Your mom's fat arse

banning high velocity assault trucks

There is no next because there will be no ban. The amount of mags in private hands probably exceeds that of military and law enforcement combined.

What's next? The black market for 30rd magazines goes through the roof. If they banned em, I'd pay $100 apiece easy. No question. It'd be such a hot market, that blackmarket mags would start getting made. China would make the shells and ship them here under another name, then the springs and followers would come as a different product.

I already have 15 30rd magazines. I'd stock up until I have 50 at least.

Exactly this. People got wise after Newtown, and you can find what used to be $60 pmags selling for $6.

Even normies know that the first thing the govt will go after are high capacity magazines

>probably

retard. it obviously does. stop using college-tier reddit-tier beta pussy bitch qualifiers.

Meme calibers like .22LR

Those are clips, not magazines. Magazines are entertainment outlets.

>high capacity
What's high capacity dude bro? Is a 40 round or 60 round magazine like a super high capacity magazine?

Most serious gun owners bought several times what they could conceivably ever use, probably with the idea of selling them like said, but having so many mags would also serve to outfit several other riflemen. Mags are not going anywhere. Semi-autos or "assault weapons" are not going anywhere. The democrats have basically given up on gun control except as a way to virtue signal. Thanks to their previous attempts the American public is so heavily armed that it's impossible to disarm them.

Anything more then ten rounds according to tyrants.

They are trying to ban them now.

Belt fed.

Won't pass. Won't get signed. Won't be law.

10 rounds!
What do you need 7 for?
You'll need to turn in that 5 round magazine.
Help police this mad man has a single shot rifle!

Every time I order ammo, I order a couple magazines. I just got jealous one time I saw a guy's gun cabinet on /k/ that was full of loaded mags. I thought "I want that", so I started doing it. All I could think was that at some point, modern society has to collapse. I may be 60 when it happens, but I will have enough to supply a small platoon of men by then. If I shoot ammo, I replace it and add a little more on top. When I do that, I buy more mags. If they ever do a 30rd ban, I'll be sitting on at least a few dozen, but I'll likely buy even more during the panic. And if it never happens, then I'll pass them down to my children.

There are so many 30rd magazines in this country that a ban will only be an inconvenience to new shooters. To anyone who's been paying attention, they've been buying them up because they're nice to have around. Plus, almost any order you make now comes with magazines for free. They started calling them 'packing peanuts' on some forums because they're just dropping them into shipments like they're nothing.

I do recommend getting 40rd magpuls though. If you don't have a few, consider it. They may not ban 30rd, but manufacturers may 'voluntarily' discontinue them as a form of 'compliance' with political pressure.

...

Next we all get 3d printers and fabricate our own.

Shrike

>supply a small platoon of men by then.
A Marine Corps rigor platoon is 42 Marines including officer and staff nco. The standard combat load is seven magazines, or 210 rounds. That's just 8820 rounds total. You can probably supply a platoon already.

Man, call me dumb, but I never even thought of this. Lol, I wonder what they'll do about belt-fed guns? I should actually consider investing in one and buying ammo for it. I feel dumb for not even thinking about it.

trying to ban a metal box and spring

hahahahahaha

It's called the "Keep Americans Safe Act"

You don't want to keep Americans safe?

I'm the bill it says "large capacity ammunition feeding devices" so that would cover belts too technically if you had more then ten rounds connected together.

This Act may be cited as the “Keep Americans Safe Act”.

SEC. 2. PROHIBITION ON TRANSFER OR POSSESSION OF LARGE CAPACITY AMMUNITION FEEDING DEVICES.

(a) Definition.—Section 921(a) of title 18, United States Code, is amended by inserting after paragraph (29) the following:

“(30) The term ‘large capacity ammunition feeding device’—

“(A) means a magazine, belt, drum, feed strip, or similar device that has a capacity of, or that can be readily restored or converted to accept, more than 10 rounds of ammunition; but

“(B) does not include an attached tubular device designed to accept, and capable of operating only with, .22 caliber rimfire ammunition.”.

>Order red dot off PSA
>Comes with 10 free 30 round mags
You're too late, also I'm ordering a spark which will also come with more magazines. I don't even want or need this many, but it's nice knowing it upsets someone

Fug. Well, that can't pass in a Republican administration, I assume. Trump would veto the living shit out of that. I have 8 years to complete my collection, then find a good hiding spot for it.

I only want all this stuff in the event that SHTF. I could do with one 30rd mag for home defense, while the rest collect dust sealed in a wall in my basement. SHTF, I take a sledge hammer, and I get it all out.

I don't like the sound of this, but I'm going to be ready whether it's legal or not. And I'll have a 30rd on my home defense gun even if it's illegal to do so. I'll just keep a 10rd within reach so I can swap it out when the cops come.

Don't be so stupid. They restrict ammo. Way easier. Way more effective. Buy bullets.

Wow.

Standard Capacity

They are fucking standard capacity you kikes

Those are standard capacity magazines.

Forced penis reduction to

congress.gov/bill/115th-congress/senate-bill/198/text

I make them in my garage or 3d print them

Come to California if you want to see the roadmap to gun control for the next 10 years

Is there any concensus at all as to what qualifies for a high capacity magazine? Literally every noguns I talk to has a revelation when I point out that what would qualify as "high capacity" for one platform or caliber might not for another.

The idea of selling D&H aluminum mags for $30 a piece makes me mildly turgid. But I'd prefer to just not live in an over regulated socialist hell hole.

...

>Next?
The price goes up.

Digits for clips.
Clips for bullets.
(this is bait)

Used to be over 10, now it's over 7 (see New York). Eventually it will be >0.

What the are really doing is import bans on certain ammo. Calling it armor piercing or the country that makes it has sanctions. Making some guns obsolete.

Oi vey! Delete this!

people buying spring steel, sheets of aluminum, and a metal stamper to start making their own

Not just on imports. Any ammunition made out of a metal other than lead can be banned under current laws for being "armor piercing." Leftists are also trying to ban lead ammunition for environmental reasons. Essentially banning all ammunition.

A section of the SHARE Act H.R 3668 limits this definition to handgun ammunition and prevents the Attorney General from unilaterally declaring imported ammunition as "armor piercing"

So you guys know, that if they do eventually come for our guns... Like, it's fucking go time. You know that? You aren't just going to turn them in right?

>our guns
Sorry mate, I lost all my guns in a boating accident last week.

oh... errr... yeah that's right, m-me too

This.

Check out a book called "Life after Doomsday." Perfect preppers guide to stocking up. The info about military fallout needs an update since the 1970s.
Also, improvised munitions guide (if you can get a copy).

Basically, rifles that fire pistol ammo and vice versa are ideal day-to-day survival weapons (.44 and .357).

>high capacity magazines
*Standard capacity magazines.

>If these become banned what's next?
The semi-automatic rifles themselves.

its the thin end of the sandwich if they take away high cap clips. its a rubbery rope and some say they will take pistol grips and barrel shrouds next.

Not the shoulder thing that goes up?!

Fun fact: all typewriters in USSR were registered and had control print made from them (for forensic purposes) Xerox was illegal for personnel use, in offices Xerox equipped copying departments run under oversight of KGB. BASED Communists.

There's a little good in everybody

god damnit there's literal autists on the internet that would do this shit for free

Fuck you beat me to that. I also was going to say it rubs off of the police cars.

You might as well be Canada if high capacity magazines are banned.

t. Canuck with 5 round limited magazines

...

Those are not "high capacity."
Those are standard capacity.
SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.

Doesn't matter, I imagine there are literally hundreds of millions of high cap mags in circulation as it is.

Then everyone just brings a shitload of low-capacity mags.

THIS.
They'll just Feinstein us all into a formal gun ban.

>TFW....

big laff

haha civil war then. fine by me.

no step on snek.

nothing wrong with banning and controlling high capacity assault writing utensils

Pistol grips, then magazine release buttons

T. californiafag.

I don't believe in gun control but I do believe in mocking goobers who build up an arsenal in the hope that some day they get to shoot a bunch of people and get away with it.

What in the entire fuck CNN
