Togashi x Kishimoto Interview Part 3

My nigga.

I know that pain.

How many parts are there of this interview anyway?

Is this in response to his recent artwork?

Kuso tryhard who stole every idea from Togashi vs constantly dying from cancer guy.

Are huge hands the shoujo equivalent to huge boobs?

Don't know why it would be. Togashi's art this arc has been great so far.

What is this, an interview with ants?

Says the guy whose art is fucking horrid even by WSJ standards.

My Bad.

Even when his tendonitis is flaring up he's good. I like how he does expressions.

You're the sort of dumbass he's talking about, since you value detail and polish over the ability to convey a story through art. He's an extremely good manga artist even when he's sick and scribbling, his composition and paneling skills are what make oblivious people think they read HxH for the story rather than the art.

That not so subtle jab.

...

Thanks user.

>Interviewer never asks about the hiatus
So the whole thing was a waste of everyone's time.

Damn, I didn't even recognize this as HxH

They are talking a guy doing this in 20 minutes man.

Not a fan of Togashi at all, but he's completely correct here.

Speak for yourself, nigger.

all talk no action

are you trying to prove something? it's easy to understand what's happening there

then what the hell is happening in the last panel?

He's been posting those same panels from YYH all year. Even keeps the same filename so you can check the archive, nigga's desperate as fuck

Kastro is striking and Hisoka dodged by moving to the right. Can you not see that?

I am aware. It was still funny.

I'm talking about Also the flow between the last two panels is shit here

>Mob
>ONE
ONE is just flashing action visuals. He doesnt know how to create drama composition.

...

You again huh?

?

It's even more obvious what's going on in that panel. Sensui elbowed Yusuke and it sent him bounding away. Each of those smoke clouds is the impact of him hitting the ground as he skips along it. You'd have to be half blind and/or retarded to not understand what's happening there.

He got sent flying and is skipping like a rock on a lake. Isn't that kind of obvious?

Reminder not to reply to cancer.

>Each of those smoke clouds
Why are there multiple smoke clouds instead of a single continuous one? Why is Yusuke skipping on the ground like rock on water?

>You'd have to be half blind and/or retarded to not understand what's happening there.
Not my fault the art is bad Yusuke isn't even depicted in the panel even when he is apparently skipping.

...

His scene composition is good.

>Why are there multiple smoke clouds instead of a single continuous one?
Are you this out of touch with reality, user?

>Why is Yusuke skipping on the ground like rock on water?
Maybe because this is a fictional battle shounen and it does not and never did fallout every facet of physics?

>Not my fault the art is bad Yusuke isn't even depicted in the panel even when he is apparently skipping.

It's called zooming out my friend. You'd never be able to see Yusuke clearly at that distance even if Togashi unnecessarily tried to scribble him in. This seems to be less a case of Togashi's art and more a case of you just being incompetent.

>Being this retarded.

You are literally an autist I'm not even going to bother to answer those inane questions.

*follow

Kek.

>in less than a fucking month

Classic Togashi.

First Pakunoda and first Senritsu still get me.

Weren't there two years between those chapters?

>Are you this out of touch with reality, user?
No argument huh?

>It's called zooming out my friend.
What's the point of doing that if the background is so void?

>You'd never be able to see Yusuke clearly at that distance even if Togashi unnecessarily tried to scribble him in.
A good artsit would.

>This seems to be less a case of Togashi's art and more a case of you just being incompetent.
Nah it's definitely Togashi, the sequence of event aren't depicted well at all.

Pic related

Nah man, you're just being a retarded OR you're just trying so hard to find something to blame. Maybe some of the panels in some of his works are unclear but the examples you showed are not. Also how did you remembered so fast which parts to complain about? You've a whole folder where you always save the pages?

Yes, user is retarded.

...

see >Ad Hominem

...

...

>No argument huh?
The picture was the argument my mentally challenged friend.

>What's the point of doing that if the background is so void?
Because that sequence cannot be understood unless at that perspective. Maybe if you knew anything about what you're saying, you'd be able to recognize that.

>A good artist would.
Doesn't matter how detailed you made that shot. You'd never be able to see Yusuke while still retaining his relative size to the mountains.

>Nah it's definitely Togashi, the sequence of event aren't depicted well at all.
Really? Because from what I've seen everyone here was able to understand what was happening in that panel and the only one who's having a hard time is you.

...

...

Are we just posting random pictures of HxH now, or do these have a purpose?

>that pic
;_;

...

>The picture was the argument my mentally challenged friend.
Are you retarded? Yusuke isn't a rock and they weren't fighting on a lake. So how does that image help?

>Because that sequence cannot be understood unless at that perspective
Sure it can, it just takes a good artist and besides it's not like the current perspective is any good either.

>Doesn't matter how detailed you made that shot
He could have used Yusuke's aura/spirit energy or speed lines to show how he was moving.

>relative size to the mountains.
Those were mountains? Damn Togashi sucks. Also how is Yusuke "skipping" on mountains?

>Really? Because from what I've seen everyone here was able to understand
People filling in the blanks for Togashi doesn't make it well depicted user.

His grudge against Togashi is bizarre. I assume he's a fan of another battle shounen and is offended people praised HxH in comparison or something.

Togashi has issues with his output on occasion, but anyone who's actually read his manga knows it happens during certain specific periods rather than being the norm. That's why this guy is always reposting the end of YYH when he'd totally given up and the 7 or so volumes of HxH from when his hand was injured, which got redrawn anyway. His art ranges from decent to great the rest of the time.

...

>Are you retarded? Yusuke isn't a rock and they weren't fighting on a lake. So how does that image help?
Because it conveys the very basic concept of what skipping looks like. You are the only person I've ever met who seemed confused by that concept.

>He could have used Yusuke's aura/spirit energy or speed lines to show how he was moving.
The angling of the sound effect as well as the decreasing size of the impacts shows how he's moving pretty plainly. If you can't figure something as simple as that out, then the fault lies with you.

>Those were mountains? Damn Togashi sucks.
Once again, more telling of your own inability to perceive things rather than Togashi's alleged inability to convey them.

>People filling in the blanks for Togashi doesn't make it well depicted user.
There's a difference between most people being able to comprehend a straightforward image and people filling in the blanks. I won't tell you that that image has good art quality, no one will, but if you can't understand what is going on in it, then it's a case of you simply being behind the curve of average human perceptive ability.

>His art ranges from decent to great
top kek

...

>quoting out of context
top kek

He could be mad that artists praise and are inspired by his art

Is this supposed to be a bad page?

>posting a page from the 7 volumes I referred to
Surprise fucking surprise, you're like a broken record.

It's actually more likely for him to bounce.

In real life when a parachute doesn't work, the poor baster ends up bouncing like that. Then the body seems to be from a miny midget

>heaping praise at JoJo's Bizarre Adventure because some villain used the power to stop time and was stopped in turn by stopping time back.

Was it actually that good or is the Editor just a fanboy shilling?

Also, what does Kishi mean when he keeps talking about mid-distance shots? What is a mid-distance shot?

Those aren't mountains. He sent Yusuke skipping across the water. Ground doesn't splash like that.

>delusional drones defend togashis lazy scribbles

now ive seen everything
fucking zealots holy shit
cant you just accept that hes a lazy nigger and art has chignon to do with it

You tell me, Mr frog, why is some Togashifags likes to drink Togashi's cum and deem him the flawless god of mangakas.

>Also, what does Kishi mean when he keeps talking about mid-distance shots? What is a mid-distance shot?

These. I was pleasantly surprised that Kishi mentioned Togashi's mid-distance shots because I've always liked how he drew people from a distance.

Togashi's good.

>water
fuckin lol. Water doesn't splash like that but it makes the boom sound effect and creates a smoke cloud when you crash into it? Just leave already and take you facebook memes with you.

On the one hand, I'm sure Araki appreciates the compliment, but on the other hand, Togashi complimenting anyone's ability to stick to a timetable is a bit...

lmao masashi kishimoto its a hack, he basically ripped most shit from him and his manga turned to shit after his original editor left.

You're acting retarded. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you're trolling.

Friends, the retard posting 'bad' pages of HxH just made me pick up the series.

Oh yeah. I see. Thanks.

Good. Make sure you read the Viz ones though.

Have fun

Yup, that's how I picked it up.

...

Why do all of these threads about the interview become circlejerking over togashi's vacation or art?

Because the same autist as always makes it his mission to spam cherrypicked pages out of some compulsion to stop people liking things he doesn't like. There might be discussion about other things if not for him starting up early on.

>Pitou becomes less cat like
>Gel becomes less snake like

Has moe gone too far?

No. We can go further.

>At that time, the manga artist I respected most was Nobuyuki Fukumoto, creator of Kaiji.
Togashi has amazing taste
