I really don’t think Bannon and Bernie are all that different and I think the Left needs to look past Bannon’s overblown perception as a “white nationalist” in the MSM. Bannon disavows white nationalists and Spencer as “clowns” and “fools”, and doesn’t enjoy them even though he may be making cash off of their idieology with Breitbart. Also, many Berniecrats would actually appreciate Bannon’s economics, and if they understood his “America First” proposal, they’d understand he actually doesn’t really care about social/ethnic diversity (LGBTQ, minorities with citizenship, etc) groups as long as they understand they’re American. Bannon and Bernie both propose taxing the rich and creating an inclusive, yet self-interested America.
They only seem to differ on Immigration and maybe Healthcare, but I could see Bannon toying with the idea of Single-payer if it was popular with the middle class. Bannon also aims to control trusts and monopolies, as does Bernie.
