Why?
There are too many men right now and even if they dont have a chance of getting the girl they do two things:
1. Clutter the market, an average girl can get hundreds of messages on dating sites and get approached just as many times IRL. This makes it harder for guys who have a chance to make their intentions to girls.
2. Blow up girls egos. Girls who get so much attention always want to wait for the next best thing and makes girls think they are worth more than they really are. this also presents itself in women being unwilling to commit because there are always more guys out there for her to try
A simple way to fix this problem is to get rid of many guys, by giving them robot wives you take them out of the fight and introduce competition for women (first time in history women need to compete in dating)

I specifically said these guys have no chance anyway but they DO clutter up the market and take up space.

What matters and what girls will take notice of is that instead of there being 100 guys/1 girl now she cant use beta orbiters for free food/services etc because she will realize she isnt as independent as she thought
Women think they are independent because if they need emotional comfort, there is a man there for provide. If she has financial trouble, there is a man there to provide, if she needs to be driven somewhere, there is a man there to provide.
There is no incentive for women to commit because all of her needs are being taken care of by all these men she is using(except maybe the sexual one)
