Will there ever be an anime as good as FMA 2003 again?

Hard to tell... those openings... really good plot... Envy's voice...

Good

I like FMA, the story is sound and it doesn't get dragged like the other bigger series, which get milked.

You listen to me, and you listen well user. My repulsion is not an act. I was such a fan of the 2003 anime and first 7 volumes of the manga, that when I heard they were finally finishing the Brotherhood, I said screw it, and marathoned the entire manga in two weeks through onemanga, on my freaking Wii Internet Browser. So don't you dare talk to me about how low I've had to stoop to quench my thirst for FMA.

I know exactly what it's like to see my beloved series fly off the hinges and introduce plot convenience left and right, a panda bear, ninjas, and a stupid overarching MUH PROMISED DAY! plotline that amounts to nothing. I had Hiromu Arakawa shove her atheism down my throat with her concept of the guy in the Gate, infinitely inferior to the anime's concept of the Gate. I put up with Terminator King Bradley and his getting BTHO by a last minute copout. I stayed on while the tattoo on Hawkeye's and her father being Mustang's mentor never amounted to anything. I could see the Star Wars parallels between the whole Greed transference of power, and let my leg get pulled while Ling became a good guy and fought Wrath. I even let my leg get pulled enough to overlook Armstrong and Izumi's husband killing Sloth by matching him in feats of strength.

I waved it all off. But you know what finally did me in? The Super Saiyan final boss making a Rasengan.

FINALLY! Like the Tell-Tale Heart's interminable thumping, I could no longer take it. I dropped it right before the final chapters and have never looked back or been happier in my life.

>Brotherhood.
Better plot sure, but all the other aspecs are just bland.

I totally forgot how hot was Ed in the official art.

user, please.

>Better plot
Try better nothing.

Will there ever be an anime as good as Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex?

DUDE NAZIS LMAO

Season 1 of AoT

autism

I really do think you might have autism.

Implying a second season this decade

...

I know exactly what to do with this.

Hunter x Hunter

no, i miss fma 2003

>if someone puts out an eloquent argument against something I don't like it's gotta be autism! NOBODY CAN BE THAT SMART. OW BIG WORDS HURT MUH BRAIN.

Also, just to make you all even more anally flustered, I'm going to let you in on a little secret.

I actually caught up with the manga a few chapters from the end. This is because the announcement of the anime's end preceded the manga and ultimately came only a month later, meaning Arakawa had already told them how it was to end. So I would have gotten the front row experience to coincide both events together. You couldn't ask for a more MUH OFFICIAL FIDELITY than that. And yet I still turned it all down because it was THAT BAD.

Well there you go What are you gonna say to his arguement?

You know, as bait-y and charged and even pretentiously written as it is... Dude's actually right.

K-on

But every aspect of 2003 is bad.Plot being the worst victim.

>implying that diarrhea diatribe can be considered an eloquent argument
>implying you used any big words

But 2003 is garbage and forgotten
