Pop a wheelie on a zeitgeist

Zero impact. Venus project never happened, just like technocracy.

My friend showed me the part about Jesus once, and I realized it was bullshit when the narrator said we call Jesus the "Son" because he represents the "Sun."

None. No one watched it.

im guessing it's gotten at least fifty million views m8

I watched it and addendum and I liked it. Once you get thru the whole “god is dumb” edgelord stuff it’s actually pretty good but in addendum they gloss over the whole Jewish question with the federal reserve banking system. They say how it’s so evil and only perpetuates debt but they don’t touch at all how it’s mainly jewish

Yeah they literally stole the info from Eustace Mullins and forgot to mentions the Jews. I actually thought Addendum was about some future technocratic anarcho-communist utopia. Wat?

Someone rec me a good doc for tonight. Thankie.

A very positive effect. It gave intelligent people an insight into how decent video editing doesn't matter when 99% of the subject matter is bullshit.

For some reason, Michael Moore was getting away with it.

Atheists will believe anything as long as it is against God.

imdb.com/title/tt0192519/

It's about a Jap looking for a jew brain so I thought you might enjoy that.

youtube.com/watch?v=M-aGPniFvS0

UHH.

Lmao I remember the Venus Project. Basically a communist dream. First movie ok, second and third shitty.

A big, big impact, desu. Along with the impact of Stewart and Colbert, and then by internet (Sup Forums tumblr reddit youtube etc)

The part on Jesus really made me think but anyone who was actually religious would dismiss it as total bullshit anyway

Translation error

Crazy. May just.
Done seen it.

That's only the first one, the second one was my first redpill to the banking system

Yea everyone knows soloman or sol represents the sun

>20% redpill
>80% NWO agenda

I agree. How was it received in Russia?

Some citable sources would have been good for that section.

An Open Secret
Kubrick's Odyssey
The Money Masters
Ken Burns Vietnam doc is solid although infected with lefty shit in some ways

This

The expose on modern financial systems is the only decent part. The rest was pure blackpill that deconstructed anything and everything about Western tradition, which made the Venus Project fantasy seem even more retarded in context. It's like if you were to read a sociology textbook that spends the entire book demolishing racial identity, then spends one chapter rhapsodizing about black culture. It ruined the entire piece as effective propaganda.

I'm usually cautious of Utopian ideas such as the Venus project.

>teaches at "Kinki" University
JUST

>The expose on modern financial systems is the only decent part.
Feel the same way. It was the first time I'd seen that mentioned in a documentary at that stage though. Previously, I had only stumbled upon Web of Debt by Ellen Brown.
Libya followed soon after and that's when I realised most wars are banker's wars.

not as anything really influentual.
its designed more for the western vierwership.

russia and post soviet area has a lot of its own truthers, sadly, many of them are sects like new age or hardcore religious.
they give little truth and the rest is their own desinformation to lure people into movement.

*cough*
Duginism.

dugin is a whole story on its own.
to this day i wasnt able to manage to understand his theory.

The part on Jesus was total garbage and has been debunked numerous times by secular historians in addition to Christians.

It felt like a teenager found some redpill truths and then edited out the Jewish part and focused on Jesus 2b-edgy

good to know. for us it served as a wedge between the right wing conspiracy theorists and left wing ones, it created a ton of left wing ones that i'm guessing continued to drift leftward into antifa and other retarded meme ideologies. the movies literally spew egalitarian communist fantasies and disguise it with edgy half assed conspiracy.

No joke, this movie got me to see things differently in terms of appearances, ie. swallowing red pills.

Over time, however, I realized it was just a propaganda film that was not only poorly researched and verified, but was also being used to bring about communism.

Kind of off-topic but does anyone remember the video from ~2007 showing the coming invasion of Europe by muslims? It showed off the low birth rates of all the Euro countries. I remember getting it in a chain email from a friend and it was filled with RE: saying how racist the video was with a few people agreeing with it.

No sane person understands his pseudo-philosophical ravings. which I think is the point ;sophistry

This is the same guy who believed in the theory of invading Western Europe, right?

Yes, as ridiculous as that train of thought appears there is some historical context to this. I suggest listening to this lecture given by Manly P. Hall. He has written a great deal on the ancient mystics is quite informative.

PINGU!

i do, yeah

lol i had a friend go visit that venus project guy (jacques? or something) in florida. just a sci-fi writer pretending to be a revolutionary

Redpilled some lefties on JQ
So that's something at least
The anti religion thing was pretty irrelevant to me though

It did influence a lot of people I think - but actually most of it was pure bullshit and only retards believed it. so it was good to filter them out.

> egalitarian communist fantasies and disguise it with edgy half assed conspiracy.
exactly this. also, with humanitarian + save the enviroment angle. ideal for normies to swallow.
>which I think is the point
probably the point was: confuse your geopolitical enemy
i think so. there was a something WW3 endtime related...

Spot on

Bump. Interested.

Either way, I threw all the ideas in the walnut trashcan when it comes to the Venus pipedream. but I did see something positive in that "film"
and that was the Architecture.

I was recommended it by by a normie, who said their mind was blown. Watched it myself and knew most of it already.

Ok, I found the article where I first learned of Dugin. Here it is:

foreignpolicy.com/2016/07/27/geopolitics-russia-mackinder-eurasia-heartland-dugin-ukraine-eurasianism-manifest-destiny-putin/

none it's a retarded movie

My fellow americunts it is time too act we need to spread this shit like wildfire. There is a great big hell on the horizon and i am wondering how many of you can be counted on when the time comes.
You think it will stop here?It starts slow user.

petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/prevent-hr-3999-being-signed-law

extra information.please do not let this slide.

congress.gov/bill/115th-congress/house-bill/3999/text

>image relevant,it is time to start being a man

i think that was the third one.

Sorry but I can't find the exact video on youtube (it was probably taken down countless times). All I remember was that it was huge in 2007 and showed off the low birth rates of all the euro countries and basically said they are all fucked and going to get taken over by muslims.

posted in the wrong thread,my bad.

Dugin's plan is basically assimilation.

Russia has no marches to defend itself. why not just assimilate everyone. Them we have no more enemies.

>Scrub lord tier thinking in my opinion.

youtube.com/watch?v=CrA_9SoCitk
was it this? i dont actually remember this one but it sounded like what you were talking about

That's the one. Thanks user. This was one of the many things that really opened my eyes back in 2007. Before that I never really paid much attention to happenings outside of the US.

I liked it. Made me paranoid for a few days cause my mind was blown.

This has always been the #1 fear for the Russian Leadership that's why the Warwas pact was created. They have no natural defense aside from the Urals and that is in the heatland in Russia and in no way useful when all your industry is in the European portion of Euroasia.

>muh anarcho-communist post-scarcity utopia
The first movie was pretty woke though,

>Together with fellow nationalist intellectual Eduard Limonov

Limonov is a complete marxist.
That article is simply riddled with mistakes when it comes to political realities.

This. All of the anti Christian arguments are shop worn kanards that a first year seminarian could dispense with easily.

I think that so many different culture having similyideas of a "God " kind of supports the idea, but not in the way lots of people imagine it to be. I don't know if God is real or not in some from, but I kind of like the idea. How many other delusions of reality do people live in evey day?

>Zeitgeist
A friend from work told me to watch this and it was my first introduction into internet redpilling community. I was 20 yo.
I regret that I went down the rabbit hole but I guess im here forever.

It was very great quality for its time. Way influential to the internet indie doc genre. As I grew older and read a lot more than I knew when I was 18, i was able to discern the bullshit and recognize what was pushed as proof that was lacking in legitimacy. It is still the first quality redpilling documentary for many millennials, even when it's wrong or insufficient in some of its claims.
By the second film it became full throttled cuck pushing technocratic socialism.

>shit font

>shit texture on a 3d model of a spherical cage

>shit globe texture

>shit space background

>numale talks about how sheeped u are for many hours

>"the movie"

I think it turned a lot of stupid people atheist. "Christianity's been debunked dude bro. Haven't you seen zeitgeist?"

This movie LITERALLY fucking put an entire generation on the Red Pill. For me, and for others, this is where it all began. No fucking joke.

Only retarded fedoras beleived this shit. Dumb people would have been dumb with or without this movie.

>some idiot YouTube video
>not koyaanisqatsi trilogy

"redpilled"

>this is where it all began. No fucking joke.
I remember the cognitive dissonance. I literally felt a little nauseous as i walked through the city the next day realising how society really works around me.

>wow that was weird
everyone's reaction

Zero, it's already been discarded as historically inaccurate and conspiracy drivel. The small percent of people in my generation that unironically believed that shit don't anymore.

i saw it and knew the government was corrupt to the core

you mean about how the banking system works?

yes and how banks literally create money out of thin air and then proceed to lend it to as at interest

yes, it gave me the lulz rather than the feelz though desu

how can people be so stupid? its a loss for any country in any situation.

0% is sexist

t. Spanish people talking about anything.

The only way that it can be reversed is for every fertile woman and man of European descent to get together RIGHT NOW and work to have at least 3 children per couple. This is extremely unlikely to happen, thus the blackpill.

This was the first thing that got me into politics etc when it came out. Yes, I was a kid.

WRONG!

legit garbage

how did i get here?
>bananarama>siobhan fahey>zeitgeist>mark steyn>neoconservatism>stormfront>Sup Forums

Made a lot of retarded people think they're way smarter than they are for a short period of time

yes this
the movie might be based on bollocks but it made dormant thinkers ask questions beyond "muffshots?" and "sauce?"

Babbis first conspiracy
too bad it was full of shit
several years before I woke up to anything that made sense although this doc planted the seed I guess

Nothing, because it was dogshit from a bunch of new age commies.

I literally saw this when I was 11, it was my first exposure to political stuff beyond just "Bush is stupid and the Iraq war is bad".

I think it had a major effect on boosting the Atheist movement, a lot of atheists back in the day said that there was no proof Jesus existed, and a lot of their arguments came from Zeitgeist type stuff, even though the arguments were completely baseless things from this scholar called Acharya S.

I think it also had a huge effect on growing 9/11 conspiracies as well as Loose Change, and 9/11 is like the gateway to a lot of deeper stuff for people. Finally, it probably had just as much of an effect on growing anti-Fed ideas as Ron Paul.

Whenever you see a liberal spouting anti-Fed ideas, his arguments probably came from Zeitgeist originally even if he hasn't seen the film. Zeitgeist put out the meme that the Fed was bad because it was a private corporation controlling our money, whereas if you come from a libertarian perspective you probably believe that the Fed is bad because it's actually a government organization that prints our money, it's just that they print way more than market value would require and end up basically being the reason why everything costs so much more than it did in the 50s.

The whole Venus Project robot communism thing pretty much had no effect though. It sort of got a second wind in a way a few years ago when more and more people began to be concerned about automation wiping out everyone's jobs, and then eventually some people began to posit the idea that if all of the robots took our jobs and not just some of them, then none of us would have to work. The Youtube video "Humans Need not Apply" had a big effect on spreading the full automation meme too.

See the similar "fully automated luxury communism" meme, which is basically the same thing as the Venus Project.

Jacque Fresco was cucked by some millenials who basically explained his idea better than he could, lol.

yet another kike meme to get people to turn away from the only true antidote to jewish tricks: Christ Our Lord.

Watch it at 14 back in 2009. It made me atheist and realize the farse of the current monetary system.
But 99% of the movie is bullshit. I thank them for helping me get somehow woke back then, but the Venus Utopia I could not hold for much time.
