I actually like the dub way more. The sub feels too boring for me. At least with the original serious there was some level of seriousness to the setting and plot. GX is just too stupid to take seriously ever. That's why I think season 3 wasn't as good. It had a good plot but the pacing was so bad and all over the place.
There were quite a few things where the characters just said really wall breaking things towards the later episodes.
