I thought capitalism was meant to reward those with the best ideas and innovations. how peculiar. Its almost like the "just work hard lmao" meme is bullshit

maybe promote him?

>giving your ideas away for free
What a retard

>giving away your ideas for free
If your good at something never do it for free.

This, pretty much. Capitalism rewards innovation but only when it's executed right (i.e., not letting someone else run with the fucking idea, and starting your own business to capitalize on it instead)

...

In communism this would be called sedition. He'd be dead.

Harder than it sounds to raise (((capital))).

Ideas are a dime a dozen and worth literally nothing. It's about how you execute it.
"idea people" are useless.

>capitalism
>"just work hard lmao"
>communism
>"work or die. also you earn nothing"

So... he should have just held onto his ideas and told Argos to promote him from a van driver to the head of sales so he could save the company... okay. I somehow think that's unlikely.

Meanwhile while Argos are laughing at him the company goes under and he looses his job anyway.

This
Tesla was a moron also,he could've been the wealthiest slav to ever walk this Earth(not hard to beat when you think about it) but he blew it by ''all money" immediately instead of procentage of all money earned(as suggested to him)

The Wright brothers invented the airplane. Suppose you come up with something more mundane like a highly specific business process that saves your company 1.5 million

It's hard to monetize that and if you're just a low-level minimum wage employee you have no leverage. What are you going to do, try to get a job at a top consulting firm ?

It's not that easy.

businessbecause.com/news/mba-careers/3725/mba-jobs-where-bain-bcg-mckinsey-will-hire-more

he was not an owner, he was an employee. Capitalism only rewards owners. Employee stock ownership and profit sharing should be mandatory for all corporations to correct this.

Anther case: Kary Mullis who invented PCR which spawned the ENTIRE field of genetic engineering and was sold for literally billions, received only a 10k bonus check from the corporation for whom he worked and who thereby OWNED his idea, besides his Nobel prize.

Capitalism is of owners, for the owners, and by the owners. If you are not an owner, you are owned.

Tell me about Bain

Bain Capital? The company that drove ClearChannel into bankruptcy by loading it with billions in debt they put into their own pockets (Mitt Romney)? It is a real testament and case study of the perversions of capitalism.

Bridgewater and Pimco are other ponzi capitalism stories run by Bernie Madoff type characters.

>if you're good at something, never do it for free
he gave them the list. if he had gone in and said "I'll save this company if you pay me to do it" and got a job, then you'd never be hearing about this
Sure, if he'd have gone in there clear and confident, slammed his hand on the desk and said "i can save this company" they just might have given him a chance

Real capitalism has never been tried.

But muh socialism

nah, thats how it all works
its the very same reason Im not going into software development. some dumbshit business major would just take all of the shekels I earned and give me pennies for it all.

This guy gets it

>working for another man and not actively trying to screw him just as hard as he's trying to screw you.

fucking normies REEEEEEEE

WHY DOES HE WEAR THE MASK?

it's work smarter, not harder

Should he have had a firm handshake as well?

Second that.

We have ideas that would make us millions, so many people do

But have no cash or ability to execute.

Good luck getting that multi-million dollar deal with a Chinese company so you can spend 15 minutes per week writing easy as fuck meme software while making tons of money without that dumbshit business major.

A rising tide lifts all boats, you stupid nigger.

You aren't going into software development because you are too dumb.

>Just giving away your idea without asking for payment

You have to go back, Chang.

>doing more than the bare minimum
>trusting Mr. Shekelstein

stay mad cubicle monkey

Top lever boomerposting, you forgot the firm handshake and that he should look them straight in the eye.

I'm not mad, I'm laughing at how retarded you are.

Stay dumb, poorfag.

Create your own company and become a competitor to your former employers, using your idea to gain an edge. Or, if you're unwilling to do that, sell your idea to competitors if your own business won't listen.

>I thought capitalism was meant to reward those with the best ideas and innovations

When you work for someone else, the typically get the rights to your intellectual output. After all, it is their company, their resources, and their money they are giving to you to be productive.

If you don't like how you are being treated by your employer, changes employers.

Better yet, free yourself and start your own company.

>nigger sounding namefag larping as a confederate tells me to go back.

kys faggot

Billionaire globalist here. I love capitalism. We elites keep fucking over the plebs and yet we have an entire useful idiot army of conservashit right wing retard who continue serving our interests. They even cut our taxes!

Toodles!

>single exploitation
>the whole idea of capitalism doesnt stand on its feet now
Like what are you

>rich dont all support democrats
>rich avoid paying taxes even in tax heavy countries

thicccc

Anyone defending Argos in this situation is a corporate cocksucking piece of shit

That's what we've programmed our useful idiots to say.

Just keep cutting our taxes morons. Don't worry it'll trickle down. We promise.

We have programmed an entire useful idiot army of conservatives/right wingers to always obey corporations. They are not allowed to disobey.

this

>keep cutting taxes
>USA has 3rd highest corporate tax rate in the world

This is what people can't grasp capitalism, every idiot thinks capitalism is about a head full of ideas.
Sorry to brake it to you idiots that is called day dreaming, capitalism is about the execution of such ideas and even then there is no guarantee the market will reward you

Corporate profits are at all time highs. We make $7 TRILLION in profits per year. We shipped millions of your jobs overseas. The stock market is at all time highs. You should definitely cut our taxes. We'll bring back jobs from China. We promise. Trust us. Cut our taxes.

>font
>rick and morty
I'm absolutely disgusted

>make corporate tax rates nearly double the average rate
>all of a sudden competition is gone
>start making trillions in profits
>ship jobs overseas with lower tax rates
Yes goy, keep raising taxes, why have a job when there's so many Chinese to replace you?

how does freedom taste?

He must have arrived late, not made eye contact, and/or given a fishy handshake.

Yeah, I'm far-right, and I think this guy should have gotten like a 10k-15k bonus, or something.

This guy could be making millions right now but he took the easy route and just hoped that the company would reward him AFTER he gave away an idea for free. The corporation was undoubtably a self cunt in this case, but he was also an idiot for trusting them.

Initially,
>giving your ideas away for free
However, unfortunately most contracts even for low-tier jobs include an intellectual property clause, where if you come up with an idea that would improve their business while working for them, it belongs to the company you signed with
So, if he quit and sold it, or just sold his idea to another company, they would be able to sue him into oblivion
Even if they couldn't win it because they couldn't prove he came up with it while working for them, the legal costs on his side alone would put him into mountains of debt
No winning

You mean a diamond dozen

Money isn't everything amigo.

This is what's happening in countries like France that are told they're """""service industries"""""

>something happens which is odd enough to be deemed noteworthy and therefore appears in the news
>business as usual for capitalism
Choose 1 (one)

This happens more frequently than is reported.

In fact I know people this has happened to. Moral of the story is if you have an idea to make your boss a lot of money, shut your mouth and keep it to yourself.

Use your brain power on developing your own business not someone else's. Perform your job duties as required but don't go beyond them.

Rather then give them all your idea, give them just a couple. When your ideas work, they ask “hey you got any more.”

“Make me an offer.”

If you actually have good, executable ideas, but don't trust the place you give them to execute them to your benefit, rethink the idea to make them step in a crap pile that they can't realize, but has short term gain. You win short term, then get the hell out of there before it implodes.
It's surprisingly satisfying.

>Tell bread czar how to improve bread distribution so we don't starve
>Gives me nothing

>WOOOOW I THOUGHT COMMUNISM WAS SUPPOSED TO BE UTOPIA WHERE I GET WHAT I DESERVE WHEN THE FUCKING IDEOLOGY EXPLICITLY SAYS TO EACH ACCORDING TO HIS NEED

Retard should have started his own company.

You did not understand shit.

Neither that guy.

>I thought capitalism was meant to reward those with the best ideas and innovations.
1) What we have now is far from a pure capitalist system. Government intervention is everywhere, protecting bad businessmen with bad reputations from losing their positions of power, and crushing good businessmen with regulatory musical chairs.
2) Fairness and consistency aren't the main arguments for capitalism. Rather, by making individual people owners of real, important capital like land and factory tools, it creates strong incentives to preserve and develop value.
3) Any system will have its horror stories. "Guy gives away value unconditionally to someone more powerful, hoping to be richly rewarded, gets a mere trifle." isn't bad compared to people hunting dogs for food in socialist Venezuela, let alone shit like the Great Leap Forward under Maoism.

Anyway, there's a good chance that the truth of this story isn't quite as presented.

ITT:
>just make your own company what are you complaining about lmoa

US corporate tax rate hasn't gone up in decades. US corporations are thriving. They're making record profits. Over $7 TRILLION in profits. You should definitely cut the tax rate for Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan though. Me and my fellow billionaire globalists will definitely pay you higher wages. We totally won't take our lower taxes and put the money in our Panama bank accounts. Continue serving our interests. Continue cutting our taxes.

>Guy gives a bunch of ideas away for free and wonders why he isn't rich afterwards.
>The Republic of Aquafresh Sensitive agrees.
Non-story.

Capitalism is meant to reward Jewish bankers, it’s a relic of the 20th century and won’t survive past 2050.

>>make corporate tax rates nearly double the average rate

What are you even talking about? LOL. Who made this? When did this happen? Lol you don't even make sense.

Listen, just cut taxes for me and my fellow billionaires. Ok don't think too much. It'll trickle down on you don't worry. Goldman Sachs needs a tax cut. Obey me.

>Capitalism is meant to reward Jewish bankers

DELETE THIS NOW

...

>rewards who owns the capital
Fixed for you.

>I got rich by shipping American jobs overseas

>Idiot Republican voters call me a job creator

>They elected a billionaire globalist 10x worse than me in 2016

I went to college and had the grades to be business major.
Said fuck it and went for a high demand trade.
Either way, major or not the average person is a pleb with pleb interests; vanity can act as a motivation but it is not a quality.
As long as I can pay for my basic needs and my muay thai classes with in mind that I can kick your ass I am good.
It's bliss really.

>make corporate tax rates nearly double the average rate
>all of a sudden competition is gone
>start making trillions in profits
>ship jobs overseas with lower tax rates
Boy, we sure taught those rich guys a lesson, didn't we?

>Corporations making trillions in profits need tax cuts

good goy

Suggestions are meant to torment your employer passively.

>Hate your job
>Write out list filled with redundant language knowing your boss has to read thought.
>add suggestions accordingly to the mount of shit you put up with

This is one of the few times you can get away with passing ur pain off to your employer.

>implying the corporations are paying the taxes when they can just move their money to Switzerland and their factories to China
If the goal was to enrich other nations at the expense of our own, your plan is working perfectly.

Goldman Sachs here. Cut my taxes bitch.

The solution definitely isn't to crack down on corporate tax evasion. It's definitely to give them tax cuts. That makes sense.

Trump takes aim at Obama's ban on "tax inversions"
cbsnews.com/news/trump-taxes-corporate-transfer-overseas/

Your text-in-an-image ignores important considerations:
1) Currently, corporate taxes are easy to avoid through international arrangements.
2) The arrangements to minimize corporate tax burden often involve moving jobs out of the country.
3) Investing in corporations is a popular means of retirement savings, so corporate profits are important to most of the population.
4) Corporations provide important goods and services, typically at competitive prices, and will not operate unprofitably. A share of tax savings tends to be passed down as lower prices to the consumer, while an increase in taxes on business results in higher prices and quality cuts or discontinuation.

It's similar to the environmental regulation issue. Having strict environmental regulation and liberal international trade simply ends up moving industry to countries with lax environmental regulation.

ive been to school and was taught that its all a waste of goddamn time and energy

>The solution definitely isn't to crack down on corporate tax evasion
Aaaaaand now they're gone completely. Congratulations, the United States is now Detroit. Although I guess that was your plan all along, wasn't it schlomo?

>UK
>capatilism

He probably got more money out of that than anyone else. You don't get a cut of the money you save. Finding an accounting or inventory error that nets the company millions of dollars doesn't entitle you to it. Improving a process doesn't either.

Good goy. Continue supporting corporate tax evasion. We corporations only make $7 TRILLION in profits per year. We can't afford to pay taxes.

The plebs making $50k a year, they gotta pay tho. BIGLY!

Anyone who isn't defending Argos has never worked a real job before.

We corporations make $7 TRILLION in profits every year. We can't afford to pay taxes. You have to cut our taxes. It'll trickle down, we promise. Continue serving our interests. You are a good boy.

>letting them hold your country to ransom

You have to obey your corporate masters. We have an entire useful idiot army of conservashit right wing retards. Don't ruin it for us please.

>crack down on corporate tax evasion
You shouldn't use "tax evasion", which is the name of a crime. The term "tax avoidance" is more appropriate.

Anyway, stopping corporate tax avoidance isn't at all simple or easy. You're changing rules that large numbers of successful, important companies are organized around. You're stepping on issues of the sovereignty of foreign states, and principles of international trade. There's a good chance that you'll end up simply destroying what you want to tax, or chasing it out of your country.

It's a very complicated issue.

Kek

Yeah, let's not reinvest those profits to grow or improve our business. We should just give it away to the shitshovelers in the capital so they can hold their jobs and funnel the money to their own business interests

schools are the problem. Destroy them.

Ive always wanted to campaign across the states burning all the highschools down somehow. itd be too difficult but damn I want to.

well shit. that really would have been the winning strategy...christ, this cunt would be rich by now if he'd thought to do that instead of being blindly faithful. Shows where loyalty gets ya, eh?

The profits get reinvested into my new yacht. Don't worry goy.

ya know what this sort of thing happened to my dad I dont/know how much money it saved the company if any, but it made life a bit easier for workers.

my grandma said he was always building things as a lil kid

oh well

>You don't get a cut of the money you save. Finding an accounting or inventory error that nets the company millions of dollars doesn't entitle you to it. Improving a process doesn't either.

It should at least net you an interview for a promotion.

Had they promoted this guy to some paper pushing 25k/year supply chain job, guarantee you we wouldn't be hearing about this story.

Giving a hard working and intelligent employees even a (meager) promotion often yields dividends for a business. It improves company morale and in the long run you get a better corp of managers who understand the foundation of the business.

That's how it used to be 30 or so years ago. You could work your way up from the bottom to middle management by the time you hit your peak earning years.

nytimes.com/2017/09/03/upshot/to-understand-rising-inequality-consider-the-janitors-at-two-top-companies-then-and-now.html

Businesses these days are far too shortsighted and this will be their downfall.

>Anyway, stopping corporate tax avoidance isn't at all simple or easy.

Right. Better to just focus the IRS on the plebs making $50,000
