Hope they build a mosque on top of the rubble

Bad

Natural result of the ongoing Protestantization of the Catholic Church.

show flag and i'll give you an honest answer

Good. All houses of worship are made by men, heresy at it's finest.

Good. I think only a hypocrite would be offended by this.

You contradict yourself. This is simply result of loss of popularity of church, and your picture literally says that a church shouldn't be concerned with loss of popularity.

...

Jealous of that guys job

Ruskie, Ruskie, Ruskie.
It is the failure of the Catholic populace to adhere to Catholicism, and the failure of the hierarchy itself to adhere to their own religion.
The use of contraceptives has decimated our population.
The disorientation after the Council and adoption of Protestant hermeneutics such as ecumenism, the failure to teach the truth of extra ecclesiam nulla salus, the stressing of baptism of desire, etc, has come to its logical conclusion: a mass exodus of Catholics into either apostasy or lukewarmness.
It is sad to watch what our ancestors built be torn down, but because the Church is a divine institution, it will resurrect more glorious than ever before at a time when it will seem all is lost.

Actually they will, nk.

Should've been repurposed to a synagogue instead of demolition.

Kys christcuck. Protestants are better Christians than you, and this is coming from an atheistic nihilist.

God will win in the end. He always does.

>16th century religion
>has gone through thousands and thousands of sects
>doesn't even have a defined dogma because unable to agree with one another upon a defined dogma
>uses New Testament the Catholic Church set into canon in 382AD at Council of Rome, reaffirmed again in 393 at Synod of Hippo, reaffirmed again in 419 at Council of Carthage
>still uses Papist New Testament
>reinterprets it to fit [x] Protestant sect
Keep on keepin' on sir.

Fine. I mean if you don't make room where are all the yuropoor cucks going to build the megamosques and child pornography studios?

Regardless of the religious aspect it is sad to see the architecture go.

...

>openly admitting you're a future walking suicide victim

That actually upset me quite and I haven't been in a church in 15 years.

I wonder who could be behind this...

Jesus wept.

>rapes children
>abuses women horrificly
>covers it all up
>rinse and repeat
>worships idols
>loves money
>is complete anethema to pretty much everything that Jesus presumably said, including as written in their own bible
>rationalizes it all anyways

There are two religions that are objectively worse than Catholicism. These are Islam and Judaism. But at least they are honest (within their scripture) about their crimes against humanity.

Same 'ol uneducated talking points from the land of Judaizing Calvinists.
I bet if you saw a five-pointed star in a medieval stained glass church window you'd think it was pagan, too; too uneducated to know it used to symbolize the five wounds of Christ.
Context is everything, but hey, why be picky when it comes to truth, right?
Won't really matter to you fellas anyway; secularism is leading you in a direction where your descendants will be piously reciting the Shahada.

>doesnt actually deny the charges

You cant because you know it is true.
Just one shocking example of HUNDREDS.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magdalene_Laundries_in_Ireland

If every Catholic felt the need to answer every charge every single time anything is brought up; that's all we'd do.
We've been answering Protestant theological arguments for 500 years but the same 'ol nonsense is regurgitated every generation.
Secondly, ascribing any heinous alleged actions of an individual or group of individuals to the Church proper as if it were orchestrated by the entire Church as a program is intellectually dishonest, and shows the inherent inability to distinguish between those who act in opposition to the Church they purport to belong to and those who adhere to the teachings of the Church.
If this is the standard, then you could easily blame Jesus Christ and the rest of the Apostles for the acts of Judas, which of course is absolutely insane.
Use your head.

>thats all we'd do

because there are SO MANY CHARGES

Its systemic in the Church.

And then you have the theological crimes. You worship Mary! You fucking kneel and pray before her idolized image! You instituted, for centuries, a tithe system that people could pay for absolution of their sins! This is AFTER CHRIST! Your Churches are adorned with GOLD! The Pope sits on an absolute FORTUNE of wealth!

At what point do you sit down and read your fucking bible and think, hey this Jesus guy, he might be on to something?

Nothing really, christian myself, but being here for so long you get used more weird shit on here. Besides fill me in what's the ops webm about was the church unstable structurally?

>idol worshiping catholic degenerates lose one of their meeting places
Oy gevalt don't destroy our heritage goym

One of my favorites of all is when the people ask Jesus whether they should get circumsized or not, and he tells them that faith is in their hearts and meaningless actions are meaningless. They then ask him about how they should pray, and he repeats the lesson that faith comes from the heart. They still don't get it, and in desperation he gives them the "Lords Prayer" as they at least in their ignorant need for a prayer, have that need based in faith.

And what does the Catholic church do? Does it teach individual faith from within? Or does it enshrine the concept of meaningless repetitive gestures like the Hail Mary (idolatry) and the Lord's Prayer as a necessity to worship?

I was like, WTF when I read that the first time at SEVEN YEARS OLD.

>SO MANY CHARGES
The Church has many enemies.
First Protestantism severed Europe after 1000+ years of Christendom, then manifested itself in philosophy in the Endarkenment, then the same liberalism manifested in the actualization of political revolution; the overthrow of altar and throne in classical liberalism.
And yet, in all the religious wars of the entire history of Christendom, they do not add up to the sheer amount of deaths from the advent of secularism.

>You worship Mary
Yet another hat-tip of your ignorance. She is neither goddess, divine, or an idol. She is beloved of the Father, mother of the Son, and spouse of the Holy Ghost. Very special indeed. We simply ask her to pray for us, as (we can only assume) the mother of the Son is pretty close to her Son, who just happens to be God and man.
>tithe system that people could pay for absolution of sins
Classic misinterpretation. There were 2 (yes, 2) indulgence preachers running around the Bavarian area during the time of Fr. Luther who did this. Most Bishops refused to allow him to even enter their diocese.

...

...

Your own catholic bishops are your enemies. You have a pedophile that is abusing dozens of children, you fucking move him to a new parish instead of putting him down because "we must protect the church".

Your system protects itself ABOVE THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN.

YOU WILL GO TO HELL IF YOU KEEP MAKING EXCUSES FOR THAT.

btw Denmark, Christianity. Redpill me on this dane how is it over there in your country and Scandinavia? How is Christianity and moral's over there genuinely curious and looking for decent response.

Remeber when ISIS were destroying ancient statues in Iraq and then the old temple in Palmyra? That's how low have we fallen.

>you move him to a new parish instead
Actually kid, if you were old enough you would know that was standard practice for all of psychiatry from the 1970's until the early 1990's. The hierarchy of the Church made the grave mistake of listening to contemporary psychiatry.
The standard practice was to move the offender from the situation and put them into therapy (as if therapy could help).
Not only this, the John Jay College report of 2012 to the USCCB showed that 81% of the abuse was homosexual in nature. The Vatican has banned ordaining homosexuals, yet, the Bishops rebelled and allowed it to happen. So yes, many of our own Bishops are the enemy--just like Judas was.

Where is this?

I am not even religious but this makes me very sad. There's nothing to be gain from destroying culture and history.

i am saddened by the beauty of old structures being destroyed but the hypocrisy that goes inside is and will now be gone is a good thing
You don't have to go to a den of serpents to prove your love in god your love in god is supposed to be private within yourself

Gothic architecture is everywhere, so I don't really care, these churches aren't really special.

>your love in god is supposed to be private within yourself
>Jesus
>Matthew 5:14-15
>[14] You are the light of the world. A city seated on a mountain cannot be hid. [15] Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but upon a candlestick, that it may shine to all that are in the house.
Hmmmm. I sense a "spiritual but not religious" kiddo

IIRC that church was really dilapidated, as in it was overgrown by plants and shit on the inside and in a state of total disrepair.

As pretty as it looks, there are literally hundreds upon hundreds of churchs like these. They weren't destroying Notre-Dame or the Sistine Chapel. I have three churches that look like that like 20 minutes from my house each located in some bumfuck suburb. It isn't some tragic loss that will leave a permanent void. I'd probably wager the reason they took it down was because there were too many more churches nearby to justify its continued existence, although I don't know for sure so whatever.

Happy that i'm not german

Another great day in francistan

well you have to put that abstract statue of a used ladypad fucked by a dildo somewhere

feels good fuck christcucks.

Nah, the actual reason it was demolished is because nobody took responsibility for the church's renovation despite a collective forming and promoting it.

but yeah, this is a neogothic church from 1876, if it was NYC's st patrick church id have shed a tear but these swarm France.

Damn, I thought Isis would never get that far north.
