Finland doesn't want to join NATO because it wouldn't do us any good. Independent we may not be able to beat Russia, but we can make invasion cost way more than what it is worth

Most of them are (or have become) rich due to the free market. They can support themselves and don't really need big daddy America to help them. However, as more and more countries go socialist (See Denmark and Sweden) we will see them joining the Nato, At least that's my hypothesis.

The point was that I acknowledge some small rich countries in Europe are part of NATO, but of the top 10 countries, half are not. There are close to 50 countries in Europe, the only 5 not wanting to join are small rich ones. All the poor ones and all the big ones want to join or have joined.
