sounds like clickbait to me OP

It's not.

telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/10/17/nhs-provokes-fury-indefinite-surgery-ban-smokers-obese/

They're talking about it on Fox.

I wonder if this is to offset the cost of all the sickly inbred Muslims that are flooding in

DAS RAYCIS

Yes. A step in the right direction. Please let this happen.

APOLOGIZE

It is. It's for elective surgery. Not essential surgery. Fuck off with your dumb shill nonsense.

>all the people with fat genes die
>no fatties left after a few generations

Fatty detected.

Pretty sure everyone is aware of that. Even states it in the article.

The point is that the NHS is moving in the right direction by restricting services to the purposefully unhealthy. As is their duty, when other people have to foot the bill for those who drag down the entire system.

There's no such thing as a "fat gene" its laziness.

Australia right as usual

>mfw I just broke both my legs in a car accident but they wont take me to surgery because the weigh scales say I'm 3lb overweight.

What about people with hypothyroidism

>Don't need surgery for broken bones usually.

Doctor snaps it back into place and puts a cast or a sling on it. They don't need to open you up to do this.

probably eligible for getting that taken care of

>hypothyroidism

Iodine.

There's no such thing as fat genes. If you're fat, it's your fault.

>fat gene

>Doctor snaps it back into place

sorry what? How many times have you broken a bone? I've broken my arms three times (snowboarding) and needed surgery every time. My left arm is full of screws and metal. I'm practically the fucking terminator at this point.

A slight fracture may need a cast without surgery but that hardly counts.

everything about you is genetics sorry bud.

There is no gene that causes you to be fat and stay fat. But most fat people come from ancestral homes where humans did not have surpluses of food. Therefore their genes adapted to have a lower metabolism and higher fat storage in order to ensure survival.

Chinese are rarely fat due to their insanely high metabolism. This is due to the fact their ancestors lived in the yellow river valley, the literal most fertile place on Earth. With all this food surplus they adapted to having high sitting metabolism.

Gotta pay for the all the mud slimes having kids.

Stop the gibs for the average white Brit.

Maybe in like, the fucking civil war, or a really bad sprain, or maybe a near break.

Actual breaks need to be opened, and the bones have to be set very specifically if you intend to walk without a limp or have normal functionality

I can see the death panels from my house.

0.1% of people with hypothyroidism who claim to have it actually have it. It's just degenerate lazyness.

this is good

I don't think this is all that "based" it is just being realistic. I am a dentist and I will not place an implant in someone who smokes or has uncontrolled diabetes. There is just too high of a chance of implant failure. Similarly I would imagine most surgeons would withhold elective surgeries until the pt is not smoking or obese.

Aye, if they didn't have a disorder, they'd have to accept it is their fault and they are a fat, lazy piece of shit.

So of course all of them have a disorder.

Depends on the bone that was broken and how badly it was broken. I've broken a few ribs, and the treatment for that is... nothing. Painkillers if they bother you, and try not to hit them again for a few weeks.

I wish we had universal health coverage.

>ban fat fucks and nicotine addicts from surgery
>mostly okay
>but suddenly some random fatty with terminal lung cancer, and nothing to loose barges into hospital with a knife
>slices up a nurse and stabbed a doctor to death
>millions in damages have to be paid out, and more importantly society has lost two highly trained individuals
>all of this is because some beurocrate didn't like fat people and find the smell of smoke to be unpleasant
Either put a bullet in them right acfer diagnosis or fucking treat the faggots. I'm not risking the lives of our doctors and nurses because you want to save a couple dollars by not treating "undesirables."

typical tory bullshit. smoking is a form of vitamins usage. either put in corbyn or privatise. they already ban you from seeking treatment in other countries

or vape

I smoke and don’t really care when I die is when I die, I know smokers that live to 90 and a kid from my HS who was 24 good shape played sports had a random heart attack like a month ago.

this

Enjoy your cancer months before you die.

do we fatties at least get gastric bypasses?
i need to lose about 4 stone but donuts are better than crack

Based indeed! As well as very fascist.

In the ethnostate, if fat fucks refuse to alter their condition, we will send them to fat camps where they won't be coming back.

>In the ethnostate

Keep dreaming lol

I know right?
It's not like America was an effective ethnostate until 1965

No, not based; this is the government deciding who will receive state health care and who will not. This is the exact reason not to have socialized medicine - it is in the state's interests to cut costs wherever possible, giving them an incentive to treat as few citizens as possible.

>e.g. should we give life-saving cancer treatment at a cost of $100-200k to a 50 year old citizen that is under the poverty line and pays no taxes
Non-taxpayers will be the first to die off (not the worst choice) but it won't stop there.

>socialism
>with qualifiers

lmao i bet those fat smokers still have to pay 85% of their income in taxes to pay for the system that they're banned from

I figured it was only a matter of time until this happened in a socialized or private health system

If you don't fit certain parameters, you're not going to get healthcare even if you have paid into it for years

Canadian supreme court just recently ruled it was a human rights violation to not have private health insurance in addition to national health insurance.

That's actually my fear with a single payer system. It'll be such shit that I'll end up having to pay for healthcare twice as I get taxed for it and just go on a private system anyway.

It will never happen

I didn't know the state forces some people to smoke and be fat. How cruel!

I spend every day on my ass, why aren't I fat?

>the purposefully unhealthy
Fuck, he's discovered our special and totally legal industry of self-loathing!

So this is the power of socialized healthcare.

THIS IS TERRIBLE

>he doesn't know that we already do pay twice
>tfw getting a "good job" in Canada means one with health benefits
>tfw pay nearly a hundred every month for my private healthcare plus who knows how much for our single payer system

If they can force you to do that they can force you to do anything else

You have to be a real shit for brains to not see the danger of the precedent this sets

Oh, and I don't even have the good private healthcare plan... That's extra.

>pay high taxes for a system your entire adult life
>don't get to use it
SOCIALISM YES

...

That sucks friend.
Democrats are fucking up our healthcare system so badly already that people are looking into socialized healthcare here.

For example in the 1970s you could give birth to a child and have a three day stay in the hospital for about $200. Nowdays it can cost you about 20k.

>see Social Security

>BASED
Kek no, next stop, they'll banned whoever not eating from certified/approved monsanto healthy food, say good bye to local organic farm

Fine, they can give me back my taxes that pay for the NHS then.

It's due to forcing hospitals to treat people that cannot pay (e.g. illegals). They make up lost costs via the people that can pay. In that way, it is already socialized medicine.

>the 'boogie-bill'

Fuck off, science says otherwise, backwards rural suburbturbans. Go deny global warmimg at your local posr-Galileo prosecutor's office.

You don't even know the half of it. That hundred I pay is for a private room at the hospital, and prescriptions (still have to pay a deductible for prescriptions), and a couple other little things. I've literally used it one for a 30 dollar prescription and I have to pay 5 myself... Meaning, I've paid thousands of dollars for so I could save 25$.
>tfw literally paying for boomer's oxytocin and their shit eating kid's antidepressants...

It's not genetics, it's the mother eating a metric fuckton of carbs during pregnancy which does the same damage to the developing fetus as decades of high carb diets in humans. This is why young children have type 2 diabetus and are fat just like Mommy.

>when a fucking leaf suddenly appears and leafposts near you

You think it's any different with private insurance? The deductible is to dissuade frivolous care.

I paid for my own health insurance for a decade and just started truly needing it last year, so now they're jacking up my rates the max amount every year (18%). I paid something like $40k total before I really used it and now that I do they're wrecking me.

What about liposuction or other surgeries that involve weight loss?

>obese

Under what definition? BMI is a crock.

>government uses a subjective test
At their discretion you will be excluded from life-saving treatment

No visible abs = obese.

Yup. It's the easy accesd and highly rapid stockpiling of high energy AKA sugar, that makes people fat. No other fucking way. Obesity was extremely rare 100 years ago.

>implying id actually go to the nhs.
Id rather take my chances and perfom the surgery myself in the mirror while high.

Isnt it odd that for ONCE this doesnt involve america?

>Id rather take my chances and perfom the surgery myself in the mirror while high
My sides and 2oz of beer in my lungs, you fucking prick!

Yup. It's the easy access and highly rapid stockpiling of high energy AKA sugar, that makes people fat. No other fucking way. Obesity was extremely rare 100 years ago.

Sugar hurts the liver (high levels of fructose does) but high levels of glucose are what causes weight gain and Type 2 'beetus. It's better for a Type 1 diabetic to eat candy than white bread.

If anyone wants the red pill on this topic, read "Good Calories, Bad Calories" by Gary Taubs

I follow a paleo diet about 80% of the week.
To all y'all with weight issues, study glycemic index shit too.
