You can't understand the Jews until you pass Elo 2700. You need to sharpen your mind to the point you cross what's known as the lower Fischer band, which is where the machinations of the Jews come into sharp focus. Stop being brainlets, and start studying chess today.
Why aren't you studying chess, Sup Forums?
So you need to be an autist to understandt Jewish?
What a croc of shit, these fuckers are running out of ideas for slide threads seems like.
I've been studying chess.
>chess
>Have to memorise hundreds of different moves
>strategy becomes less about gallant bravery and heroism
>just cold, mechanised butchery
Fuck off kike shill, (((Chess))) is shit
why play chess when I can play superior nihonjin shogi
Chess...
>condescending chuckle
Relax. The Aussies are awake.
lmao. Learn chess and it will help your general life. That's why grandmasters are insane autists. Imitate them now, goy.
Just because a game is complicated and deterministic doesn't mean it's good. Computers are better at chess, just like autists are better at chess.
what's some shit to watch/read to get better at chess, i know the rules but that's about it
do you think you're good at chess?
my computer could beat you
I lige cheese
I will reach 3000 Elo...in Dota 2.
>chess
Because modern chess is memorization game and nothing more. Id rather practice, read and remember something actually useful.
being good at chess just depends on your autism spectrum score. nothing you can do except die and get reborn.
I haven't played chess since I was btfo by a Jew in the finals of a county-wide tournament.
>chess and go
>playing games that computers are better at than humans
why even bother when someone without any knowledge can build a machine better than someone with a lifetime of knowledge
Is that fucking orthello?
I want to online chess so bad. Any google play suggestions?
>You can't understand the Jews until you pass Elo 2700
only a handful of people in the world have passed 2700. You don't know shit about chess if you think any scrub can start playing and suddenly become a super grandmaster.
you either had to have studied it your whole life or be a savant. it has nothing to do with being redpilled.
w/e fagot study this guy. not that you asufailians will ever be able to train and get this good...
en.wikipedia.org
has material on youtube if you want examples.
based Fischer he knew it all
only the opening and some endgames is memorization, the middle game which comprises most of the moves still involves creativity and tactics. The argument about memorization is only ever brought up by casuals or non players who don't know the game at all.
bring it bitch nigga.
anyone up for a game on Lichess? who wants to get fucking rekt
>ELO 2700
Jesus fucking Christ. I barely play at ELO 1140 and I'm getting slaughtered.
You must think like Jews, so yes
tactics are mainly pattern recognition which is basically memorization. even strategy falls under the same category since most plans a player will go for are plans he has seen before and knows usually works in the given structure. creativity is not a big part of chess at all.
>war is about gallant bravery and heroism
Are you 6 ys old?
>learn set of moves that was set out aeons ago and claim tactician status
>incredibly constrained set of possible moves for every situation
>somehow meant to advance your ability to think clearly in situations where problems have numerous moving parts with cascading effects
nope. chess is gay
>creativity is not a big part of chess at all.
just curious what is your ELO?
Chess books you fucking retard.
Yeah casuals like Fischer. And who cares about tiny window of tactics in a strategy game you dipshit.
Its a boring memorization game, that will be all but dead in the next 20 years.
about 2000
> lower Fisher band
>incredibly constrained set of possible moves for every situation
if every game is so 'incredibly constrained' why aren't there millions of Grandmasters in every country?
i swear these threads are always filled with fucking patzers equating chess with tic-tac-toe.
Chess has nothing in common with human intelligence, it's combinatorics. A computer can beat you in chess. Computers don't even have any intelligence.
Gallant and brave is for the soldiers who will probably have to fight even though death is certain. Cold is for the people who direct those people into those positions.
Don't go on Sup Forums at such a young age, user. Your brain is sensitive at this time and will more likely be fucked early than learned early.
I didn't know the horse could do this, that's pretty cool. Really don't think I'm smart enough to chess tho. My brain works, slow. Any competitive chess is done so fast.
play me.

The annotation for his book "Thought and Choice in Chess"
"What does a chessmaster think when he prepares his next move? How are his thoughts organized? Which methods and strategies does he use by solving his problem of choice? To answer these questions, the author did an experimental study in 1938, to which famous chessmasters participated (Alekhine, Max Euwe and Flohr). This book is still useful for everybody who studies cognition and artificial intelligence."
You're a moron. As if Morphy had precedents that were anywhere near his level that he could relied on through "memorization" or "pattern recognition". As if Alekhine didn't go against all past classical theory when he introduced the hypermodern style. You are a brainlet who has retarded opinions on subjects that you know nothing about .
Is she trying to look retarded with this expression?
Wew someone got btfo pmsl
thought i lost for a minute
good game senpai.
don't listen to casuals dude.
>a game that's 2,000 years old will be all but dead in 20 years.
Anyone want to play?
she is looking at a porn watching cuckold with pity
that's called a knights tour.
an open tour means the knight will finish on a different square than it started. A closed tour means the knight finishes on the same square it started on.
>Have to memorise hundreds of different moves
You are retarded
Chess isn't for everyone, at least not everyone can reach 2700
It takes special talent to become good at this game. Just because you are good at maths doesn't mean you will become a grandmaster
Bobby Fischer was woke as fuck though.
>It takes special talent to become good at this game.
Yea, you need to be a calculator with a good memory
>implying he's wrong
Memorization is literally all that chess is. There's zero creativity or abstract thinking involved. That's why a decades old computer can beat you at it.
Because I'll never get past 1800 being a 130 IQ pleb
play yugioh instead
Waste your time with strategy.....never get to fight
There's a lot more than memory to it, user. Good memory let's you go through the 1st and last 4th of the game, everything inbetween takes a creative skill and can't be memorized
I thought chess was a little fun for a few months or so, then it started feeling like a trivial pursuit.
found the brainlets
>allow me to refute your point by introducing you to 2 edge cases!
Checkmate
I hate this chess. Had to study it in school from kindergarten. It’s awful
youtube.com
this video is really good at explaining pawn structures and positioning.
The best way to learn though is to keep playing against people around your level and higher. And study your losses. Analyze your own games and see how you could've done a better move.
It is true that you are dumb like a brick.
I mean why not use the most drastic examples? Point is players are faced with unfamiliar and unique positions constantly, especially if you're not at the very top level and haven't spent years of constant professional chess honing your pattern recognition. These "edge cases" bear pertinence, but it happens on a smaller scale to thousands of players every day. They break out of conceptual schemes as they're faced with new problems, and probably will consistently for as long as they play the game.
>checkmate
so I guess they have finally burgerized russia
Also learn an opening!!
it is the most important part of the game!
triggered
Chess is worth studying but not for any of the reasons people often say it is.
Chess is about neither creativity nor memorization.
Anyone who says this is retarded.
You literally cannot memorize chess. Just because there are a finite number of non-retarded opening moves doesn't make the game "solved." Even computers cannot analyze all possible variations. Good luck memorizing chess.
On the other hand, anyone who talks about "creativity" or "aesthetics" in chess is either larping or unironically autistic.
Chess is both highly constrained and infinitely complex. The tension created by these two poles results in the true beauty of chess which is the element of time. Chess is like a zen meditation. Chess will red pill you because no matter what you do you must make a move and you are either advancing or losing. The time of the game continues forward by necessity regardless of the quality of your moves, which is exactly analogous to life. When you accustom yourself to thinking about a game in this way it becomes more familiar and you will start to apply that same thought patterns to real life and just as you can improve the quality of your play the quality of your life will improve.
No, I still read Dostoyevsky for fun and go to opera and ballet and do sambo. Chess is just stupid.
>chess
>not shogi
chess is like checkers compared to shogi
> names ONE writer as some sort of "proofs" that he's a """"well-read""" guy and adds "for fun"
> went to opera ONCE during high school
> watches youtube martial arts videos
How close am I to translating that e-harmony bio you just posted?
I played as a kid, and as an adult my fond memories made me want to revisit the game. I didn't start getting any good until I started watching chessnetwork and even so it's taken years of casual studying to become even a subpar player, but I can mash most randoms who think they're good cause they played chess in jail.
Have this female coworker who was fresh out of jail when she started at my job and she was super loud and aggressive. Always talked this and that about who she used to be, and I'd just listen to her and not say anything. She liked to brag about how she used to play chess tournaments and one time she even played a game that took liek 12 hours wow.
One day she finally challenged me. She's beaten me once in something like 60 games now and admits that she uses her single player chess game on her phone to use the tutor for recommended moves.
Normies like to namedrop the game of chess because they think it's for super smart people. But it's like anything else. Take pool for example. It's glamorous to make all these trick shots and everyone wants to be a hustler/shark but actually learn the game from a professional for even a week and you shit on all those drunk fools. Same goes with chess theory. Once you learn a few key things it's all pretty formulaic and all the mystique about the game kind of goes away. People like to think "oh, those guys can see x moves ahead" but it's usually not about that. I mean, being able to see a mate in 7+ moves does come with a lot of practice and focus but it's more about analyzing one position and thinking about the one best move.
Chess will red-pill you
I agree completely. Any chess player who is an outspoken liberal is completely and utterly full of shit. I won't name anyone here, but some of the commentators do seem to "protest too much". But it could be (((they))) have to.
Im from Leningrad/Saint Petersburg- we went to the opera like 2 times a month through school and the Hermitage just as much. Much more enjoyable than hours spent memorizing chess openings and defenses.
Is Magnus red-pilled on Norway do you think or in general?
its much more enjoyable for you, because you are a brainlet
> watching tv is more enjoyable than working out, who wants to do push-ups and get stronger
this is basically you
he was tutored since he was a kid by Kasparov and others. Chess isn't inherently 'redpilled'. Bobby Fischer was a paranoid aspie who just happened to also play chess.
stop being a hostile fgt to peaceful vladimir
Another reason chess will red-pill:
Evaluation of positions is either good or bad. There's no being nice about it.
Top chess players must be somewhat red-pilled, they have to play in Dubai for some of their tournaments, so maybe not as red-pilled as Fischer.
It's interesting that there is only one Israeli over 2700 right now. I believe it's been that way for years. And he moved there from Russia.
2700chess.com
Not sure how many of these are Jewish, though.
Nothing is inherently red pilled. Most chess players I know are though. I've often wondered how it would shatter liberal and their belief that they are intellectually superior if they were to discover that chess players are more likely to be conservative. But, I'm sure they'd create a "study" that attributes thinking patterns in chess as akin to white supremacy or some bullshit.
