Hatch is "retiring" in Utah clearing the way for what will almost certainly be a Romney win of this seat.
Romney will take on the exact same role as McCain and Jeff Flake, the "conscious" traditional conservative opposition to President Trump and his agenda.
He will vote to spoil this agenda accordingly and to cheers from the establishment.
This is exactly what the Republican (and Dem) elite wants to do in 2018 and 2020 to counter the President. Look for more of it.
