Our greatest ally is at it again. Several Texas towns have now included loyalty oaths to the Jewish state be signed before any aid is given. Soon it will be illegal to criticize this. Be ready.
>In a widely distributed document, the city of Dickinson — a small suburb of Houston near the Galveston Bay — is requiring residents and business owners to verify that they do not and will not boycott Israel in order to receive hurricane relief funds. Many have attacked the city for seeming to single out residents critical of Israel. Yet inclusion of the anti-BDS clause was mandated by a Texas law signed into law in early May.
>In an email to the Forward sent Thursday night, Dickinson mayor Julie Masters asked the Forward “not to crucify” the city, since they are simply following state law.
>“I encourage you to contact any and all Texas State Legislators and ask them why they passed such a mandate,” Masters wrote. “Dickinson may be the first to include this language in a contract, but every governmental entity in the State is required to do the same.”
>Hauss noted that other cities in the battered Gulf Coast region have also begun to include the anti-BDS clause in government contracts. Galveston now requires potential contractors to certify that they do not support boycotts of Israel, and the Galveston police included the clause in a recent request for bids on new police uniforms.
>A city official told NPR that Dickinson is simply following a recently passed state law: "The city has nothing to do with it."
>They are referring to House Bill 89, which came into force on September 1. But Rep. Phil King, who authored the legislation, told NPR he was baffled about why it was being applied here.
>In May, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott signed the Anti-BDS (Boycott, Divestments, and Sanctions) bill into law. The statute “prohibits all state agencies from contracting with, and certain public funds from investing in, companies that boycott Israel,” according to the governor’s website. “Anti-Israel policies are anti-Texas,” Abbott said at the bill’s signing. “We will not tolerate such actions against an important ally.”
>How the law would apply to individuals seeking disaster relief — rather than businesses seeking contracts— is unclear.
>11. Verification not to Boycott Israel. By executing this Agreement below, the Applicant verifies that the Applicant: (1) does not boycott Israel; and (2) will not boycott Israel during the term of this Agreement.
>The city of Galveston has issued guidelines requiring contractors who bid for neighborhood projects to certify that they're not boycotting Israel, and it even requires contractors providing police uniforms to sign the certification. Austin and San Antonio have implemented similar requirements.
>By submitting an offer to or executing contract documents with the City of San Antonio, Company hereby verifies that it does not boycott Israel, and will not boycott Israel during the term of the contract. City’s hereby relies on Company’s verification. If found to be false, City may terminate the contract for material breach.
Jose Perry

Texas Governor Greg Abbott on Tuesday signed into law House Bill 89 (HB 89), known as the Anti-BDS (Boycott, Divestments, and Sanctions) bill, which prohibits all state agencies from contracting with, and certain public funds from investing in, companies that boycott Israel, becoming the 18th US state to support such a law.
Abbott hosted the bill signing at the Jewish Community Center in Austin, as Israel celebrated its Independence Day.
“I am proud to have commemorated Israel’s Independence Day by signing into law Anti-BDS legislation in Texas,” said Abbott.
“As Israel’s number one trading partner in the United States, Texas is proud to reaffirm its support for the people of Israel and we will continue to build on our historic partnership. Anti-Israel policies are anti-Texas policies, and we will not tolerate such actions against an important ally,” Abbott declared

They're scared. Time to strike. Remember they didn't delete the archive.
Look below every link I posted already and there is an archive. If it's a regular webpage it's on archive.is, if it's a pdf then it's on webarchive.

The ACLU is making the case that it is a violation of the First Amendment because of a SCOTUS ruling in favor of political boycotts. That being said there are a number of states, municipalities, and colleges that have accepted an anti-BDS provision because that is the number one goal of AIPAC this year. There's also movement to pass a similar law nationwide.
yeah, like jews don't push a bunch of doomsday propaganda to get evangelicals to do whatever they want. you're out of your damn mind if you think israel isn't the one pulling the strings here.

>Hey, guys! Check out Israel being Jewish again! Crazy, huh? Don't worry, I'll archive it. >What? They took down the articles? What a strange coincidence! It's almost as if they had someone browsing Sup Forums who had the clout to shut down articles across multiple different newspapers! I wonder who it could be? No worries, though, I archived it, remember? >What? The archives don't work? Haha, whoops, silly me! Sorry! Don't worry, though, we can still spread the word, I'm sure someone will still believe yo-err, us.

I'm sorry I didn't investigate it when the first complaint arose from user error. It's interesting to see the life cycle of stupidity all the same.

I stand corrected, and apologize. I was lazy and just reading the thread, not checking any of the archives, and just assumed sit based on what I read. Tested the first 7 archives you just posted, they all work. I want to genuinely thank you for taking the time to archive, double-check and collate all the links for a lazy fuck like me. You're a more diligent man than I.

>What's bigger than having a legal precedent to fuck over the goys? Touche.
What I don't understand is how people in this country do not stop and consider that no other US "ally" is given this much praise and protections. They most likely cannot name a single thing special, above every other ally, that Israel does for us. The one I hear more than anything is >They're the only stable, Western-influenced, democratic government over there! Who gives a shit? Sounds like they're the ones sitting in a tiny country surrounded by the wolves, not us, so they have much more to gain being our friend than we have to gain being theirs.
How do people not question the weird relationship we have with this tiny, third world-tier nation?

Christian King
True, but accusations of "racist" and "bigot" have really lost the sting they had even 20 years ago, because it's all thrown around so much now it's become almost meaningless. Shouldn't have happened in this case too? Or does muh Shoah still have some ammo left in it?
Bentley Ward
Those kids are going to write all of your news, direct your tv shows, and get your burglars acquitted.

don't forget loans at an outrageous rate!
Again my question is solidified and still stands.

This case probably has more to do with the alliance of AIPAC and their useful Evangelicals. I would bet that anyone with a problem here would be called anti-Semitic.
Dominic Harris
...
Evan Jenkins
This seems reasonable Israel is our ally after all.
Jason Long
We have lots of allies though. How many laws are written for any other specific ally nation?
0?

>democracy It was subverted by the kikes. They knew America would never be taken over by communism so they had to take over ideals already present here. It's what they do and how their kind survives. I do not understand the Evangelicals in this. >Muh Lord's chosen people! ... Were the relatively small group of Israelites, until they disappointed God & he was convinced not to smite them. Later, he sends his son to establish & finalize the new covenant with man, and people of the old covenant threaten to riot and got an unrepentant murderer freed, until they got what they wanted beyond the law & God's son is nailed to a fucking board.
It's all right there. How does any of this chosen people bullshit exist? If anything, followers of Christ's true, original teachings are the chosen people now. Jews are the people who refused to get on board with the new plan.
Joseph Nelson
Genesis 12:3 >And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
Then they'll tell you about the Six Day War and the Nazis. When they are done with their story they are convinced that you now understand that supporting Jews and Israel is not only moral, but prudent.
Nathan Russell
>How do people not question the weird relationship we have with this tiny, third world-tier nation?
decades of social conditioning where being critical of israel is the same thing as antisemitism
