is engaging but that's all thanks to the source material.

Shirobako is great, but it's a safe anime with a lot of fanservice.

Pingpong is also great but way overhyped in terms of how good it is. It's a good sports anime and that's it.

There are good TV shows you just have little understanding of what constitutes good art.

I don't know about best. It is my personal favorite so far and every part of it is extremely well executed but I could imagine someone not liking it for various personal taste reasons.

This is pretty much how I would put it aswell. For me it hit all the right buttons so of course I think it's excellent, but you can kind of understand how some would think it's just a standard show about making anime.

And yeah, the 2010s has been filled with great anime so it's hard to pick just one. But for me, so far, it would probably be Shirobako, Nichibros or Ping Pong.

If you include 2010 then nothing has topped Tatami Galaxy.
If you start from 2011 then it's a little more complicated. Shirobako is a really well made love letter to anime but I still feel it lacks something to be a true masterpiece.

I love it, but still wouldn't call it best. Top 5 maybe, top 10 definitely.

They should just have the audio muted when you open them.

That isn't disappearance.

not even top ten movies

I can't think of any other movie from the 2010s that was nearly as good as Disappearance. Hell, I can't even name 10 noteworthy movies from the 2010s.

List 10 better movies after 2010 then

2014, yes. I don't remember all of the anime produced in the last six years to confidently say this one was the best. Shirobako would definitely be in top 10 TV anime.

>every one of them because of how unique and well written they are.
You mean every one of the male characters, right? Because the female characters were all bland, samefaced cute girls who are loving friends and endlessly supportive coworkers with perfect work ethic, while the men actually have flaws, get involved in conflict and are the entire reason the series was even remotely entertaining.

The series could have been great if it gave as much care to the female characters as it did to the male. But they're clearly so self aware about the industry that they know they have to write cute, nice, fucking BORING female characters and can only get away with men with personality problems and imperfect looks.

Kaguya, Wind Rises, Shin-chan 22, Marnie, Miss Hokusai, Tamako Love Story, Midori-ko, Wolf Children, K-On movie, Mushishi movie, Heartcatch Precure movie

No Nichijou or Hyouka? I'd put them over Ping Pong maybe.

I see what you mean, and I agree, it would've been nice to see some more flaws from the female cast. But I don't think it's that big of a problem since they instead have a lot of character development.

>Hyouka

Half of Sup Forums has too much ADHD to watch Hyouka.

Oh and You are Umasou. Can't believe I forgot that one.

>Tamako Love Story over Disapperance
Get real mate

Not gonna argue over one's taste, because clearly no one is gonna convince anyone else. But since you actually listed them people can see easily whether or not they agree.

I say Disappearance is easily better than all of the ones I've watched from the list and judging by the pattern here I don't need to watch the rest to maintain my opinion.

I think it's very good but Tarou and the other guy ruin it. I understand that it wants to be realistic or somewhat realistic, and I understand they have a purpose, but I just want to punch them and it prevents from completely enjoying the episode. This is mostly true for Tarou, who seems to never punished.

Best anime was Hyouka
Most influential is 50/50 Idolmaster and Utapri for airing at the same time and making idol anime big

Tarou is that guy that you know is not the hardest working, that is a little bit of an asshole, that probably doesn't deserve to sit next to some of his coworkers.

But he's the one to relieve some of the tensions in the company, he's the one to never start a fight and he can take a sharp criticism with a smile and not become depressed. Having people like him actually improves workplace morale ultimately.

There were so many things that bugged me about Shirobako. I feel like the only reason they made the main cast all girls is for marketability. I think you have to really like anime to like Shirobako. Honestly, I didn't even care about the shows they were making.

Is she trying to scare my dick?

People like that are important in leadership. I learned about a bit of it in my mother language, but you cna read about it here

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fundamental_interpersonal_relations_orientation

This became clearer when Hiraoka got to the company, and you could even notice in the threads from when it was airing how most people stopped seeing Tarou as a useless piece of shit after that.

I like Nichijou and Hyouka but they don't buzz my dick like the ones on that list do. I was real picky. I'd put Eupho in a heartbeat assuming the second season's good, though.

I think there's basically a consensus now that Yuyushiki was AOTD.

I should get back to it at some point, dropped off after around 3-4 episodes. Concept/setting was nice but every episode roughly felt like the same thing and it just wasn't grabbing me, maybe I just wasn't in the mood for that sorta story at the time though.

It does kind of throw you right into the action without much explanation, so it might be a bit overwhelming and disorienting at the start. But this is the kind of show that gets better with every episode so at the end it's worth it.

I'd say give it another try to about episode 8-10, and if still isn't grabbing you by then it probably just isn't the show for you.

Hey please don't give up on Yamato. The first few episodes were really dry to me as well despite all the happenings going on, but the story becomes really engaging and the characters are great if you can just stick it out a bit longer.

>Ctrl+f
>no rakugo
Fixed

Good show but not A grade I'd say.

not enough hentia

If you got taste you know Rakugo is a modern masterpiece.
But it's not in good taste to say it so soon after it aired. Also there's season 2 coming soon.
